A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while
they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little
girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, 'I'm
drawing God.’
The teacher paused and
said, 'But no one knows what God looks like.’
Without missing a beat,
or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, 'They will in a minute.’

I don't understand the point of this particular blog and find it in really bad taste since 19 children were gunned down in their school yesterday. Very bad timing.

Hi all….haven’t. Heard from everyone for some time. How r u all doing today? It’s been a sad week with the news in Texas. So horrible. Let’s think of something that will make us smile. Mary, I see you went to a wedding today. Was it fun? What did u wear? A dress? I went to my little great nieces second bday party. She got toys, clothes and kiddy jewelry. She wears hair ties for bracelets. She was so cute. She’s almost saying aunt Di for me. It was at a park which was perfect plus a playground there too. Louis had his back shots wed but no relief yet. I finally got mine scheduled..again…for the 6th. I sure hope they work for us as we can hardly walk. The walker helps me a lot but makes me so old with oxygen and walker. We’re having really nice weather. Finally summer. I want to go n a vacation. My friend leaves for hawaii next week, Tammy and group leave for Mexico next week and a man we know my friend that passed away going on his first cruise the first of June. I think it will be good for him to get away for awhile.
That’s about all I have tonight. Hope to hear from all of you❤️

Dianne, I didn't wear a dress this time. My knee gets all swollen and ugly when on my feet too long. It was a nice wedding. There were fresh roses on every table. The bride had a beautiful dress with a sparkling veil It it shimmered a lot, not tacky lol!
I am sorry Louis's shots are helping. I sure hope yours is successful!
I too am itching for a vaca. I was considering going to Amboy to Louis's Birthday party, but it is just too far away to go where I will not know many people.
I get my hair did Thursday. None too soon! I have a Birthday party and two open houses to attend this week end, plus lunch with my retired friends next week.

Justlin, How have you been doing? Is your sciatic still bothering you? My latest aches are in my hips! Also I have had a lot of "fluttering" just below my boobs I think, from my stomach area. It is worse when I lay down. I hate going to the Dr., but I may if it persists.

Mary. It was me, not Barb, who posted the prom photo. I didn't go to my own prom, just to Craig's at another high school. He was a year older than me. Before the prom, we went to a dinner show with a few other couples that I didn't know. The entertainment was Mort Sahl. Sahl was very political and most of what he said went over my head. Otherwise, it was a fun night. There was an all-nighter for the class. It was a train ride to San Diego and luau and Hawaiian entertainment. Oh, and a breakfast at the school upon our return. This must have all happened on two different nights but I can't remember.
I hurt myself carrying things, too. My lower back has not been happy at all. I've also been gimpy due to some pain in the arch of my foot. Weird things happen to us when we age.
I get my hair cut on Friday and I really need it. I need to get my nails done, too, before going to Oregon next week to visit my daughter. First time on a plane since the pandemic. Yikes!
Dianne, I'm so sorry the shotven't helped Louis with his pain. I sure hope you have better luck.
Where is your friend going on his first cruise. My friend and her husband and 2 other couples went on an Alaska cruise in early May. It was one of the couple's first cruise and it was crappy, rainy, cold weather. My first cruise I ever went on was in early May and it was beautiful weather. My friends did not get COVID on the trip but one half of each of the other couples did. Hmmm. LOL. Fortunately, their symptoms weren't too bad. Everyone was vaccinated and boosted. When I fly to Oregon next week, I plan to wear my mask in the airports and on the plane even though it makes breathing a little more difficult.
I don't usually comment here using my phone so I hope there aren't too many typos.

Well, louis shots started working on Sunday. He’s still slow but he says no pan in his back. It’s like a miracle. I pray so much that I will react the same. It took four days for his to kick in and I’m so happy for him. I don’t know what I’ll do if they don’t work as I’m really not up for back surgery. We went to Lydia’s two year birthday Saturday. You all may have seen some of my pictures on FB. She’s so darn cute. She’s learning slowly to say Aunt Di…

JL, my friend who’s the husband of my deceased good friend….he’s going to,Alaska. I hope they have nice weather. We’ve been there two or three times and luckily always had nice weather. Scary about the cobid but my uncle and wife were just exposed to so they are staying home for ten days just in case. I’m not really afraid to go on the cruise. Hope I don’t regret saying that statement.
When do you leave for your daughters? How long will you be there? Any planS yet? That will be a fun trip. Hope you have great weather. Have you been there before to that area?
Mary, I just got my hair highlites, etc., last week. I was able to keep the style in for three days. I wish I could style like she does it. Sounds like you have some fun planned. Who’s birthday was it in Amboy? You said Louis’s. You’d better take it easy lifting things. Come here and visit. You’d have to sleep with louis …hope that would be ok. He’s harmless.
Barb and Bev, if you know how try and do what tina said to do. I have no idea what it even means. Ok louis said for you to,on your browser and ask how do you clear cache on your browser and see if that works. Let me know. He said sometimes when you type in an address it already fills it to what you’ve done before and maybe it needs it typed in new but check with your browser.

I watched the Avs our hockey team tonight. I’ve gotten kind of into it as we are doing pretty good in the playoffs. I don’t usually watch them but I’m in the living room all the time now as it’s too painful to lay on the bed. I’m ending up watching things I don’t usually watch. We take turns between tv and music.
Did I tell you all that I once again joined weight watchers again. I got a good promotional price. I guess I mostly go to get weighed…dumb. I did go to primary last week for weight check and blood pressure check well, my weight had gone down and blood pressure was perfect! That was a good Dr appt for once.

Yayyyy! It worked. Thanks Mary! I think you should go visit Dianne, even if you do have to sleep with Louis, as long as he’s harmless! LOL Just don’t tell Jim. You are such s busy bee with all your social engagements. I hope they are all outside so there isn’t as much danger of getting COVID.
Dianne, I’m glad the shots are finally working for Louis. I hope he’s feeling better. I hop you’re feeling better, too. My husband was a big sports fan and we had season tickets to the Sharks hockey games. They were fun. I didn’t keep them after he died because it’s a two hour drive to San Jose and I don’t like driving that much, and the kids didn’t want to drive that far.
JL, Are you in Oregon, now. How long are you staying? Todd wants me to go to San Diego, but I don’t want to get on a plane yet. I’m still not comfortable around a lot of people. I’m looking for a new hairdresser, since my former hairdresser died. My hair has grown to half way down my back and I need to do something with it. Either get it cut short or get it into some kind of long-ish style.
Chad says I should keep it long. Either way, I need to get it so I can style it myself. My fibromyalgia is getting worse and it’s getting more difficult to do my hair. I did get my nails done at Sheenah’s house. She’s only doing a few of her clients. She has a sunroom and opened up the windows and the two doors. As long as the weather is nice, it will work out well. We’ll see how it goes.
Bev, I hope you can get in using the web version.

The open houses and 80th Birthday party are all outside weather permitting. I don't stick around too long and try to avoid all the hugging. At the wedding I did hug my great nephew, the groom, but excused myself from shaking hands with the bride telling her I wanted her to be safe.
Come on Bebbi, hit the "web version" tab and come on in!
BTW, my nephew is tall. When I hugged him I was no where near his face lol!
