It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!
Mary cecking in. A small favor. Please keep Zoie in your prayers tomorrow about 2:00 our time. She will be having minor surgery to remove a mole from her tummy. It popped out just a few days ago. I was watching her sleep feet & tummy up when I noticed a dark bead like spot next to one of her boobies. It was surrounded by a bit of inflammation. Luckily I was able to get her in to our vet today. She took a blood sample and noticed a bit of abnormality. I could wait to see how it developed or have the mole removed now. I chose to have it removed. We have lost one dog to cancer and didn't want to take a chance on Zoie. I am going to keep positive vibes going for her and of course my prayers.
Thanks gals. She is still groggy. She is eating a bit and sleeping a lot, which is good. I had her outside to pee just before dark. Our neighbor decided to shoot his gun off at just that time! Zoie raced to the door! Hopefully after dark she will go out again. I hate all the shooting around here! He liver numbers were a bit off so she will have to take a supplement. She has been hiding under my bed poor baby. Matthew said that dogs tend to do that when frightened or hurting. She is sleeping next to me right now. I can't wait until she is her old ornery self again :)
Hi…how is Zoie doing? Better now? I received a couple of owl cards today….thank you we do a gift exchange with my niece and nephews tmr. I bought too much for the two little ones. Louis is reminding me I’m not their mom or grandma! It’s hard for me. They r 2-2/2 and 1. The one year olds birthday is Dec 29. We r busy. Today was our HOA CHRISTMAS LUNCH. I always enjoy it and get to know more neighbors. I wave to them but don’t know them very much. My house is such a mess with presents everywhere! My youngest grandson…16 …broke his hand in wrestling. It just started and he made varsity. Out for the season. Sad. Hopefully he won’t have to have surgery.
How are you all doing? Everybody or anybody ready for Christmas? It’s coming too quick. There have been some good shows on though. Weather nice this weekend…snow coming in Tuesday and wed. I’ve had enough already. I so wish I could be a snowbird.
I don’t have a lot to say but wanted to check in for a minute.
