This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Getting to wait 3 yrs til the next test? That's so worth behaving for! The first thing I thought of when I saw the pic was..'oh..look..there's a light at the end of the tunnel'.. ;D
well Tina I know it didn't sound like strangling 2 cats like ur used too...nor were they singing thru their noses or off-key...but in reality...they are great and it was very beautiful...
Now that would may not have to get ur cooch smeared or spelunked for 3 years maybe you can substitute a hearing test....
Michael Thanks for the blog today. I haven't been able to listen to it yet but I'm sure it will be lovely.
I did google the dutchess and what the hell happened to her? She used to be quite a lovely woman and now she is a cartoon. My mother was 83 and she looks sooooo much better than this.
Jodi I know it isn't pleasant but I hope you are taking care of yourself by getting the recommended paps. Just because you don't have multiple partners doesn't mean you are immune to ever getting cervical cancer.
SLIN - The reason I don't get paps is because I don't have the equipment anymore. I had to have a complete hysterectomy including my cervix the night I had Jake.
HOdi I'm sorry! I knew that and it totally slipped my mind as I typed that. Blame it on the "dying of eggs" production that's been going on here and on my age (of course).
Michael - That was lovely. I enjoyed it so very much. I played it twice. I love boys' choirs. They have a certain quality that no other choirs have. The story reminded me of Bing Crosby's 1944 movie "Going Our Way" and Spencer Tracy's 1938 movie "Boys Town". It is great when delinquent boys can be taken off the streets and can be steered to a more productive life. Thanks for sharing the video.
Sorry I have been MIA. I have been so busy baking Hot Cross Buns (did you get the ones I sent to the nest?), shopping and getting ready for Easter. I just finished filling 13 baskets with Easter candy making sure that they were all even. I filled out the same amount of cards and tucked in some money. A card isn't the same if there isn't a surprise inside. I am ready for bed and the Easter Bunny.
13 BASKETS???!!! Tinka~ ur nutz!!!! I didn't do a one this year....the hubby made one for the oldest brat and sent it up to him.....then felt bad amd made the other two brats one each and that was last week....now they are with their grandparents...so ha!
The hubby and i went to mass tonight~ 3 hrs long~ I felt Mormon for a minute there~ 18 people became Catholic tonight at our church....and the priest just cracks me up~ He told them now that they are Catholic, they'll be getting their envelopes in the mail in 2 weeks~ He cracked jokes all night...appropriately, of course....Happy Easter everyone~
TINKA - You remind me so much of my Mom!! Everything had to be even and fair....right down to the penny. Trust me, I have the receipts from her last Christmas to prove it :)
TINA - lol @ feeling Mormon for a minute!! How did you manage a kid-free holiday?!!?

TINA - I do not miss those visits!! The last time I visited my doc, he wanted to do a pap. For what?!!? A cheap thrill?
TINA - Isn't young love grand? I'd skip the nunnery, though and just get her a chastity belt ;)
Best get going. Having lunch at GOLDIE'S today. Can't wait to see her grandkids and my German Mother ♥
Tina You're looking lovely in first today. I guess you no longer do the egg dying thing. I was boiling lots of eggs last night.

Tinka 13 Easter baskets? You must be exhausted. I know what you mean about making sure that all are filled evenly.
