Basic Laws of ............

by Dianne

1 . Law of Mechanical Repair
After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch and you'll have to pee.

2. Law of Gravity
Any tool, nut, bolt, screw, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible place in the universe.

3. Law of Probability
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act.

4. Law of Random Numbers
If you dial the wrong number, you never get a busy signal; someone always answers.

5. Variation Law
If you change lines (or traffic lanes), the one you were in will always move faster than the one you are in now.

6. Law of the  Bath
When the body is fully immersed in water, the telephone will ring.

7. Law of Close Encounters
The probability of meeting someone you know INCREASES dramatically when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with.

8. Law of the Result
When you try to prove to someone that a machine won't work, IT WILL!!!

10. Law of the Theater & Hockey Arena - At any event, the people whose seats are the furthest
from the aisle, always arrive last.  They are the ones who will leave their seats several times to go for food, beer, or the toilet and who leave early before the end of the performance or the game is over.
The folks in the aisle seats come early, never move once, have long legs or big bellies and stay to the bitter end of the performance. The aisle people also are very surly folk.

11.The Coffee Law
As soon as you sit down to a cup of hot coffee, your boss will ask you to do something which will last until the coffee is cold.

12. Murphy's Law of Lockers - If there are only 2 people in a locker room, they will have adjacent lockers.

13. Law of Physical Surfaces - The chances of an open-faced jelly sandwich landing face down on a floor are directly correlated to the newness and cost of the carpet or rug.

14. Law of Logical Argument
Anything is possible IF you don't know what you are talking about.

15. Law of Physical Appearance
If the clothes fit, they're ugly.

16.Law of Public Speaking
A CLOSED MOUTH GATHERS NO FEET!

17. Law of Commercial Marketing Strategy
As soon as you find a product that you really like, they will stop making it, OR the store will stop selling it!

18. Doctors' Law
If you don't feel well, make an appointment to go to the doctor, by the time you get there, you'll feel better. But don't make an appointment and you'll stay sick.

Dianne Thanks for the blog. I want to add that the Variation Law is also in play at the grocery store. It seems that I will get in the line very often that either has the slowest checker or the customer at the checkout has some problem that has to be rectified. Also, The Law of the Bath is much like The Law of the Toilet. That's the one that happens to me. I take showers, not baths, so the phone may ring while I'm in there but I don't hear it.

Barb The areas that Chad has power washed are looking really good. I was noticing on my deck that I have some lichen growing on it. I can pull the tufts off my hand but there are areas on the outside of the rails that I can't reach well. I think power washing would work. I will have to hire someone to do that.

Mary I wish I liked working out in the yard but I just don't. Today would be a beautiful day for it. We finally have sunshine after having days of overcast, gray, cold weather. I hope no one drove here on Memorial Day to enjoy the beach because they would have been disappointed unless they brought parkas and scarves.

Hello! Moving day I see lol!
Dianne, those were funny! I can relate to most.
I hope your back is giving you a break today. How is Louis?

Just_Lin, I tend to get carried away outside. I have to remind myself that I am no spring chicken lol! I have a couple of hrs of weed pulling yet to do and then spreading some bags of mulch. I want it done before we go to Vegas.

Barb, We have a power washer. We have a lot of things that can use a good washing, like our garage and deck. Jim just doesn't seem to have the energy to use it. It has been sitting for at least 20 yrs! The last time he used it I think he destroyed something, so that may have something to do with it lol!!!

J/L, I have the same issue with lines. I rarely go into the bank, but I had to go in last week and even though there was only one line that was moving rather quickly, by the time I was first in line, two of the three tellers left their station and the person in front of me had some issue that seemed to take forever.

Mary, I really don’t like to do yard work. Early in my marriage, my husband and I divided up duties and he did outside and I did inside. Occasionally one of us would help the other one, but mostly we stuck to our assigned chores. I have a gardener who mows and blows, and will pull weeds and trim vines and bushes, but he doesn’t do anything that requires water. Hence, the condition of the cement all around my house. I used to keep it up after my husband dies, but I haven’t been able to do it for the last 5 or 6 years. I’m so happy Chad is doing it.

sacBarb said...

Dianne, thanks for continuing to send the blogs to Tina. This one is particularly relevant. You haven’t mentioned Kayla lately. How is she doing? I see Emilee graduated high school. Is she planning to go to college?

Dianne said...

Hi..
Barb, that was a memory picture of em. She just finished her first year at Metro University here in Denver. She did really well. Kayla is still is still interning at a beauty salon and seems to really like it although I think she misses a little too much work..sick. She is still with the same boy from two years ago. He’s ok. Jake got out of jail a couple of weeks ago and tried to contact her when he wen back to jail but she didn’t answer the phone. His grandmother texted her about him and she didn’t respond. Why she wont block the number is beyond me. She will be 21 in October but needs to get more responsible. Her sister is the opposite.

JL, I don’t like yard work at all either. My dad made us do it growing up and I hated it. He made me not like decorating a Christmas tree either as in those days the tinsel had to be hung one piece at a time with a lot of boxes. I enjoy the tree though...looking at it. Barb and I are going to see Rocketman on Sunday. It looks kind of interesting. On Saturday going to my nieces bbq/wedding shower. It's at Andy and Wendy’s new house so my and his family won’t come since it's being held there....dumb!

Mary, my back is painful every day now. It’s been hurting for a year now. Louis is doing really good...thanks for asking. What are you up To? Have you started packing Yet? What day do you leave? I’ll bet you are getting anxious.

Mary/MI said...

Dianne, Yes I am getting excited about Vegas. We Not exactly where I would like to travel, but I am ready to go anywhere lol!
Sorry about your back. That sucks! I have been there when I worked at General Motors.I would take many Valium pills. They didn't do a thing for the pain! Only laying down & stretching out helped. I would ask for potty breaks and lay down on a bench in the bathroom...crying. I am so glad to be out of there. They paid very well, but it took it's tole on my body.
I am glad Louis is doing well.

Barb, Jim & I had an unspoken rule. I did the inside stuff, he dealt with the outside stuff. Works if he holds u p his end lol. Matthew does most of it.

Just_Lin, We have had rain & cold weather. Today there is sunshine and in the high 70s
Looks like a nice week coming up. I would be disappointed if I had gone to the beach and had to wear warm cloths. Well, with my body, that may have been a good thing lol!!

Hey, I forgot to mention our new family members! I am sure you have seen the twins pics. They are my son Tony's, sons, Logans, twins. Whew, that was a mouth full of punctuations! Prolly not even right lol!
I won't be seeing them for a while. Logan is stationed in Washington with the Airforce.

Later.....

Dianne said...

Mary....congratulations. That’s very nice exciting. Are these your first great grandchildren? I’m counting on my niece that’s getting married to increase our family. I’m not quite ready for the grandchildren to produce yet! The twins look adorable on fb. I guess they knew they were having twins? Remind me where tony lives. That’s sounds terrible about your back when you were working. How long have you been retired? I retired when I was 60 so 12 years.

I’m trying to change our ins up we got rejected yesterday on our homeowners because of the garage door and the laundry flood last year. I was shocked but I guess since they were in the same year it’s an issue. Today was nail day..tomorrow hair. It seems like since I had it highlighted last month the outgrown doesn’t seem so much. Thank could probably sit another week but I want it done for the bbq/shower tomorrow.

Mary Your great granddaughters are beautiful! How exciting to have twins! Do they run in your family or in the mother's family? They're going to have their hands full with three little ones. It tires me out just thinking about it.

Today we are having blue skies and sunshine although I do see a marine layer hanging over the ocean. As long as it doesn't come inland one mile, it will remain very nice here, mid 70's. I took the opportunity to give the dog a bath. What this entails is her chasing the water coming from the hose. During this process she ends up sopping wet so then I soap her up. She then chases the water again until she is finally all rinsed off. LOL I end up pretty wet, too, at least from the knees down.

Just_Lin said...

I am shocked that your homeowner insurance dropped you. It makes no sense. This is why we pay premiums. I know they must be taking a bath, what with all the fire claims last year and all the bad weather catastrophes, flooding, etc. I hope you find other coverage that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It seems most, if not all, of the major insurers won't cover you at all if you have certain breeds of dogs. This is bullsh*t as far as I'm concerned. I'm fortunate to have coverage because I'm keeping my mouth shut. Nuf said.

I hope you are enjoying the wedding shower. So silly that your son and his family won't attend. I wonder if that is mostly the DIL's doing.

I'm sorry your back is giving you so much trouble. My back has been bothering me more than usual lately. I think when I sit on the couch to watch a movie, I may end up slumping a bit and then I pay for it the next day. I need to be more aware of my posture. Oh, and I'm sure weight loss would help a lot, too.

Dianne The above comment was for you. I don't know where your name went as i remember I did type it. Oh, and the deleted comment was me.

Barb Yesterday it was quite busy at Safeway so I chose my line carefully. It was a line with one of the better checkers. Anyway, the woman in from of me was wearing a burqa. Okay, that's fine but then when it was her turn to put her items on the counter and she was standing off to the side of the cart, I could see she had placed the checker's "Sorry, this lane closed" sign in the upper basket of her cart. Argh!

I read somewhere (probably People Magazine) that Kaitlyn Bristowe is now with Jason Tartick. There's something about Kaitlyn that I find off-putting. I remember likging the Jason guy, though.

Just_Lin, Twins run in the Mother's family. I am thinking that washing your dog would come under the column of "extreme exercise" lol
We are having huge thunder boomers and of & on Rain showers. Right now I have no idea where Zoie is. Prolly under one of the beds. I stayed outside under the house's short
over hang. I love hearing the rain and the thunder doesn't bother me if it's far off. When I came Zoie was nowhere. .. She just showed up lol. She ran upstairs to Matthew and was sleeping in his lap. He usually keeps his door shut.

Dianne, Don't feel dumb. I actually told Jim this afternoon that " I am officially (from my bloodline) a Great Grandma Big Duh lol!!! Jim reminded me of my sweet Everleigh, the twins sister. I swear I am getting senile!
Logan is in the Air force and stationed in the state of Washington. I may not see them for a while. Thank goodness for F

Oh Barb, yoohoo! Don't wait until you-know-who, comes looking to nudge you!!

Hi...JL, my homeowners didn't cancel us. I’m trying to change as I need loss assessment coverage and our current ins doesn’t offer it so I applied with a broker friend of mine that shopped around and we were turned down at other places because if having two claims in a year on house. I’ll have to stay with ours and pray the association doesn’t have an assessment for something. Just irritates me when we’ve had ins forever with a good history.

We had a very nice time at Joanna’s shower/bbq. Andy and wendy had a bbq truck with great food to feed everyone. The weather was good too. It rained bad before bbq. Yes, it’s a shame my son isn’t at family things if Andy is involved. My DIL had an argument with Andy over ten years ago and will not move on. My son does not like that we all still do things with Andy but we love him still and Tammy, James and the girls are involved plus Wendy and I’ve been friends for 20 years. It will never change. It’s sad for the kids not to see each other as much anymore.

I’m struggling with losing anymore weight. I’m up and down. I need to try harder

Dianne said...

Mary, what a pretty name your great granddaughter has...Ive never heard it before used with anyone. If I was at your house I’d be with zoie...not on your sons lap (well maybe) but under the bed. I hate thunder, lightening and hail. It scares me to death with all that noise. We drove in heavy rain for about 15 min today. I’d rather drive in the snow. I was very glad Louis was driving!

Barb.....hello...I’ll be the old nudge dance pretty soon

Dianne said...

Went to see Rocketman about Elton John and it was very interesting and good. I didn’t know if I’d like it but it’s a win. The lady two seats down from me was snoring her head off. Her friend had to keep nudging her. I felt like asking her afterwards is she had a good nap. Barb and I went for Chinese food afterwards. There’s a movie coming out called Judy. It’s about the life of Judy Garland. Renee Zellwegger is playing Judy. I for sure will go and see it when it comes out. That’s about it from out here

Mary/MI said...

Dianne, I lol, at the lady snoring at the movie. I guess it wasn't keeping her interested.
Yesterday I got my mani/pedi while Zoie got groomed. Girls day out!
Zoie has been overly clingy this week. She knows when the luggage comes out, something is up! I am already having separation anxiety lol!!
I see it will be in the low 100s in Vegas next week! Here in Mich. we will finally be having 3 dry, sunny, warm days in a row! Woopie!!

This is Matthew's last week of driving school bus. School is out yay! Works out great so he can house & dog sit. He has applied for a different school route nearer to us. It is mostly a German/farming town. The kids I am hoping are a lot more disciplined! This school offers a higher wage with health care and a 401 plan. The health care cinched it for him.

My other son Tony has been retired for 2 yrs and is bored! I had to laugh when he said he need a part time job....one that allowed him to go fishing and hunting when ever he wanted! LOL!!

Dianne said...

Mary, that would be great if Matthew was able to get a different job with benefits and more money. How old is tony? He must have retired young. Low 100’s sounds just a little too hot for me. We’re having high 70’s but thunder storms every afternoon and I’m always worried about hail.

Tammy and I are going to Garth Saturday night. It’s at bronco stadium and I talked her into going snd now I don’t want to go. 80,000 tickets sold snd parking will be horrible. We bought a parking pass but we have to go in the afternoon for parking. She won’t even let me give my ticket away since we are in handicap and since it was my idea. We have a wheelchair spot. I didn’t realize I had to go in the afternoon and maybe get hailed on!

I’m not feeling very well today. Got sick this am and just haven’t felt right all day. I canceled dinner with the kids and slept instead.

Dianne said...

I’m getting in the nudging mood

Mary/MI said...

Dianne, I am Sorry you are feeling bad. Rest is best! Yikes, 80,000 tickets! I love Garth, but not that much lol!
I remember as a teenager, buying tickets for the Beatles way ahead of time. We were
being taken by a neighbor all the way to Chicago, which was foreign for my sis and I lol! Anyway, by the time came to go, I didn't feel so "teenager" anymore and didn't feel like going. I went anyway and had a good time. I never really heard them sing, for all the non stop screaming!

I have been cleaning house, washing clothes, ironing, shopping and packing, so don't nag at me lol!!

Just_Lin said...

Dianne Here I am! Now you only have to nudge Barb.

I'm sorry you were sick yesterday. Are you feeling better now? Some days I just wake up feeling "blah" for no particular reason that I know of. Maybe I just want a "lazy" day.

I just made a hair appointment with a new hairdresser. Well, I kind of know her as she is the owner of the local salon I've been going to but my regular hairdresser has decided to change to working out of a place in San Francisco and I really am not wanting to follow her there. Anyway, my regular hairdresser had really been getting on my nerves lately, anyway, and had become unreliable ever since she moved in with her boyfriend in San Francisco.

Speaking of hair.... The other day in the shower, I accidentally washed my hair with my Olay body wash. I realized what I had done while I was still washing it but decided "what the heck, let's see what happens". Well, my hair came out better than it had in quite a while. Maybe I should do that more often. LOL

Maybe you should take an umbrella with you to the concert just in case of hail. Garth is the only country star that I would go see in person. It probably won't hail and you'll have a good time.

Just_Lin said...

Mary That would be great if Matthew could get a bus route closer to home. More money and benefits would certainly be good and now he has the summer to recuperate from having to put up with the little brats.

Your son Tony must have retired at a young age. Maybe he would like to volunteer somewhere to keep him busy but still have some freedom. My daughter has been volunteering on Saturday mornings at a wildlife rehab place and she's really enjoying it a lot. She'll be moving to Oregon soon and hoping there's a similar type place where she can volunteer there.

I forgot when it is that you leave for Vegas but I'm wishing you good luck.

Just_Lin said...

Barb What are you up to? Yesterday was nice here but today we are back to "June Gloom". That's life on the coast. This kind of weather makes me just want to stay inside.

I used to really love the show "The Good Wife" and was disappointed that the subsequent show "The Good Fight" was only available on CBS Access which I didn't want to pay for. Well, I now see ads that Season One is going to air on regular CBS beginning June 16. Yay! The new season of "Endeavor' also starts on the 16th on PBS. I'm looking forward to that, too. I really like most British detective shows.

Mary/MI said...

Just_Lin, I love all British shows! I watch a lot of them on PBS.
We leave for Vegas this coming Mon.& home on Fri. Thanks for the good luck wi$he$ :)

Matthew has only a half of school day tomorrow and he is done. He said he had a little girl on his bus cry all the way home. He said she started when he announce that he would not be coming back next year. He stopped the bus to check on her and asked why she was crying, she blubbered "because you won't be coming back!" I told him that was sweet.

Dianne, you don’t have to nudge too hard! I was busy counting iPhone cases. I wish I had an iPhone 7, some of those cases are really pretty and lots of bling, too. Thanks so much for sending them for Jennifer. She will be back from Fresno in about 10 days.
I think it’s nice that you’re still friendly with Andy. I have stayed friendly with Dean’s ex especially because she is Josh’s mom and She had control of who could see him when he wasn’t with Dean.

sacBarb said...

Mary, I hope you win lots of $$$ in LV. It’s going to be hot, but the hotels have good A/C. I hope Matthew gets that job closer to home. Has he already quit the other job? Your great grandbabies are cute. Are they identical twins or fraternal?

sacBarb said...

J/L, It’s warming up here. Yesterday it was 95. Chad is not used to the heat. People in WA complain when it gets into the high 70’s. I remember Kaitlin Bristow, but I had to look up Jason. They make an interesting couple. I wonder how long it will last. I never liked her.

Mary/MI said...

Hi Barb! The twins are fraternal.
Matthew gave his notice and has been signed up at the new position. He seems happy with his decision. He came home with some nice thank-you cards and a few gifts. Some farmer/family, gave them all homemade pancake mix, syrup, and salsa.

I go to Vegas with no high expectations on winning big lol. I don't get let down that way :) I will enjoy relaxing and having others clean my room and feed me.
It was a long winter here. I will welcome the hot weather!

We have had a male cardinal pecking at our window for a few days. Driving us and Zoie crazy! It sees its reflection and for some reason it keeps hanging around, pecking away!
Jim had a friend stop by, (not Max lol). Jim told him about the cardinal. He says it's because he has lost his mate :( Not sure if it is true. A friend of mine in Lansing is having the same problem!

Dianne said...

Hi....the concert was wonderful. The weather held out with just a couple of sprinkles, parking pass worked perfect and seats were great. Handicap seats at concerts are always good ones. The opening act was good also. We tailgated in parking lot for about an hour or so eating our jimmy johns sandwiches and drinks. They drank ..me water until I had my 1/2 yard pina colada for $17 at the show. It was worth it. We went with another couple were friends with..actually Tammy’s friends. 84,000 people and it was done very well. The show was being recorded for a future presentation. 84,000 of us sang friends in low places pretty darn good. Tammy drove my car. I do really love concerts but probably won’t do another stadium one now that I’ve actually experienced it. Now time for some sleep

Just_Lin said...

Barb I complain when it gets into the high 70's, too. We just aren't used to heat here. Speaking of which......Today is going to be a scorcher. It's not even 10 a.m. and my outdoor thermometer reads 84*. There's a little bit of a breeze but it's a warm one.

I had my hair appointment with the new hairdresser yesterday. She's the owner of the salon and I came to learn that the real reason that my former hairdresser left is because she was kicked out after not paying rent for her station for 3 months. Also, I am told that she and the boyfriend she is living with are doing heroin and living in some fleabag hotel in S.F. I got very emotionally upset over this news. She's a beautiful young woman and couldn't be sweeter. She has a habit of choosing guys that are losers and abusive. I don't know if this current guy is abusive or not but she is on a major downward spiral and I am scared for her. Her family has offered to pay for a rehab facility but so far she is not going for it. Her behavior in recent months (cancelling appointments or being late for appointments) had already lost her a lot of clients. Anyway, I am still in a really sad mood over this. I don't see this ending well at all.

Just_Lin said...

Mary Maybe your cardinal sees that reflection in the window and thinks to itself, What a beautiful bird! I'm in love!". LOL My brother used to have trouble with birds coming and picking apart the screen on a bedroom window. Apparently, they thought it made really good nesting material.

How really sweet that Matthew got cards and gifts on his last day. They all must have really liked him a lot. I bet he's really looking forward to being able to work closer to home next time, especially during difficult driving weather.

Just_Lin said...

Dianne I'm so glad you had such a good time at the concert and all that worrying about weather and parking was for naught. That's a big stadium but I guess that's the only way to see the really big stars in person. It must take a long time to get out of there once the concert is over and a long time to get out of the parking lot, too. That drink you had sure looked tasty. Maybe I'll end up seeing the same concert if it ever airs on HBO or something.

So, I just saw on the news today that another woman fell overboard from a cruise ship. I don't for the life of me understand how this happens unless the person is climbing on something they shouldn't be. How very, very stupid.

Just_Lin said...

Interloper on the blog. I've asked Dianne to alert Tina.

Dianne said...

I let Tina know so she can block it or however she handles things.

JL, you are really having some heat. I didn’t think it ever got that hot where you live. Has it started cooling off yet? Do you have air conditioning? It was 80 here today with a nice breeze. I still have the air running. That’s sad about your hairdresser. It brings back bad memories. Speaking of....Jake called Kayla from jail again the other night but she didn’t answer. She won’t change her number and now it’s on her business cards. There’s no listening to us, that’s for Sure! We got out of the stadium ok the other night as we left during the encore. We usually don’t but tam had a 5k she was doing at 6:30 the next morning and didn’t want to get caught in all those people so we had no problems getting out. I don’t get how a person can go overboard on a cruise either. They have to be climbing and or drunk. I didn’t see that article.

Mary, are you winning out there? Have you gone to the show yet? I’ll bet you’re not cold there, are you? Hope you and Jim are having a great time.

Barb, I agree with you staying friendly with the kids parents..married or not. My dad was very close to my kids dad and he used to say it wasn’t him that got divorced. I’ve cared about Andy for 22 years..you just don’t forget those years.

sacBarb said...

Mary, Happy for Matthew and his new job. He’ll be happier about working closer to home. How nice that he got going away cards and gifts.
We don’t see cardinals here. Most of our birds are boring colors. We do have pretty humming birds. I have to get a new feeder because the one I had broke when we had a strong wind a week ago.

sacBarb said...

J/L, That’s very sad about your hairdresser. I understand why you are so upset about it. How long had she been doing your hair? I have become emotionally attached to my hairdresser and my manicurist after going to them for so many years. Steven has been doing my hair for over 10 years. After I had be going to him for about five years, he moved to Hawaii for his wife’s health and I was devastated. It turned out that his wife wasn’t much better there, and because it was so expensive to live there, he came back after a year. I, along with most of his other Sacramento clients, were very happy. Now he has some health issues, and I worry he will retire. He is in his early 50s and says he can’t afford to retire, but I see that he is slowing down. It takes him longer to do a base color and highlights now. And Sheenah has just turned 65. I worry about her retiring, too. I have been going to her since 1985. I know there are more important things to worry about, but...

Mary Welcome home! Did you return with your pockets overflowing with casino winnings? It looked like you had really nice seats for the Diana concert Sorry that you had a large guy next to you taking up part of your space. I guess the only thing worse would be a tall person in front of you wearing a hat. Otherwise, was your flight and everything else okay?

Thinking about Diana Ross reminded me of a time back in the 70's when I went into SF several times to see a touring female impersonator show called "French Dressing". A performances I remember the most are the ones in Diana's persona and the Bette Midler and Cher ones. I guess you're really an icon when female impersonators are impersonating you. LOL

Barb Yay for cool weather! The temps dropped significantly due to our fog and drizzle during the mornings and evenings. I was really done with that hot weather. It's so freakish to have that kind of heat here. The older I get, the more difficult it is for me to tolerate it. It was pleasant outside in the evening, though. It reminded me of summer nights when growing up in Southern California. I imagine you have those kinds of summer nights where you are.

I'd been seeing the hairdresser Christina since '08. I had started with someone else in that salon but after seeing him for less than a year, he committed suicide. It was a shock to everyone. Anyway, then I started going to Christina and I have followed her to 3 different places since then. I went back to my hairdress, Kris, yesterday for adjustments to the cut she gave me a week ago. This is going to be a learning curve. My hair isn't quite "right" but we'll get there.

Just_Lin said...

Dianne The situation with the hairdresser absolutely breaks my heart. She's such a sweet young woman (mid 30's) and I'm really afraid for her. As we both know, she can't be forced to change the situation. Help is there when she is ready. I just hope she accepts it.

It's hard to fathom why Jake-ass's grandmother calls Kayla. Either she's a crap person just like Jake is or she is bullied by him and she finds it easier to do what he asks than to take on his wrath. As for Jake..... You really only have Kayla's word that she doesn't accept his calls. If she was sure she wanted rid of him, she would have changed her number. I hate to point that out but you know that already. Sorry to be such a downer.

Hello friends.....Well, hows everyone doing? Went up in the close mountains about an hour away for lunch with barb. It was a nice drive. We had a good lunch and visit and nice weather. Going to my uncles bbq tomorrow afternoon. Louis's daughter sent an edible fruit selection to us or him for father’s day. I like those chocolate covered bananas. Hey, it’s fruit!

Mary, are you just hanging out counting your Winnings? Sounds like you had a nice visit. I must have missed your comment about the guy next to you at the show. I wouldn’t come looking for you when I knew where you were and what you’re doing. You were safer from my nudges.

JL, yes, you are so right about Kayla and that’s why I’m always holding my breath with her. I simply don’t understand the fascination about such a loser. I think grma is crazy like him. Kayla tells me how “nice” she is, etc...changing topics... When we were in Branson we went to a show called legends. There was a Diana Ross there too but she was a woman. She was pretty good. I’ll bet you are glad to be rid of that heat.

Barb, hmm, I wonder what I left. I’ve been missing my Walmart card but finally canceled it as I can’t find it anywhere. You might mention to Jennifer to check for it and if she finds it just cut it up. IM glad she liked all the phone cases. Funny that her husband has a 7 phone but he for sure wont like those cases. I still think I should have sent the Bronco one. Maybe I would have converted him!

A State Trooper was killed by another car that hit him while he was at another accident was James’s cousin. He was only 37 with a wife. It’s so sad.

Well.... night all
