This Night Owl Blog has given so much!
It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Good Morning Tina - It isn't my "cup of tea" but I am glad you enjoy it.
I am waiting for word about my grandchildren's dog. As I said in area 51 their labrador had a stroke yesterday morning and we all put in a sad day. We are having a party here today and I can already feel the sadness that will permeate the party. I guess that is life. We have to accept the good and the bad.
How revolting....the 5 seconds I saw anyway. Tina must be having a hormone imbalance.
Hi Tinka. Murine...
Sad about the doggie Tinka....I have a friend in Houston that had a stroke last Sunday. Just got out of ICU yestiddy....I think it may be her "time" too....
TINA: I like Flo Rida so I knew I'd like this song..vid is good too..it's a good song to get be-boppin to first thing in the morning..thanks!
MO: You are looking just stunning today!!
TINKA: I'm sorry to hear about your grand children's beloved pet. I hope she will rally today and give them some more happy days with her. I understand when you say 'that is life'..but sometimes life sure isn't fair..
MICHAEL: I hope it's not your friend's 'time' and that they will recover..
Off to enjoy another day in this blast furnace we call home..105* yesterday..even hotter today..oh joy..oh rapture..and to think..it's only just begun.. ;)
Hi Michael - Wishing your friend a complete recovery. Strokes are strange. They can take you instantly or you can have a major stroke and recover completely. I had a minor stroke in 1997 but thank God never had a second one.
Hi Zona - My grandchildren's dog is a little better today. She can stagger around and doesn't seem to be in pain. They know she doesn't have long however and are still very sad. It's hard to lose any pet but your first one always cuts the deepest. I will write later.
So picture this~ We went to church last night....then to dinner....then to the grocery store...i was kinda antsy when i got home so went outside to play with the dog while the girl mopped~ Then, cuz I was tired...I got in bed with my laptop and the tv on~ It was hot tho....so I was just wearing a t-shirt and my undies...the ones with the X's and O's and hearts~ I FINALLY thought I should go to sleep and realized it was 10:53pm and I hadn't taken my meds yet.....ugh! I had to go downstairs cuz they were in my purse~ I thought...hell...I'm not getting dressed just to go downstairs....so I went...went past the front door...stood there getting my meds.....then went to the kitchen to get some water. THAT'S when the doorbell rang!!!! The kids were in the family room holding onto the dog....i was STUCK in the kitchen with my undies on and hubby came downstairs to get the door....I thought....at this hour...it could only be the police!!! I looked at my husband and told him i was in my underwear!!! He answered the door, but I heard nothing....then he went outside...I could hear him go down the steps....then back up...paused...then came inside and shut the door! In he comes with a note and a puzzle! Oh My Hell!!! It was the boy who has been dating my daughter.....asking her to the prom!!!! AND HE CAME TO THE DOOR WHEN I WAS STANDING THERE IN MY UNDERWEAR!!!!! He's gotta be scarred for life!!!!!!~
TINA...I read your post and I am fixated on the part where you were playing with the dog...dumb dog? I had the distinct impression you didn't like the dog!
Tina You must have slept in today. I enjoyed your story of showing off your undies to the girl's boyfriend. Kind of late for him to come by, though, so serves him right if he saw more than he wanted to.
Tina2 I forgot to say that I did enjoy the song and the vid. As the kids used to say on American Bandstand, "It has a good beat and is easy to dance to".
