But I believe that everyone has a talent of some kind, most are just too modest to talk about it. Today, don't be shy.....talk about your talents. Maybe you're a painter...or a poet...maybe an excellent cook. Go ahead and tell us what you are really good at...what can you do that you would like people to know about?? I'll start.....I am a great doodler....really. I'm not really an artist...but boy can I doodle to beat the band. So let loose everyone....shout it from the mountaintops....yell it from the roof...what is your talent??

DONNA JEAN...I know it is easy to just say it, but I truly believe that Laurie's surgery will go well and she will be on the road to recovery. But it is scary and we have to remember how scary and hard it is on you, too. I will keep you and Laurie Elizabeth in my prayers, even after you check in after surgery and tell us how well it all went. {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} to you BOTH.

Good Morning Jodi! (And Good Morning Every Other Owl too!)
I've been up since 3:49 a.m., which is earlier than my alarm for once. My allergies were (and are) driving me crazy! I think it's because we let a new cat in the house last night. I already have 5 cats but I've gotten used to them. A wild, feral kitten has been hanging around here for a few weeks and we've been trying to tame him so we can take him to the vet to be "fixed". Well, he is learning to trust us and he came inside for the longest time last night. I've been a mess ever since.
I've showered, dried my hair, had a bowl of cereal & some grapes, drank my "coffee"(Diet Dew), ironed an outfit for the day, emptied trash, started a load of dishes in the dishwasher, fed the cats, medicated myself to the max, and now I'm wasting time on the computer. All this before 5am just isn't natural.
Donna Jean: I hope you see this...I'm thinking of you and Laurie Elizabeth. Your thoughtful post last night really touched me.
Yes, we're all going through hardships here, at one time or another. It's good to know we can come here for love and support.
