Help Line for Men

by Dianne

“Hello, my name is Bob. How can I help you?”

“Hi Bob, I really need your advice on a serious problem. I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs: If the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up. She goes out with ‘the girls’ a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home, but I usually fall asleep.

“Anyway, last night about midnight, I hid in the shed behind the boat. When she came home, she got out of someone’s car buttoning her blouse and then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on.

“It was at that moment, crouched behind the boat, that I noticed a hairline crack in the outboard motor mounting bracket.  Is that something I can weld, or do I need to replace the whole bracket?”

SLIN - Hey pretty lady! Are you all packed for your trip?

BARB - I mentioned a meeting to Milissa a couple of days ago and she nearly lost her shit. I guess I will just keep doing what I do and document all the crap/mistakes she makes. I'm hoping that Kristy will see it (she has access to all our bookwork records). I've put in too much time for her to freak out and take it out on me.

HOdi Nope, not packed. I won't do that until Saturday. I will be doing some laundry before then, though. LOL

As for Mellisa, maybe....just maybe.....she will now try harder to do it right or work problems out on her own instead of being lazy and leaving it for you to fix. On the other hand, you better document everything so you can cover your own ass. If it does turn out that money is missing, you don't want her pointing her finger at you.

SLIN - I got a phone call from Jessica yesterday. She said Milissa thought she was helping by bundling up the drops from 1st shift on Thursday, but she couldn't even count them right! OY!!! Sounds like I have some clean up to do again today :(

HOdi It sounds like Melissa has risen to a position beyond her competence. The place would be a real mess if you weren't there.

Well, I'm packed and ready to go in the morning. It's expected to be about 100* there tomorrow. I am NOT looking forward to that. There may be thunder storms Monday and Tuesday. We shall see. My daughter came and got the dog today. We had went to a local little coffee shop and had breakfast and a nice visit. She took her two dogs and mine for a nice walk before heading home. She lives an hour away. It was strange to be alone here tonight. I discovered that I talk out loud a lot. When the dog's here I don't notice that because it feels like I'm talking to her (and sometimes I really am). LOL

SLIN - Safe travels tomorrow! How long is the flight?

Just_Lin said...

HOdi I'm having my cawfee and trying to get myself in gear. It's a short flight. Just a little over an hour, depending on winds, etc. Today it is expected to be about an hour and 20 minutes.

Have a great trip, JL. The picture of your grandchildren was really nice. They are very nice looking kids. I wouldn't want to be going to 100 degree weather either. Ours is still hitting records for this time of year which is high 80's. It's nice out.

I went to my middle grandsons football game yesterday and my youngest one was there too. It was so wonderful to see them. I miss them so much. Louis went to the high school and watched Tristan's game. Hard when they are at same time. Todd coaches the two younger boys so I got to see him too. His wife was at Tristan's. It was 70's but felt hotter sitting in the sun. I had a long walk to field so took the walker with seat. I'm not thrilled to use it but I can get there without having losing my breath and then it gives me a seat too when I get there.

Went to concert with Tammy Friday night to see Brad Paisley. It was a really good concert and we were very close. He came through the crowd and grabbed my hand. Ahhhh, I was in heaven. I enjoy the country concerts and going with Tammy. We go to,dinner and make a night out of it.

Jodi, Seattle just took the lead...hustle, I want Green Bay to win especially against Seattle. You just need a touchdown to be winning again. We had a good win Thursday night against the Chiefs in the last two minutes.."whew it was close.

Well. It sounds like your work books are a mess and good thing you are there. I agree with JL, document it for your own safety.

Mary, yahoo...are you rested from your trip? Did you go to any other shows besides Santana? I'll probably never get there again. It makes me sad. It's been nine years since my last visit.

Louis's birthday is Tuesdsy and he wants to go to Red Lobster and then we are going to Melting Pot on Sunday with Tammy and her boyfriend. I'm not crazy about either place but especially not the Melting Pot. I'm don't like cooking my own food for all that $$

Guess what?? I made a potato/ham casserole. I put it in freezer for later this week. I've never made it before but it looks good. I'm Susie Homemaker!!

DIANNE - I've seen Brad Paisley just once before. You are so lucky for that touch!!! And as far as documentation is concerned, I'm doing more so our District Leader can see who is making the mistakes, since Milissa won't consider a meeting with her. And look at you, cooking and shit! Proud of you ๐Ÿ’›
