Logic from an Uncluttered Mind

 by Dianne

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal, its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah’.

The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?’

The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him’.

Too funny Tina!

Here I am again, alone high on my branch! Well not "high" @@ lol!
It has been unseasonably hot here the last few days! I have been spending a lot of time outside working on my flower beds and laying mulch. Jim has mowed for the 3rd time already. Good thing he has the new John Deer. It has made it so much easier for Jim & Matthew!

BTW, I have a "warning" looking thingy. I clicked on it and all it is, is letting me know my "Norton" "safe web" is activated. Not sure what yours is.

The warning triangle that I see seems to only be there on the home page, not on this comment page.

Mary Kudos to Jim for putting together the doggie buggy for you. I would love to see a pic of her in it. I hope she's back to normal now. I wish they could talk so they could tell us what's wrong.

I went and got my mammogram today. Whoopie! LOL I get it done every other year and I couldn't recall how it was last time but when I was told this time to get undressed, I really got undressed except for undies and socks. I guess I only had to be undressed on the top. Oh, well. Cheap thrills. I will remember this next time. At least the actual smashing of the boobs wasn't as uncomfortable as I recall from last time, although I was colder. LOL

Dianne Congratulations, again, to your son for becoming a sergeant. Way to go!

I was at my friend Kathy's house yesterday for dinner. She made some curry dishes which were really good. Curry is one of those things that I like but I don't want to have it on a frequent basis. The flavors are quite strong so it will be a while before I will want to have it again.

She returned recently from an Alaska cruise. She said it was cold and rainy. That was unfortunate as it was the first time her sister and sister's husband had been to Alaska. I've been 3 times and loved it every time. The first time I went it was in early May and the weather was beautiful. I remember when we took a helicopter and landed on a glacier and were walking around on the glacier, I got too warm and took off my jacket. I was wearing a sweater underneath and that was fine. She's a retired travel agent and she's been on more than 90 cruises.

Kathy uses a walker and she has one we take with us when we go out to dinner that has a seat. The seat lifts up and there is a pouch where she can put her purse or whatever, if she wants to. On the cruise she said she had an excellent handicap cabin which had room for her to have the scooter in there which she had rented from the cruise line.

Barb I hope you figure out how to get back on this blog.

I've been watching American Idol this time around. I hadn't really watched it in years. I'm amazed at hos good these people are. One thing I especially like is that they run it here at 5:00 and we can vote for our favorites until end of the last commercial. They then show the show again at 8:00 when voting is closed. I wish DWTS would have had a 5:00 airing so we could vote when it mattered.

As for Joe Millionaire, I guess it didn't work out for Kurt and Amanda, either.

JustLin, I LMAO about your taking "too much off!" Did you feel a draft lol!!
I have at least 2 mamos a year due to my left boobie always looking "questionable". I now have a microchip in there so they have something to compare.

I will take a pic of Zoie in her carriage. She really loves it! She is passed out right now. I hate to wake her, but we have to head to the groomers soon. I had cancelled her last appointment because it was when she was not feeling well.

Mary Well, I was wearing a gown. Of course, it was hanging off my shoulder while the opposite side was getting pictures taken. My results came back "clear" by the way. Always a relief to know.

I'm sorry Zoie still isn't feeling good. She sure looks cute in her buggy.
