This Night Owl Blog has given so much! It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"! We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly. And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :) It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Friday the 13th
in honor of today, i thought i would
find of clip of Friday the 13th the movie
i really don't like horror flicks
actually they scare the crap out of me,
so needless to say, i don't watch
them
however, Jason from Friday the 13th
has always spiked up my curiosity,
why was he so mean? why did he kill
so brutally? (at least that is what i have been told)
so when i saw this clip, i thought, perhaps
this will explain his actions, well, you will
see, i am still in the dark.......
don't be scared, it is not gory,
but it is funny, in a Jason kind
of way!
Enjoy!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 270 of 270zona, That happens to me when I go in one Walmart around here. Every single time I go there. I always thought it was a bad design on their part or something. I really hate it. I won't go to that Walmart, luckily it is not the closest one. Does it happen every time you go there?
Zona:
Congrats on 200!
I do believe that was our first march together! Well then, it is now official! We marched together!
Fun!
WOO HOO!!! A Slurpee and 200..who could ask for anything more??
Thanks for the mini march CPGEM!! I have a note to send you on Myspace after dinner. :)
Someone complained about our answering machine message so I am going to make dinner while Mr. Z changes it. :)
Ronnie:
Hello right back attcha!
Bebbi:
Sorry, I sandwhiched you as I was marching!
That's okay :)
and that ain't no bologna! (get it, sandwich..bologna..) okay..boooo on that one. ;)
I guessed wrong again!! I really suck at this game.
IBB That's a darling picture of you and I can see a mischievous twinkle in your eye. ;)
Bebbi:
I love Bologna!!!
Ok gotta watch 20/20, its about that little girl who had a parasite twin...
I will be back later!
:) I used to LOVE fried bologna sandwiches but as I have gotten older it does NOT love me. I can't eat hot dogs anymore either, except 100% beef.
Now my thing is hard salami...MMmmmmmmm!! That stuff is so good. A slice on rye bread with a bit of mustard..yummmmmmMy!
IBB: I do agree with everyone. That is a wonderful picture of you. :)
IBB~~That picture is freakin' ADORABLE! Bet you were (are?) quite the mischief-maker!
ZONA~~WalMarts are notorious for 'shopping cart shock syndrome'. When our WM Superstore opened a few years ago, they had to replace or add a piece to all their carts. It even made the news, people were actually getting injured! Could tell you tales, but I'll leave the explanation to "Mr. Science".
Wishing all owls a great evening and weekend. Got to get out and enjoy these 9:30 pm sunsets while we have them!!
ZONA: I love your comment about your shopping being "electrifying"!!! That is a strange thing! I don't think I ever had that happen to me!
Bebbi: I was going to comment on how I don't like scary OR sad movies either. They have to have a happy ending for ME to like them! I hated Atonement for that very reason! I agree that life has enough sadness. Besides, if I am reading (or watching) fiction, I want a happy ending (esp. since life very rarely offers us them)!
OK...didn't I say I was going?!
I need to go. I'm still at my friend's house (typing on her lap-top while sitting in her chase lounge in front of her HD big screen TV!!! Yeah...this is the life! ; ) I feel sorry for her when she has to watch MY house!
Carol: WHAT? A PARASITE twin?! WTF? I must watch....
214
Well, at least it was an even number...
218
219
220!!!
I never saw Atonement. I don't guess I want to now. Did you see Charlie Wilson's war?
I had an idea that I want to pursue. I want to watch every Academy Award winning movie, starting from the very first one. Do you think that is possible? Wouldn't it be cool if you could buy or rent them, in order.
The only thing slightly scary that I like is the tv series Medium. As far as reality stuff, I like Ghost Hunters and Paranormal State.
Last summer I rented every Medium starting from the first one. My hubby got really tired of the song that comes on when each episode starts up..lol.
I've been sitting here with my kids while they show me funny things on youtube. Of course, what's funny to them (especially my boys) is not always funny to me! But, it's not often all three of them are sitting around spending time with Mom (especailly on a Friday night!) so I was really enjoying it!
Zona, I'm sorry you had such a shocking experience! I think they should have given you something for free--like an anti-surge protector strip or something.
Jennifer, how nice that you get to enjoy all those things at your friend's house! I'm sure she really appreciates you watching her house for her.
bebbi....OMG your thing is now hard salami???? OMG I took that so wrong!!!!
Well it's now official. If you want to know who is NOT the owl of the day ask Tinka.
I should have looked at pictures or at least 'listened' to Tina. Oh well somebody has to be at the bottom of the class.
I just arrived home from the ball game. They won as usual but poor little Traci has become more afraid of the ball as the pitchers got stronger and faster this season. It doesn't help that she is the only girl on the team. The teams are for boys and girls 10 and 11. Traci is only a couple of months past 10 and some of the boys are just weeks from being 12. They look like men. It was a different story last year so I think this is going to be her final season. Because her team is sitting at #1 she will have to endure the play-offs and so will I.
I stopped off at the Super Market and loaded up on fruit and treats for my students fridge. I bought ingredients to make her chicken soup. When she was here in 1999 I nursed her through the flu with my chicken soup and ginger ale. About a year after she returned to Japan she got sick and she e-mailed and asked if she could have the recipe for my chicken soup. She had good memories of it. For the first two days most students have extreme jet lag. After their 15 hour flight they want to sleep and then they are awake at night. She will have lots to eat while I am sleeping.
I am too tired to read all the posts but I will catch up on them another day.
IBB, you are so beautiful. Sorry I didn't know it was you.
I am off to bed. I have a ball game in the morning. Sending hugs to all who need them. Stay safe. Love, Tinka
Barbara~ i went to the same place with that salami thing~ :)~
Zona~ Your new msg needs work~ WHY aren't you able to come to the phone? What are you doing that is more important than picking up my call? lol~ :)~ mwah~
The brats went to the movies....2hrs of peace! (I said peace...not piece....the other son is still here!)
I'm sleeping...
Bebbi: No, I haven't seen that one. Does it have a happy ending?!
Sandie: Yes, I do enjoy her "luxuries"! She is like the sister I always wanted (I do have a sister...but....)! ; )
Tink: Don't feel bad. I don't think I have guessed any of them right either! I think Tina has the inside scoop somehow! ; )
Tina: Do you intercept Carol's e-mails so you can find out who the mystery owl is every day?! ; )
want:
You and I are on a roll...
I am going 2sleep!

Now I can go to bed!!!
Have a great night!!!
Hello Everyone....what a sad day for the loss of Tim Russert. I am like you MEK, I just can't tear myself away from the TV. I wasn't home when the news broke, so I have been watching all night.
TINA: Happy Birthday to the twins. Two 13 year olds and another getting ready to drive...if you don't color your hair yet...believe me...you will soon!!!
ZONA: How long does it take to get that pool ready? You have been able to do that for the last month..I thought you would be practicing your swan dive by now. I keep looking on your MS for the pictures!!
IBB: Great picture and I think if I would have been on the nest today..I might have guessed you. You can certainly tell you and MEK are related!! :)
CAROL: I have sent messages to LOVEY AND NOWMERCY and not heard a word from either. I do hope they are both doing well and that we will hear from them soon.
TINK: It sounds like you are going to be the "hostess with the mostess"..can't wait to come on the private jet to visit sometime soon. I will wait until your houseguest leaves though!!
Ok...time to go to bed and rest. My CT SCAN yesterday did show that my pneumonia is gone...now I just have to get back energy and get off the damn oxygen. Hopefully, after going to the lung dr on the 24th that will happen. Night to all..
Dianne - get off that damn oxygen - in Denver!! Good to see you ..
i think i'm on Tim Russert overload - Tim Brokaw said that the Today Show will be a special report tomorrow morning with Matt Lauer - i will have to get up to watch - don't normally watch that on Saturday....
Greta - On the Record - has just done an excellent job on her show about Tim....
I have been saying this ALL week.
God sure does have an odd sense of humor.......
I'm off to bed - I hope everyone has an excellent Saturday.
:-)
Good nite..
Dianne Good night! Great news that the pneumonia is finally gone. Whoo Hoo!!!! I'm so happy that you are on the mend. :)
MEK Good night and sweet dreams!
EBJ: Your picture is very pretty. I love how innocent and beautiful each picture is of all the owls.
JUSTLIN: Just noticed you put me up for QOTD...thanks. It really is true. I "THINK" when JOEY or WHABBY put their picture up...I might (and I use that term losely) be able to >>>>name the owl>>>!!
Has anyone heard from GOLDIE that her driving trip worked out safely? JODI: I am very relieved to know that you and your family are safe. It is so scary when we can't even feel safe in our homes!!
This time really...good night all.
MEK: I will be waking up early tomorrow also to watch the Today Show. I was up early last Saturday to watch Hillary give her speech (and then it ended up being much later). Have a good sleep as it has been a hard week for you and hope that you are somewhat feeling better. Thinking of you.
Dianne_get_your_ass_in_bed_in_Denver~ :)
Hi, Owls!
Drunk!
:)
hi bear.....not drunk~
Good morning TINA & WHABBY!!
DIANNE - I talked to GOLDIE on the first leg of her trip (she had to drop Pepper off at the kennel), and they are having to drive 2-3 hours east and north to go west (I90/94 was closed due to flooding from Madison to Mauston).
Shh, I'm sleeping.
WANT - Did you see GOLDIE drive by?!!?
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
269!!!
It was so windy here I blew off the roof and missed Goldie !
Ok, Just_Lin-
Did it. Now what? I think this is what I did before....I'm blaming it on google, or birdee...either one is fine with me. :)
