BonO - Yes it is a beautiful day for getting the babies out in the sunshine. First, however, I am trying to get on myspace. I can't seem to log on. I don't know if it is myspace or if Safari isn't supporting it. I had that problem before and I was going to change to Camino which is the PC version of Moxilla Firefox. Before I changed, the problem went away and now it is back. It's so frustrating.

eastbayj, mek, and dreama, ty for the support. I just picked Rita up at the vet. I hope this makes sense as I am a bit upset right now. I will start with a little background info.
Rita is a rescue. She was found on the side of an expressway in April last year. The vet said she was 3 yrs. old so now she is 4 as I have her a little over a year.
The vet surgeon checked her when I got there and he kept listening to her chest, to the point I said, "is anything wrong" and he said he just was checking thoroughly. Well the vet called a while ago and said they would never give her anesthesia unless it was a life threatening situation.
She has a birth defect. They took a series of xrays. Her heart is squashed into the left side of her chest and over her lung. The vet said it really is literally in her throat as it reaches that high. The front lobes of her heart never developed because her heart is crushed in. He doesn't think it will affect her life expectancy, so that was good to hear. I'll stop writing now. Really don't know what else to say.
Oh, I forgot to say the vet could not clean her teeth, obviously.

I just got back from a Mother's Day tea at my mother's church. I wish I had stayed home.
I don't know why she asked me to go. She couldn't have been any colder if she were a block of ice. Most of my attempts at conversation were ignored and those that weren't were answered with sarcasm. I wanted to cry but because I was in public I didn't until now. I don't know why she's like that. I just don't know why. And now I hate myself for letting her get to me. Yeah I can tell this is going to be a great weekend. Thanks for listening.

For different reasons my son and family will celebrate Mother's Day here the following Sunday. That will be easier for me as I have a dance recital to go to tomorrow night. It usually doesn't end until after eleven so it would have been a long day for me. It seems the three times I got sick this year; Christmas, Easter and my birthday were connected to my doing too many activities in a row. I wonder if being over 50, LOL, has anything to do with that. Shirley: I had to take three years and of very little if any contact with my Dad. I just could not take his attitude towards me at all. It helped.
