The Toilet Seat

by Dianne

My wife, JULIE, had been after me for several weeks to paint the seat on their toilet.  Finally, I got around to doing it while Julie was out.  After finishing, I left to take care of another matter before she returned.  She came in and undressed to take a shower.  Before getting in the shower, she sat on the toilet.  As she tried to stand up, she realized that the not-quite-dry epoxy paint had glued her to the toilet seat.

About that time, I got home and realized her predicament.  We both pushed and pulled without any success whatsoever.  Finally, in desperation, I undid the toilet seat bolts.  Julie wrapped a sheet around herself and I drove her to the hospital emergency room.

The ER Doctor got her into a position where he could study how to free her (Try to get a mental picture of this.).  Julie tried to lighten the embarrassment of it all by saying, "Well, Doctor, I'll bet you've never seen anything like this before."

The Doctor replied, "Actually, I've seen lots of them......

I just never saw one mounted and framed."

well were they able to repaint and reinstall the toilet seat or did they have to purchase a new one?

anyway...who paints a toilet seat? I mean really...

I don't think I believe a word of that story....although once in the Texarkana Gazette there was a story about a prisoner in the local jail who tried to get intimate with his bunk, got caught in the springs...leaving authorities no choice but to detach the bunk from the wall and take it to the hospital with the prisoner attached to have his winkie removed from the springs....that story even made it into Playboy magazine...

so I guess its believable that "Julie" went to the ER with a "banjo on her knee"....

LOL Michael. I had the same thought, who the hell paints their toilet seat??? Do you suppose they had an outhouse?

and outhouse!! I didn't think of that! That would make more sense...and a water hose for a shower...

Prolly some of those earthy people...like in Oregon...I wonder if Bonnie ever got her ass stuck to the outhouse seat...hmmm...

I had a nice day but disappointing, too. I desperastely need new clothes so my daughter came down so we could go shopping together. That was the fun part but we went to several stores and I tried on a number of things but didn't like anything. That was the disappointing part. Too many things out now are like in Easter egg colors and those just aren't my thing.
