This Night Owl Blog has given so much! It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"! We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly. And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :) It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

My Hero
by Vig
June 27th is the birth date of Helen Keller. It is now celebrated worldwide as a part of Deafblind Awareness week. Throughout her life Helen Keller impacted the lives of those with disabilities and continues to do so forty-one years after her death.
Helen Keller is one of my heroes. She was a true activist. Her life was devoted to social change and righting wrongs. She understood that one person really could make a difference. She did not let what others see as a handicap, prevent her from doing what she knew to be her life’s purpose.
From Wikipedia:
Keller went on to become a world-famous speaker and author. She is remembered as an advocate for people with disabilities amid numerous other causes. She was a suffragist, a pacifist, a Wilson opposer, a radical socialist, and a birth control supporter. In 1915, Helen Keller and George Kessler founded the Helen Keller International (HKI) organization. This organization is devoted to research in vision, health and nutrition. In 1920, she helped to found the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
So I put this dinner party question to you…if you could meet a hero or someone who has impacted the world and really made a difference (living or dead) who would it be and why?

Wow Vig! First your adorable picture and now a beautiful blog! Helen Keller is certainly a hero! I get so emotional when I see anything about her. Just watching that short clip brought tears to my eyes. It is amazing how she overcame so much. A true example of Hope!!!
Good morning owls!!
Good Morning Everyone!!
VIG: Wow...who would I want to meet, and why?? The first name that comes to mind, is Jesus. I know I'll meet Him someday, and I have a lot of questions to ask. I know when I do, I'll finally understand some of the things that don't make any sense to me now.
I really need to think about this some more. Really intersting blog VIG, and great question!!
Congrats on 1st GRANDMA MOSES!
Ok, I've been foaded 5 times this morning already..not looking too good for me...as far as posting goes.
VIG: I also wanted to thank you for telling us more about Helen Keller. I am embarrassed to admit that most of my knowledge about her comes from the movie "The Miracle Worker" and the little I remember from school. I'm going to go to the library and find a book on her life. Can you recommend one?? Thank you again.
Good morning, zona!! Sorry about your folding troubles! I am going out soon, but I hope to be back later. Not sure as I have a busy day.
VIG - Beautiful blog......and a great tribute to an incredible woman!! I'll have to think more about a hero that I would like to meet.....truly I have met some of the most AMAZING people right here on this blog.....and I look up to so many in different ways. So that is my answer for now.
Good morning to GRANDMA MOSES (congrats on first!!!) and ZONA!!!
VIG - Your baby pic is just so damn cute.....even without your pink bonnet!!!
VIG: Wonderful tribute to Helen Keller!
Mine would be Henry Bergh, because he was the founder of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals {ASPCA), the first animal welfare organization in the USA. He was also one of the founders of the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the first child protection agency.
I'm off to work so a quick Hello to everyone!
Happy Friday!
Morning Glories!
GM got first! Wahoo!
I saw that Goldie got first yesterday! Sheeeees Baaaaack!
Vig what a beautiful blog. Helen Keller was an amazing woman!
I just don't know if there is one person as there are so many to pick from. I will have to think on this for awhile.
PS I love your baby picture! It looks like here I come watch out! LOL
Things have been up in the air at the D house and I am trying to keep my head together right now. So I will pop in and out as I can.
10!!!
VIG: Great blog! I have always been fascinated by Helen Keller! It is amazing that she was still able to communicate even though she was blind and deaf.
There are many people out there that I would love to meet (both alive and deceased). However, I think I would love to have met the late Pope John Paul II. He really did so much for humanity. I admire that he always tried to instill unity among people and dared to enter places that most popes never dared! I really do think (whether Catholic or not) that he was admired by many.
GM, congrats on #1!
Zona, congrats on being the runner up!
Hi to Jodi, Amicus and Lynn D
12...
I also forgot to mention that in meeting PJPII, that I would hope he could help me to regain a once strong faith (as it just has been a let down to me lately).
14..there...one more even number! ; )
sorry...that should be "meet" not "met"!
16...
never mind...I guess I said it right!
18...

20!!! OK...I'll quit being annoying now! ; )
Good morning, GM, Zona, Jodi, Amicus, Lynn D, and Jennifer!
Interesting blog, VIG! I think I'd like to have dinner with Queen Elizabeth... the first! LOVE her! But Jodi, I love your answer, too, and am in violent agreement with it!
And... forgive me, VIG... I have to do it...
How did Helen Keller burn her hands?
She tried to read her waffle iron.
The first thought I had after reading the blog this morning was...the people right here. Every day I come here and read all the blogs and comments. I read your passion for animals, your devotion to your families, your trials and your triumphs. You face life head on and keep going, even when it tries to push you back. You may not have the cure for cancer or global warming but to me each and everyone of you are heros to me. Thank you for being me friends.
Awwwww, Shirley! :)
Good Morning all you wonderful owls.
VIG - Your blog is fantastic. As soon as I get my thoughts together I will be back to answer.
Grandma moses - Congrats on First.
I have just returned from delivering Tango to the hospital to have her teeth cleaned and perhaps one pulled. I am nervous about having an almost eleven year old doggy being put under general anesthetic. I won't stop pacing the floor until I know she is awake. I will be back at that point. I can't relax long enough to think until then.
Zonababy - Get some sleep. I will write later.
Good morning!
Awesome, AMAZING blog VIG! And what an adorable baby pic!
I don't have time to watch the vid right now, but will tonight when I get home from work.
I have lots of people on the list, first would be my grandfather who was killed in WWII. He was not famous, but to me and my family he was a hero!
I will post more later.
Shirley I agree with you, I'd love to meet all the blog buddies! I've had the pleasure of meeting some and they are as nice in person as on the blog.
Big (((HUG))) to you!
Whab you are too funny!
OK I'm off. Oh, congrats to GM for being first!
Have a nice, non-smoky day! (The news said N. Cali is in for 5 more days of this lovely smoky air).
Congrats on 1st Grandma Moses!
Great blog Vig!

Tink: I am sure Tango will be fine! I will keep my fingers crossed! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
Shirley, I would LOVE some plain pancakes (with real butter)! I'll have more coffee too!
Now is Tina's brownie recipe the same as Goldie's?
That was my deleted comment. It accidentally posted twice!

Good morning Owls! Happy Friday to GrandmaM, Zona, Jodi, Amicus, LynnD, Jennifer, Whabbear, Shirley, Pinkatia, EBJ and all the wonderful Owls!
Wow....you sure know how to make a person feel special! Thank you so much for your fantastic comments about the baby VIG picture and about this blog. And yes, Shirley, I agree with you, you Owls are my heroes too. You are all amazing and lift my spirits every day!
Last day of the school year so there is much to finish up today, hence it is time to get busy, but just wanted to drop by to say thank you to you all!
No Jennifer, the brownies aren't the same recipe as Goldie's. No one could make them as good as her. However the "ingredients" are quite similar...if you know what I mean. **wink**wink**
Hey I got QOTD again. Thanks Just Lin and Carol. (((HUGS)))
Happy Friday!!
Good Morning.. everyone!!
Vig - excellent blog today. thank you.
Well, the real world is waiting for me - I'm going to go join it.
I hope everyone has an excellent day!!
:-)
VIG, great blog! I have always admired Helen Keller--she was and still is such an inspiration. I really enjoyed reading about her when I was a young girl.
I'll have to think about who I would choose. Perhaps George Washington or Abraham Lincoln. Although I would also agree with Whabbear on Queen Elizabeth!
Grandma moses, congrats on first!
Thanks for breakfast, Shirley!
Hope all the owls are having a good day.
From area 51:
VIG, I actually loved seeing a baby picture yesterday morning! I was making a joke at myself when I said I couldn't begin to guess a baby picture when I so stink at the graduation pictures! In fact, I think we should do baby pics next. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was complaining about the baby picture--I really wasn't. And, btw, you were an adorable baby.
Glynis, I sure hope you don't leave for awhile. There are always going to be times when someone "hears" something a different way than intended when we're only going by the written word. I always enjoy your posts.

40...
Now off to the movies with Katie. We are going to see Kung-Fu Panda (Jack Black does the voice and I think he is pretty darn funny)!
BBL!
Hi All! I just want everyone to know. My internet is down at home( I am sneaking in at work) so I won't be on until Tuesday. :(
We had a bad storm here last night and we think it fried the modem. Take care all and have a great weekend.
I loved your blog VIG and very much enjoyed the video. She was a remarkable woman.
There are many people I would
liked to have met. My great grandmother's name was Susanna O'Shay and she was born in Ireland. She came to Canada with her family during the potato famine and settled in Cape Breton. There are no pictures of her but somehow I can see her in my mind. I would love to talk to her and hear what it must have been like to move to a new country at such a young age.
I would love to talk to Elvis. He made such an impact in the music field. I would love to ask him how he got so involved in prescription drugs. He wouldn't be that old if he were still alive today.
I am waiting to hear from my Vet and to know that Tango is awake. Why do we love our pets so? I can't live without them. When I lose one I feel I can never open my heart like that again. I tell myself I will never be able to love another. About 4 months later I am looking for another dog or cat and the process starts again.
Thanks for the Slim Fast Shirley. I am going to be losing weight, bypassing your beautiful breakfasts and drinking only Slim Fast. I think this is two days in a row. I will be back when the Vet calls.

Bebbi - You must have writing at the same time as I was. We didn't have a storm the night before last but we had a power outage. I thought something was wrong with my computer but it was my imagination. Speaking of imagination, I got quite frightened when the lights went out that night. My bedroom is dark but when the lights go out everywhere it is so dark you can't even see your hands. I started wondering if something had happened world wide. The imagination is a dangerous thing in the middle of a dark night. I made the resolution that I would always keep my flashlight where I can reach it and know where my battery radio is at all times. I do that in the winter when storms are expected but I never think of it in normal weather.

I am marching as I sit and wait for the phone to ring.
Hi everyone! I almost feel awake after sleeping off & on since I got home.
Not to get off the wonderful subject, but has anyone had trouble adding pictures to myspace? It is driving me crazy! I keep trying but no luck.
Tinka any news yet?
Hi Mary! I haven't added any pictures lately so I can't help you there. I look forward to seeing yours from your trip when you get them downloaded.
Shirley, I have them in my files, but can't get them to download into myspace. I know it's not me,cuz I was able to add to this site. I will keep trying.
Whabby said a funny! Shame shame.Never mind, you wouldn't be our Whabbear.
Tinka, Tango will be wanting some Tinka hugs.
Bebbi~ I was off line for almost 2 weeks! Not having my cell phone took a little getting used to also. Now I keep forgetting to take it with me.
Vig~ Great post. My two favs. would be Ghandi & Mother Theresa.
My bestest, bestest would be all my blog buddies! lol!! Missed you all!
great blog, vig~ I loved Helen Keller~
I think if I could meet anyone, it would be Mother Teresa~ She led such an incredible life and was/is so inspiring. I just read the latest book on her with many of her letters and it was unbelievable...very humbling~
I also have to agree with Jodi and Shirley....i would love to meet the owls as well!~ I will have to work on that~
Congrats GM on first~
oh...and Shirley.....I spit out my DP when I read your breakfast post~ lol~
Just checking in.....working on laundry, laundry, and more laundry!!! I have to work this weekend....so trying to stay ahead of the game on my day off!!!
TINKA - Let us know when the vet calls. :D
VIG - WOO HOO!!! Last day of school for you.....any big plans for your summer break?
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
swing to the left, swing to the right!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!

left, left, left, right, left!!!
do si do and away we go!!!
69!!!
yessssssssssssss.......got that out of my system......back to work for me!!!
Hi Owls! Thanks for the congrats on first!!
Tinka, I am hoping your Tango's procedure goes fine and is soon home.
I love reading every single comment here! TY Hooters!!
Oh, Zona, the book about Annie Sullivan, Helen's teacher, is great!
My Vet just phoned and Tango is awake so I am relieved. What doesn't exactly thrill me is the fact that it turned into not a regular cleaning but the removal of 5 back molars at the cost of $700. I have pet insurance but it does not cover anything to do with teeth even the antibiotics that she will now be on to prevent infection. She is well worth the money I know but when you pay $400 a year for insurance you think extractions would be covered. Anyway I guess poor little Tango will be feeling quite sore for a few days.
Mary - Yes Tango will need lots of hugs. She will be on my lap until she feels better. Tia will be too. She has been
'lost' all morning without her big sister.
Grandma moses, Shirley, Jodi, Jennifer, Zona and VIG - Thanks for your kind words as well.
I am now going to have a nap. Tango should be able to come home by dinner time.
TINKA - So glad that Tango is awake and the procedure went well. Enjoy your nap......and have a great weekend!!!
MARY/MI - I uploaded some pics this week on myspace....no problems here. I hope you find a way to do it, cuz I can't wait to see the sights from your trip!!!
Tinka, so glad little Tango is awake and will come home soon.
I find taking the dogs to the vet is much like taking your car to the mechanic. You take it in for one thing and darned if they don't find more things that need to be done!
But you're right, our fur babies are worth it.
I keep saying I'm going to learn how to groom my giant poodles but I'm chicken. Amicus, could you come visit me and teach me how??? Better yet, could you just move to GA? LOL
Tink: Good news on Tango!
Jennifer & Mary/MI:
What did they call the tennis match between Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder?
Endless Love.
Grandma Moses:
Congrats on First!
Vig:
I loved your blog today, I did not know much about HK, except for the movies. So I did learn something new. Thank you.
I so appreciate your commitment to give the nest a blog each month. Thanks for that as well...
And
I am going to leave your picture up for a another day. It just reminds me of "pure yellow". I hope you don't mind.. :O)
Tinka:
Glad Tango is doing well! She will be home soon..
I have been thinking of who my hero is for the last couple of days. I will say, the more I thought the more my Dad came into my mind.
I have never blogged about my Dad, and I should. I will for sure...
So my Dad in my eyes, is my hero!
♥♥
Shirley:
You are on a roll :O)
Shirley:
I loved your post, that was very endearing. I am glad you are here, as without your wit and your food I would be lost...
:O)
Shirley:
And your Help!!!!
Awwwwww thanks Carol. You're going to make me cry.
I am going out to dinner with my nephews and sister.
Anthony the graduate, just finished with his law pre course, if he passes the tests, he gets into law school we will know after the 4th of July...
My fingers and toes are crossed, as he deserves it and wants it so much...
Jodi:
Thanks for calling me... It was so nice to talk with you...What a great surprise!
Now you can tell Zona, I really have sexy voice ;O)
CAROL....you really DO have a sexy voice!!! And I could understand every word. :P
Great Blog today, VIG! Helen Keller was an inspiration to me when I was young. I remember reading a biography of her when I was about 10. And then of course, saw the incredible movie with Patty Duke and Ann Bancroft. Amazing!
Joey~ Congrats for Rosie posting your "Say What" answer.
You such an amazing young man,
you will NOT die alone, I promise you!
There are so many people both past and present I would like to meet, or at least see in an interview, I can't make a choice. However, I do agree with Shirley, I would LOVE to meet all of our Beautiful Owls and Owlettes someday!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Carol...a very long and busy last day of the school year has been filled with yellow. Thank you for posting my blog and for your kind words about the baby pic and for leaving it up. It brings a twinkle to my eye every time I see it there!
I love and am very appreciative of the positive and kind words and responses to the blog today. I am so impressed by the diversity of heroes we have - from Jesus to Dad. So very cool! Thank you all for your words!
VIG: All that comes to mind when I look at your baby picture is..."you must have been a beautiful baby, cause baby look at you now!" Good blog today also.
I think if I could pick a hero, I also would pick Jesus. I would just like to be let in on this plan he has going and see if I agree with the whole thing. :) Isn't it just like a woman, ready to make a few adjustments even with Jesus. I do want to footnote this, I do not want to go to "see" him quite yet...this is just IF you could have dinner with a hero, right?
ZONA: Still no mail, are you sure you put a stamp on it?
My husband is gone overnight to the mountains (Rifle) for a going away gathering for the president of his college. He wanted to drive home, but it is too far that time of night. SOOOOOOO, I am single tonight---anyone want to go drinking and dancing (whoops, I still have oxygen so maybe not so much dancing). ZONA: I wish I was closer and I would come over and jump in that pool with you as it is 90 today and that is much too hot for me!
TINK: So Tango has no dental insurance? Do they even make that for pets? I am glad she is doing okay.
SHIRLEY: Thanks for tossing in those gingerbread pancakes again this morning. When my doctor asked me why I wasn't losing weight...I blamed it on you and the pancakes---I don't think it worked! :)
BEBBI: Our power went off the other night but only for a minute. It was like an explosion and our TV is acting weird (the sound) now. Hope you get your computer fixed over the weekend.
BEAR: I think you are cracking yourself up with these jokes..you are so fun! When are you going to be in my neck of the woods next?
LYNND: Hope things are better for all of you and that you have some weekend excitement planned.
HELLO to all you and JUSTLIN..what are you up too? It is a little too quiet from you. Are you drooling over custard pictures?
MEK: Ready for me to pick you up for the night? I'll drive!
Tango is home. I am happy she is home and alive but sad when I look at her. I took in a happy dog and I brought home a sad one with a sore mouth. She doesn't understand what happened. She can't walk much for a week so I will be getting good use out of her stroller.
Dianne - I have pet insurance for Tango and Tia but if I get the policy that includes dental it is more expensive than you usually ever pay for dental work. The insurance has been worth while for Tango. So far Tia hasn't needed it.
Whabbear, Carol and Dianne - Thank you also for the kind words about Tango. I am off to cuddle a very sad looking little dog and a second one who doesn't know what is going on. Tia has the look on her face like "Am I next?". See you all later.
Love, Tinka
Good evening owls!
I have been pondering the hero blog all day today!
I have to say so many of you have had great responses!
I think my problem is I am not a person who is generally star struck or look at people to idolize. Is that the word?? I don't know.
I do however have a great respect for all people who stand up for what they believe in no matter the cost to themselves. The everyday hero's who jump in and later say... well I don't know why, it was just the right thing to do.
People who volunteer and help take care of others even when they themselves may need the help.
So I guess my conclusion is just every day people! They aren't looking for fame or attention just doing what they think is right!
I too want to meet the wonderful every day people I have met through this blog. I am going to work on my positive thought images this year to make that happen.
Tinka: I am glad Tango is home. I am so sorry that they had to take out so many teeth.
Dianne in Denver I am starting to think you may be an oxygen addict! LOL
Whabbear oh boy your jokes are making me groan! :)
Mary in MI: is back! Mary don't know what is up with myspace but I had problems logging in most of the week. I think it is the upgrades they have been doing.
I have come to the conclusion today. That no matter what is happening right now that has me in a tizzy, the outcome's are what is best and to be grateful for the lessons.

LYNN D - lmfao at covering your ass!!! Thanks for the chuckle!!
I hope everyone has a great night!! I have to work in the morning....so this HO best say Good night!!
I was going to log out after my earlier posts and then it dawned on me hey it says 93!
Where the heck is everybody!
Carol I did the march barefoot and without a helmet and with natural padding!
Hey Owls. How is everybody today? I'm in a crappy mood as I am feeling very irritated with Custard and need to stay away from the emails so I don't write something that I can't take back.
grandma moses Congrats on being the early owl today.
Shirley That was a really lovely thing you said about the owls. Also, thanks again for always providing the best and most creative meals. I need an extra brownie today. :)
VIG That was a wonderful blog today and Helen Keller was an amazing and inspirational person. My first response to the question of who my heroes are, was the same as Mary/MI's; Ghandi and Mother Teresa. Their absolute pure selflessness puts me in awe.
LynnD I forgot to congratulate you on your march to 100! Fine job it was!
Just Lin I'm sorry to hear you're irrated with Custard. I hope things work themselves out.
Thanks for your kind word.
(((HUGS)))
Tinka I'm so happy that Tango is home safe and sound so you can relax. She'll probably just want to sleep it off tonight.
Thank you Shirley. (((HUGS))
I'm going to try and respond to yesterdays blog. as most of you know my brother was murdered. So here is my view on the death penalty. There has to be complete proof of guilt for death pen. Guys like Wesley Allen dodd,Scott peterson etc. My parents made the decision to not seek the death penalty for the guy who shot my brother because he was agreeing to plead guilty. He was going to get 48 years which my parents figured was longer than they would even be alive. We were also told that people rarely live that long in prison. I don't know about that. He still has 38years to serve. My hope is that prison life I'd horrific to him,but ok not so sure.they get to do so much and get so many special privlages (so) that it makes me sick to think that he is just sitting there right now maybe watching a movie and my brother has been dead for 10 years.
I think I will take my 'fur babies' to bed. That might make it easier for Tango. She looks so sad and Tia doesn't understand. I guess having 5 molars pulled is not pleasant even for a wee dog.
Sandie, and Just_Lin - I want to thank you for your kind words too. It always feels so much better when someone acknowledges your worry. The blog is so good at that. I should say the people on this blog are so good at that.
Good Night and God Bless
Love, Tinka
Ok forgive the typos I'm ok my itouch!
Barbara - I did not know that about your brother. I am so sorry. I understand how upset you are if you think his murderer is getting privileges. I don't know much about the system but I always thought death row was a pretty nasty place to be and so it should be. He should get no privileges in my opinion.
Good Night again. Love, tink
Hi owls!
Barb/wa, how horrible about your brother. I can certainly understand why you feel that way.
We had a huge water main break at the end of our street about three hours ago and they are still digging! They haven't yet reached the break. The whole street is caved in. The worst part is we have no water (whine, whine ...) and it doesn't look like we will any time soon.
Guess I'll just go to bed.

Good night Sandie...you are not alone. I am just picturing the rinsing with an ice cube!!
Sandie - This is a strange night. I keep checking back and the nest seems to be empty. Everyone must be out in the summer evening, (although it is getting quite late back east.) I am going back to bed again.

*peaking in* HI all again. No computer fixed at home but I came over to my mom'a apartment complex. Her internet is out too but the office internet is working so I did my work and thought I would pop in to say hello.
I called and complained so they say they are sending someone out on Sunday. Now that my mom's is not working too I will have to call them on hers as well!!
The last month we have had nothing but trouble with our system. At least they give me rebates but it is a pain when you do a lot of things on the internet.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and, God Willing!, I will be back up and running on Sunday.
Tink, Mary/MI (so glad your back!), and dianne/denver thanks for the comments. I swear this storm stuff is awful. Another big one tonight too.
grandma moses: congrats on first! :)
bye all talk to you again if I get back on anytime.
130
Hi Bebbi - Are you still there?
oops tink, I stole 130!
Well, here it is Friday night and I am home and finally spending some time on the computer and everyone is somewhere!! I didn't even get a "taker" on the going out dancing tonight from any of you. Are you all on vacation, hanging out at a picnic, swimming in the pool...the main thing is hopefully, having fun. I will check back later.
Sorry about that, I stepped all over ya there! I have to go cause my mom has to work in the morning and she left her apartment door open for me since I was over here. HUGS and I hope the teddy bears are happy and cozy all back in their room. :)
Bebbi, is your computer working or are you still at work?
TINK: I thought you went to bed awhile ago and here you are marching!!!!
Dianne - I think I just missed you while I was typing.
hi/bye dianne!! Leaving for real now..by tinkky dink awink. :)
Dianne - I have been in bed a couple of hours. My puppy dogs are sleeping on my bed. I keep getting up and checking to see who is in the nest. As soon as I arrive they fly away. It must be me.
140
Tink: What are your little dogs doing while you are marching all around the house? They must be scared watching their "mommy". If Tango is on pain pills (do they do that for dogs) then she probably thinks she is having dreams!!
Bebbi - "Tinkky dink awink - Now that nickname takes the cake. I am off to bed for sure this time. I will check back in the morning and see if the Night Owls show up. I haven't seen Carol tonight.
143
144
TINK: It's nothing personal about you but you keep marching on the people that are in the nest. I have your boot print twice now on my back!!
145
TINK..........OW!!!
Dianne - I know that I keep stepping on owls. They pop out from no-where. I hope I don't get sued.
149
150
That's my last march. The coast is clear.
TINK: Sorry, but I am going to have to call my attorney!
Hiya hooters,
Thought I'd stop in before bed. I had a super busy, crazy day at work and looking forward to my nice comfy bed!
Barb I am so sorry about your brother, I cannot even imagine what your family has been through.
(((HUG))) to you.
Pinka I'm glad your baby is ok. I used to feel the same way when I'd take Lilly in for her teeth cleaning, she needed it every other year and had only a few teeth left when she died.
That never stopped her from eating! She was so cute, and we miss her.
A girl I work with found a litter of kittens behind her shed yesterday, the mommy cat had pushed the runt out so she took it is feeding it.
She was up every 2 hours last night and it slept on her chest!
It's a little orange tabby and her kids named him Cheeto, isn't that adorable?
She said he is skin, bones and hair but is eating his kitten formula and survived the night.
I just love stories like that! :)
I'll be back tomorrow!! Goodnight.
I'm here Sandie, but headed for bed.
I went out with Mr Mary tonight. He has missed me the last 2 weeks I was gone, so I agreed to a few beers tonight. Now I am really droopy lol!
Whabby~ g-r-o-a-n!!
LynnD~I was finally able to down load my pics.
Zona~ I love your hunka hunka burning love avatar!
Tinka~ Aw, I can just see all 3 of you cuddling in for the night. Hope the morning is bettr for Tango.
Diane I have 2 brothers. I can't imagine the pain you have been through. Where I live we are surrounded by prisons. Iget mad when I go by them and see them playing on their basketball courts.
I'd better get to bed, my head is still somewhere over the Atlantic ocean!
Bebbi~ Thanks, it's nice to be home in the good old USA!
MARY/MI: HI, it is Barb that lost her brother in such a tragic way. I think you just got our names mixed up. Mary, I love your new pictures on MS. It looks like you had a great time. Too bad I don't live near you...I would have tipped a couple of those beers with you and MrMary!
BARB: I am so sorry about the loss of your brother. I cannot know your pain but I would feel the same way about the prisnors. We have the death penalty here but it doesn't ever seem to get further than being on death row. We have a guy that has been there for 12 years for going on a shooting spree at Chucky Cheese. A new one has been added to the row this week and now he wants to have his own website!! I am sending hugs to you!!
Ok WANT TO SLEEP, I see you on Myspace and it says you are thirsty. That must mean you are awake!!

Good morning you wonderful owls!!
I went to a wedding last night, but think I was feeling feverish. We even left before the dessert hour!!
I went right to bed when I got home, but now am up bright and early. I hate when this happens!
Sandie, omg, did you get water yet?
barb, I am so sorry about your brother, just tragic.
ebj, I am rooting for the kitten!!
Tinkatia, sad that Tango lost 5 teeth, but I am hoping she will feel better in no time. Take care.
Barb: that is a tragedy about your brother. It must have been really hard on your whole family to go through that. *BIG HUG*
grandma moses: My mom was feeling bad last night and she said she wasn't going to work today. She ended up feeling better today and going in. I hope that you are feeling better today.
