The Dating Game

The Dating Game

by Just_Lin

When Custard and I have met in our hometown, we have stayed at his friend John's house. John was also in our class in high school and has done quite well for himself. He has a large house, a mini mansion really, with a pool and a lovely view. The thing about John is that he tends to date bimbos.

It's kind of a joke with Custard and I. When discussing our plans we will say things like, "We'll be having dinner Friday night with John and one of his bimbos". The first bimbo we had dinner with had such a puffed out upper lip that she looked like one of the Simpsons from the side. Custard told me once, when he was out with John and one of his bimbos, he was having alot of trouble understanding her and felt sorry for her because she had a terrible speech impediment. It turns out she had just had too much collegan shot into her lips and couldn't make them work properly.

Most of John's bimbos seem to be "actresses" or "wannabe actresses". They are, for the most part, less than half his age and blonde. I don't mean to be unkind. They all seem to be nice enough, some smarter than others, some more shallow than others. They all seem a little sad and desperate to me. None of them know John's true age as it just isn't discussed. Why do they go out with him? I'm sure money has something to do with it because he has a couple of Escalades and takes them to very nice places. He is also very much a gentleman and treats them with respect. He has a way of acting as if everything they say is of utmost interest to him. He is an excellent listener.

These young women are altering their looks to try and be acceptable according to Hollywood standards. Unfortunately, it just makes them interchangeable. John is a nice looking man and they probably assume he is 10 years younger than he really is. He doesn't reveal his age because he wants to be acceptable dating material for these young things.

While I was there on this last trip, John was propositioned via text message by a young woman with a daughter who wanted to know if he was interested in an "arrangement". For a $9,000 monthly allowance, she would spend two nights a week with him plus go on vacations, etc. with him. After he shared the message with us, the three of us stood around like WTC? He has so many women dating him now, there is absolutely no need to pay big bucks for female companionship. Not to mention, she'd have to be really spectacular to be worth that kind of money. He turned her down in a very nice, gentlemanly way so they can remain friendly.

John used to be married and has two college age sons and a step-daughter. He and his wife divorced 7-8 years ago. After their divorce, he found out that she had been having an affair with her high school sweetheart for a year. The divorce really devastated John as he thought they were soul mates. So now he dates bimbos and keeps himself safe from entering into a serious relationship

BONO and CAROL...I am doing the shimmy shimmy against the fence because my ass itches! It was all good until I got a splinter in my ass...And don't I have beautiful thin ankles??

Love,
HOpiggy!

CAROL...i hope you have sweet dreams.

MEK...nighters to you, too. And...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Bon'O said...

Mo, you are one cute HOpiggy! Oh, all this snack talk. I'm so tempted to grab a bowl of coconut ice cream with a smidge of creamy Jif on the side...the perfect savory/sweet snack on a summer night. Not going to cave though, gonna have a V-8 with a shot of Sriracha hot chili sauce instead!

Just_Lin said...

Bon I love, love, love V-8 Juice. I haven't had it in so long because of all the sodium in it. I have never heard of coconut ice cream with p-butter on the side. Sounds weird!

Just_Lin said...

Carol Good night! You must be very tired. Such an emotional day, today.

Maureen said...

BONO...that coconut ice cream sounds yummmmmmy. Our flavor of the day at work was coconut coffee...so good! I took a cup, added ice, cream and chocolate syrup and it was like drinking a Mounds bar! I may be awake now because I had three of them!

Funny story (at least I was cracking up!)...I was making someone a mocha caramel smoothie this afternoon. For some dumb reason, I put the plastic core that goes in the blender wrong. It was too close to the blades and there was too much opening on the top. Well I set it to super industrial power and the blades destroyed the plastic core (but I didn't know that yet) and I had a mocha caramel shower! It shot all over the place, and I was covered in mocha! The customer was shocked and I was laughing my ass off. Then I pour her her drink and I notice little black specks in her drink...the shavings of the plastic core the blender blades chewed up and spit out!!! Of course I made her a new one, but I was hysterical as I did it! My boss was there and all he could do was stare and tell me only I could do that!

Mo Thank goodness you and LynnD don't work together. It would truly be Lucy and Ethel time! Don't you just love it when goofy stuff like that happens?

Bon'O said...

J/L & MO~~Had to snag my spicy V-8. I know it sounds weird, but I'm really sorry I discovered the combo, 'cuz it's divine (if, of course, you like those tastes to begin with). When I couldn't find the coconut ice cream I used to get, I very reluctantly tried the MEXICO brand from, of all places, WalMart. I thought 'Eewww', Mexico?' but it is all-natural, has real shredded coconut without that phony flavoring. Add just a swirl of Creamy Jif and it's too yummy....probably even better if Mo threw it in the blender!

Just_Lin said...

Mo I sure wish I could have seen that! I would have been crying, I would have been laughing so hard!

Bon'O said...

Dang, just saw the terrible video of Scott Kalitta's fatal Funny Car explosion/fire today in New Jersey. How very tragic. I'm not a NASCAR fan, but love the NHRA Funny Cars/drag racing.

Just_Lin said...

Bon Now I'm craving V-8 Juice.

Dianne/Denver said...

J/L...with vodka and a stalk of celery and an olive!

Dianne/Denver said...

Whoops...and some salt around the rim...Bono, you have us covered?

Just_Lin said...

Dianne I was just thinking that my favorite alcoholic drink is a good spicy Bloody Mary. Yum!

Bon'O said...

Hey Dianne, where ya been? You bet I've got ya covered. I buy V-8 at Costco, two cases at a time, and have margarita salt and tequila and celery. You might have to BYO vodka tonight, though. Come on over, lets PAR-TAY!

Just_Lin said...

Bon and Dianne I've got some luscious big, fat green olives!

Bon'O said...

J/L~...and a full bottle of 'rooster sauce' to make it as spicy as you want it!

Just_Lin said...

Now we have the makings of a party!!

Just_Lin said...

Bon Any way you can come down to the BABB?

Bon'O said...

Maybe we should wake up Iteach and have her bring the pizza after all!

Bon'O said...

J/L~~I would LOVE to come to the BABB. Initially, I thought I might be headed back to No. Carolina about that time, but the airline situation is getting so funky I don't want to fly anywhere! Maybe the Owls to the north of me should rent a van, stop by here on the route south and we'll ALL party! Wouldn't THAT be a hoot?

Just_Lin said...

That's what I had for dinner 2 nights ago....pizza!

Just_Lin said...

Bon That would be so much fun. The more the merrier, definitely! I would love to meet you for real.

Dianne/Denver said...

Bono: I am still mostly "resting" and darn tired of doing it. I did go out today to my niece's police academy graduation and that was fun to see family and friends. I mostly stayed in the house as it was 90 outside and that is tooooo hot for me. The younger people stayed outside. I tried one of the new Bud Light with Lime and it was pretty good.

I think I can party a little longer tonight if you both want too. I could eat a piece or two of pizza too.

Just_Lin said...

Dianne I'm so glad you're feeling better. What do you want on your pizza.

Just_Lin said...

Dianne Beer always sounds better to me than it actually is. Maybe I'll try one of those new Bud Lights with Lime. Maybe it'll be as refreshing as I want it to be.

Bon'O said...

So glad you're doing better, Dianne. I'm here for a bit longer, catching the 11pm news and listening for another thunderstorm which may be headed our way. I love 'em.

Police Academy graduations are kinda cool, aren't they?

Just_Lin said...

Bon I love thunderstorms, too. Custard is on call with the wildland firefighters. They're having thunderstorms around Boise, too.

Bon'O said...

Beer=swill,IMHO...except I can drink about half or better of my fave, Fat Tire, if it's icy cold on a hot day. It's a bit 'nutty', just like me.

Lin~~Prayers for Custard's safety. That's my one fear with thunderstorms. I think that's what started the fire in Watsonville that has me worried for my nephew tonight.

Want2Sleep said...

I'm sleeping....

Bon'O said...

Shhhhh, we don't want to wake Want.

Want2Sleep said...

Speaking of pizza, Pizza Hut charged 3.00 for delivery tonight.

We ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pasta....

Just_Lin said...

Bon Yes, I say we should wake want. She needs to help us eat the pizza and drink the Bloody Marys.

Just_Lin said...

want That's not what made MEK sick that time, is it?

Dianne/Denver said...

Bono: Yes, the graduation was very nice. My niece is just 23 and it only seems like yesterday that she and I were getting her ears pierced. My uncle (retired Denver police Captain) pinned her badge on the other night. My son is a Denver police also..actually, a Robbery Detective. They are getting ready for the Democrat convention in August. All detectives will be on the street for the convention dressed in uniform.

J/L: I tried the Miller Chill also one time as it is with lime as well but it has salt in there too and it is a little too salty for me. This Bud was pretty refreshing in the hot weather today.

Well, I think I will go and get ready for bed. I am "trying" to make myself go to bed earlier to continue on the road to being completely well!!! You two behave somewhat and btw, I will take anchovies on that pizza...yum!! Guess I must be ready for another beer. Somehow anchovies and bloody mary doesn't sound all that good together!! Night..

Want2Sleep said...

I think it is,,,but ours was very good.

Want2Sleep said...

bye Dianne..

Dianne/Denver said...

WANT: Wake up for awhile. Bono and J/L need "looking after" so I can get some sleep. Can you watch them and keep them in line for awhile?

Just_Lin said...

I've never had anchovies on pizza. I wonder if I'd like it. I like the flavor of Caesar salad.

Want2Sleep said...

Is that possible Diane ?

Just_Lin said...

Dianne I'm sorry you have to leave us but it's really important that you get well. I was only in Denver once and that was for a Homicide Investigator Convention. I attended with my second husband, although we weren't married yet. It was very interesting.

Bon'O said...

G'night Dianne, rest well. I think I'll say farewell too, as I need to be up before 7 a.m. I'll leave the V-8s in the fridge (the left bottom crisper drawer is full of them) and the condiments on the counter. If you're still here in the morning, we'll go out for breakfast, k? Sweet dreams!

Just_Lin said...

Oh, and one time I changed planes in Denver, but that doesn't really count. I was worried because they had to scrape ice off the wings. That was the only time I've ever been snowed on.

Want2Sleep said...

bye bono..

Just_Lin said...

Good night Bon! You're right. 7 a.m. will come sooner than you want.

want I have to leave for a while, too. I'll check back in later but there's stuff I need to do with the cats. I have an old cat I need to give fluids to (under the skin)plus I'm babysitting my daughter's two cats tonight and need to tend to them.

Dianne/Denver said...

J/L: Come and visit now...no snow on wings.

BONO: Why do you have to get up so late on a Sunday?

WANT: Good luck with the gals...at least you only have J/L to watch and I have "heard" she can be a wild one!!!

Want2Sleep said...

bye all....

Want2Sleep said...

Have a great Sunday !

Just_Lin said...

Dianne Go to bed or we'll put you on the naughty mat!
