are constantly up and down, how each
day is so different from the next, how
the need to reach out in words is just

yesterday was quite emotional for all
involved, yet it really effected two very
special people the most, the situations
were different, yet the same, the sadness
that they bore, we felt just the same
i could have literally reached thru this
computer and grabbed on to Mek and
Glynis and held on, my words would have
been simple "we are here" three simple
words, however so strong they are
in life there are times when we just feel
we can't do it anymore, it is just to hard,
we loose the fight
once in my lifetime, i was ready to give up
i just could not fight anymore, i told this to
"him" and he replied "you don't have to fight
anymore, i will do it for you, for the both of us"
and he did!
so i say to all:
its ok, you don't have to fight, we will
fight for you!
today is a new day, look to the sky
breathe, let go, "we are here"

Yes I came in at # 1 and a lot of other numbers waiting for the owls to show up. It was a long wait. There were only a few of us for the first two hours. I thought later I should have deleted half of my posts. I kept thinking if I started a march someone would jump in but they didn't. Then I left and the nest got very busy. Maybe that is telling me something and this little owl with the fuzzy white head just isn't hearing it.
Mek - That's what I have been doing waiting for Tina's guess and copying her but today I thought she was fooling us.
Bebbi - Nice to see you. Have you been busy lately?
Tinka - I think Tina has gotten them ALL correct - she is pretty good!!
and - I enjoyed my breakfast for dinner!! I really need to do that more often..

Tink, not too nosy. He had an opportunity to go with a friend and he loves the culture. It is a trip of a lifetime.
I was really nervous Saturday because a man ran over a lot of people and stabbed people in the Akaharaba District (the technology district) of Tokyo, Japan and my son was there several times. Thank goodness they were not there that day, but I was very worried until I heard from him. I worry too much. Especially when he is so far away.
I am really tired tonight. I was up until three (hence the silliness of teepeeing the room)..
I, alas, have now totally offended Mek and I feel bad about that. Mek, I really am sorry. :( I thought of it because of Big Brother 9 and when they teepee'd the room. I thought it would make people smile. My bad.

Glynis, I'm so sorry about your Dad. I moved from Baltimore a couple of years ago but if I were still there I would go hold your Dad's hand for you. I'm so glad you were able to say goodbye.

Tina You are actually right. There is some soreness to be perfectly honest. And if we were causing earthquakes it would have been pretty much consistantly except for meal breaks. Bwahahaha!!!! We ate three big meals a day and I still lost 3 1/2 pounds, if that gives you any idea of the amount of activity involved.

Good Morning Ibebold - Isn't the weather across the world strange? It is almost ominous.
Good morning Tinka. I am very well this morning. How are you?
IBB: I can't believe some of the things they are showing on the news. And the Today show talked to the family whose house sailed down the river in Wisconsin. I can't imagine what that would be like to have that happen. They have three small children too. My heart and prayers go out to them.
sacbarb- there is a lot of flooding here in WI. There was more than one house that went with the lake into the Wisconsin river. That was an entire 265 acre lake that bust open and drained, taking out homes and a highway.
The interstate between Milwaukee and Madison is closed because of possible flooding from the Rock river.
There are many communities within an hour or 2 from here that are flooded- unbelievable flooding.
We are supposed to get a couple more inches of rain tomorrow night. We are all saying prayers for everyone!
I think a pissed off Mother Nature is right!!

SacBarb - I was thinking of those houses floating down the river and started to feel guilty that I was complaining about the weather. If you listen to "Coast to Coast" radio show in the middle of the night George often has speakers quoting the bible and saying the whole world is in jeopardy. Scary!!!!!!!

bebbi- I know just how you felt. My son was going to college in London when they had the tube stations bombings. One was at the station he used to get to school. I woke up in the morning at a hotel on vacation and almost passed out at the news! He was fine.
