Barb, my Zoie does that too! Cracks me up every time!!

I had a great lunch with Jaimie. She always picks a "vegan" place. Today it was very good. I chose breakfast, can't hurt that lol! Kind of missed the bacon though hee hee!
It rained most of the way there. I hate driving by semi s, but worst is being behind them with all the water flying!
I was supposed to call her when I got close, but I was over 30 miles from home when I realized I left my phone on the charger! I hate when I do that, especially when I drive a long way alone. Never fear, I persevered lol!!

Hello Hooters.

I forgot I sent this to Tina. Todd's puppy does something very similar to this dog, but he doesn't cover himself up completely.

Mary, I hate driving anywhere near semi trucks and I hate driving in the rain. I had a roll over accident when a semi clipped me and sent my car shooting across the freeway til it hit the embankment and rolled over...annnnd it was raining! I won't drive next to a truck now. I always hang back until I know I can get all the way past it, then I zoom by it.

J/L, Glad you liked the vid. Are you guys getting smoke in the air from the fires in Oregon? We have had bad air for three days and then yesterday three fires popped up north of us, so it's really bad here.

Barb, that sounds so scary!!! I prolly would have quit driving!! Glad you were not hurt, or were you?

We have a lot of farmers on huge machines around here. Today I went by a big double hay wagon. He tried to stay to the right when I went by , but when he did that the back wagon went the opposite way(my way) I headed for the shoulder fast! whew!

Mary, I didn't get seriously hurt, just a lot of bumps and bruises. It did total my cute little sporty Saturn, however. I really loved that car. I kinda didn't want to drive anymore, but it was after my Hubby passed away and I really had no choice.

It sounds like you had a very close call. Glad you could get out of the way.

HOdi Hope you have a great day and that things go easy at work.

Mary I hate driving by big trucks, too, especially when it's raining and they throw so much water out from under their wheels.

When I was 18 I and living in Southern California, I was going to a job interview and had to drive on the freeway for the very first time. I was very nervous about it and totally focused on what I was doing. As I was passing a big semi, the trucker (who was looking down at me and probably looking at my legs) honked his big horn at me. I about jumped straight up through the roof. LOL

Barb So glad you weren't seriously hurt. That must have been very scary.

Good morning HOoters!!

MARY - It's that time of year again around here, too!! Glad you got by safely!

BARB - Not a fan of that combination, either. But not as bad as my daughter. She FREAKS OUT every time we pass a semi. Maybe she watched Christmas Vacation (with Chevy Chase) one too many times as a kid ;) I just hit the gas on the Pimpala get get passed them!!

P.S. Glad you were ok after rolling your Saturn. And kudos for you for soldiering on ♥

Thanks SLIN!! Yesterday was a piece of cake! The best part of my day was when my boss came in and told me what had happened outside.

I went outside at work today to finish changing our outside trash, when I heard a kitten meowing. It was coming from a Guests car parked at one of my pumps. The woman who owned the car said I can't get the kitten out of my car. I was nervous where exactly this kitten was and if it was ok. Turns out he had gotten himself a safe spot just under the hood, by the battery. I went into the store and grabbed a pair of gloves and then proceeded to get the kitten out if the car. Once he was free showed him to the woman and group of Guests who had gathered to see him. The next thing the woman said to me was, this is a sign from God my husband is currently in hospice care, and I really need someone right now. God is always there when you need him :)

SLIN - Today will be the challenge. I'm doing books at our Central store today. I've worked there before, but the manager is out sick, so another manager and I are stepping in. She will be doing cost counts and I'll do the counter mat and count cash before the store opens. *keeping fingers crossed that it goes well*

20!!!

Just_Lin said...

HOdi That was a neat story about the kitten.

I hope all goes well at the central store today. Like I said before, they are lucky to have you.

SLIN - I survived!! Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Removed all the old sale tags and put up the new, but I never did find the signs to put up!! I had so many guests that asked if I had gotten lost....lol!!!

Woot woot!! Just bought tickets to a production of Les Mis at a local theater. Their show starts when I'm in Indianapolis, so I was thrilled to get tickets for their last show on the 18th. A friend of mine is playing Inspector Javert. I'm taking Jake with me. He will be totally blown away!!

Just_Lin said...

HOdi Glad your work day went so well. As for the theater tickets.....SCORE!!!

Jodi, Cool story about the kitten. Did the lady keep the kitten?

J/L, LOL @ the trucker looking at your legs. He probably was hoping to impress with his big horn, rather than scare you. ;)

Jodi said...

BARB - I think she did! Alex had come into the store to get a box for it, but when he went back out, she wouldn't let it go ♥

SLIN - Should be a really good show. My friend Jace is an incredible actor. He has been on stage all over, even Broadway!!
