Now, asking questions during children's sermons is crucial, but at the same time, asking children questions in front of a congregation can also be very dangerous.
Having asked the children if they knew the meaning of the resurrection, a little boy raised his hand........
The pastor called on him and the little boy said, “I
know that if you have a resurrection that lasts more than four hours you are supposed to call the doctor.”

Dianne The doctor must be assuming that you don't get enough oxygen while you are sleeping. I'm interested in why they did the sleep study again, though. Did they have you wear your current machine for it and see that it wasn't helping you enough?
Sorry about Kayla's foot. Also, too bad about not seeing your GS's. I haven't seem my grandkids in a long time either, With the divorce, visitation and activity schedules, and the fact my son lives a couple hours away, all complicate the issue.

JL...they did the sleep study to see if I needed the CPAP turned up. They seemed to think it was set too low and causing my tiredness.
Went to lunch with my friend that had the double mastectomy only four weeks ago. She is really doing well and driving too.
LOL Dianne. I don't mind being mixed up with Mary...not sure how Mary feels about it. I'm a lot older (and fatter) than she is.
Jodi, Thanks for the voicemail message yesterday. My phone was off because I was at the Community Center watching Sister Act. What a great show! Only one more on our season, we will see Wicked in May. This will be the second time we see this show. I hope it will be as good as the first time.
Hi...today was hair day.
I did a hard thing for me today. I wanted to go shopping for some clothes for my vacation but it's just too hard for me to stand and shop that long (it kills my lower back). I usually order online. I had Louis put the walker I have ith a seat that I've never used in my car last night. I went to the store and I'm not kidding..I sat in front of the store for 20 min deciding if I'd go n with the walker or not. I was really uncomfortable. I finally forced myself and shopped and tried things on and spent a lot of money. It wasn't so bad and not hardly anyone in the small store. It's weird because I can go to walmart and hop in a driving cart and feel ok but this really bothered me. Ok..enough of my true confessions. I did kind of spend too much money but had a coupon and got some great sales. I just wanted tops.
Barb, I loved the show Sister Act too. We've seen Wicked a couple of times. I liked it but think I've seen it enough now.
JL, has the dog doing? Better? What are you what to this weekend?
Actually, what do you all have planned? We have another beautiful warm day tomorrow of 80 but Sunday is a snow watch and 37. Expecting 4" of wet snow. Yuck

The dog is doing well and I noticed a marked improvement just hours after she started her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds.
I went with friends into S.F. to a for Philly Cheese Steaks for dinner. Other than that, no plans for the weekend. I've been tired lately (maybe because I had to get up early 4 days this week) so I do plan on sleeping in.
DIANNE - Glad your friend is doing so well after surgery! And good for you for "going for it" and getting out there to shop. Love me some coupons! I'm taking Jake this weekend to Kohl's. He needs something appropriate to wear to 8th Grade Formal. Thankfully they have their suits separates 40-50% off and I can get Kohl's cash $10 for every $50 spent to go shopping again :)

I work the next 3 days. I would normally have Monday off, but that is our Kwik Clean day. I'm going in super early (2am) to steam clean our cappuccino machines before I do books. Works out kinda nice, because we have our Bowling Banquet Monday night. This way I have Tuesday off. Wheeeeeeeee!!!

Good morning/afternoon, depending on what time zone you are in! I am watching The Terminal with Tom Hanks. I haven't seen it since it first came out and I forgot how good a movie it is. I am doing general clean-up around here today. I keep thinking I should do some heavy duty Spring cleaning, but I'm still just thinking about it. ;)
Barb I've taken a mental inventory of what needs to be done around here but haven't progressed beyond that point.
I'm reading "The Homesman" and it is excellent. I highly recommend it. It will be one of those books that I will hate to be finished with.

Still nice here ..cloudy but warm. Going to listen to my friend in his band tonight fro 5-8. He's the one that's not very good but we go to support him. He thinks he's great. He's the drummer. He's actually the best in the band. :)

Just got home from our Step Niece's b'day party. I have my jammies on, have my coffee ready to go for the morning, and am waiting for Sunway's Show #5 to start on Livestream. I took a nap this afternoon so I could stay up to watch the show. Super fun to watch! I posted a link on my fb if you are interested in watching, too. Well, my granddaughter made cheerleader. I guess they liked her previous performance as she's still in her walking cast and crutches. She's excited. She's moved from Freshman cheer to Junior Varisity.
It's snowing and windy here. It started about noon. We have about three inches nut supposed to stop during the night...more on Thursday.

What a difference a couple of days makes. Temps in the 50's and 60's and it has really greened up around here!

JL..I was at Red Lobster so my soup was Lobster Bisque ..very yummy. The salad has shrimp in it so it's a nice lunch.

It's so nice today and the snow is all gone. I had a nice Long late breakfast with my really good friend and then ventured over to Walmart to get cards for next month and some odds and ends. Even picked up a fe sandwiches for Louis so he'd have some nice dinners down the road. What a sweet wife I am,right?

I had a wonderful trip! So relaxing! My arthritis never showed its ugly face, but I had a terrible time with my right heel. Bone spurs! Now I am home and my aches & pains ae back, I am sure do to the dampness,cold and SNOW!!! I am trying to stay off my feet, but kind of hard when there is so much to do!
It was so good being around such fun peeps! We were like teenagers on spring break lol! I sure was glad I took several hats/caps! The humidity was not good for my thin curly hair!

DIANNE - Well, our little team that was there to have fun, ended up winning the whole season!! I even got recognized from the USBC on having a 400 series and a game over 150!! Hulamoo's were flowing and my prime rib dinner was delicious!! We ended up at our fav local gay bar. It happened to be 1/2 price night. A round that included 2 Jack and cokes and my Hulamoo was only $7.25....score!!

I have to do books with my new boss today. The store she is coming from is not a 24 hr store, so there are differences that she has to learn. Should be interesting, since whenever she has questions doing books, I'm the one she calls! Hoping to get out a couple of hours early today. I'm heading down to LOIS's for the night. I wasn't going to since I have to work Sunday, but it's been since right after Christmas since I've seen her!

HOdi Have fun at Lois'. Are you going to color eggs? Nothing happening here. No family get-together as everyone's doing their own, quiet thing. I had ham not that long ago so I plan on making myself a pot roast for Easter dinner. In fact, I went to the gross-ry store yesterday and got everything I need for the meal but forgot the actual pot roast! Living alone, I haven't made pot roast in a long time and it will be a treat for me.

Had a fun, if early, night with LOIS! We had eaten pizza before we went out Friday night. It wasn't long before it hit my tummy and all I wanted to do was go "home" and curl into a ball. We did get to see Sean Considine (former Raven who played in the 2012 Super Bowl) He was guest bartending at the event we went to. He took pictures with us and his Super Bowl ring!
