Marriage in Heaven

by Dianne

On their way to be married, a young couple was killed in a car accident.  The couple found themselves sitting outside the Pearly Gates waiting for St. Peter to process them into Heaven.  While waiting, they begin to wonder: could they possibly be married in Heaven?

When St. Peter showed up, they asked him. St. Peter said, "I don't know. This is the first time anyone has asked.  Let me go find out," and he left.

The couple sat and waited, and waited.  Two months passed and they were still waiting.   As they waited, they discussed two questions.

If they were to be married in Heaven, what would be the eternal aspect of it all?

What if the marriage doesn't work, they wondered.  Will we be stuck together FOREVER?

After yet another month, St. Peter finally returned, looking somewhat bedraggled.

"Yes," he informed the couple, "you CAN be married in Heaven."

"Great!" said the couple,  "But we were just wondering.  What if things don't work out?   Can we also get a divorce in Heaven?"

St. Peter, red-faced with anger, slammed his clipboard onto the ground.

"What's wrong?" asked the frightened couple.

"OH, COME ON!" St. Peter shouted, "It took me three months to find a PRIEST up here!  Do you have ANY idea how long it'll take me to find a LAWYER?"

We had our Kwik Clean judging today. We got a 98.33. Would've gotten a point more, but someone didn't check all the dates in the fresh case. Ugh!!! So frustrating. Oh, well....at least that is done til spring!! We have our first night of bowling for the season tonight. I am subbing again for Alex's team. Thankfully I have tomorrow off. It's been a long weekend of work. The weather is going to be gorgeous this week. Sunny with temps in the mid to high 70's!!

Hellooooo! That was funny Dianne!

Hodi, good thing you are young and full of energy lol! Jim is in his 3rd week bowling. He missed last week because we were in Vegas.

Speaking of Vegas, I swear it takes more out of me than my trips to Europe lol!
I loved seeing Santana, but it almost killed me! All tickets that were left were "standing room only". I had already walked a ways to the Harrah's Casino Tram that only went as far as the MGM Casino, walked the bridge across to New York New York then took a small tram to Mandalay Bay where I had to go, which is the very last Casino on the strip! I then stood in line for over an hr to be sure I got a decent place to stand, waited an hour in there for the show to start which lasted over 2 hrs! I purposely stood in front of the stage so I could lean on the guard rail and put one foot on the lower rail. It was a small night club set up, so seats went pretty fast. You can bet I took a cab back to our hotel! Cost me $15, but I was beyond caring lol!

Hi..whoa, very quiet. Jodi, your weather sounds like ours this week. I love it too and it's so pretty out with our colors changing.
I went to the darn dentist today to get my bridge installed and ending up getting five shots and another impression done on one side. No what I was barginning for and then yesterday I went in for a simple echo heart test and found out there was an extra test ordered that required finding a vein for an IV again. I about sh.....! Luckily after the first stick, she went in where they did last week and found one! Yea
I don't get any of these results until the 30th. Tomorrow I have a nice WW day with lunch with my friend...NO NEEDLES.

GOOD job on your judging. 98.33 is a darn good score. How was bowling? Tammy is on two leagues during the week now. Her boyfriend is a bowler. She Even purchased her own ball.

Barb, where are u? Mary ? I know where JL is but you other two are missing and I miss you.

Wow Mary, you are quite the walker and then to stand for a whole concert. I got exhausted reading your venture. You are young and full of energy too. I could never do that for years. I'm glad you had a good time. Do you like to bowl too? Now when is the next trip planned somewhere? I'm going with Louis overnight Thursday to Pueblo, which is about 2-1/2 hours away. He has a meeting Friday and I have a friend down there I'm going to meet for a long lunch. I don't have anything else planned until May and then we cruise to Bermuda. My family from Texas will be here the first week of October for four days for a girls trip so that will be fun. They are staying with Tammy.

Dianne, I used to bowl until my knee sugary. I was not good at it lol!
I have no travel plans for the rest of this year. I will be going with a butch of friends in May to Riviera Maya, Mex. for 7 days. It is all inclusive. I would really rather go on a cruise, but no one to go with (that has their own money lol! )

I have never been to Bermuda. I can't wait to see your pics! Get pics from Pueblo! Is that in CO.?
Well, I am heading to bed. Nite :)
