Good morning Owls.

Tina, I have only a blank square that has 'advertisement' where the blog usually is so I cannot comment on the Jet Pack, however I do thank you for posting it and for keeping our blog going. I hope you are having a good day.

And as for the rest of the Owls, I hope you are all having a good day also.

Sharon and I are having a sewing lesson at my house today. We both got new sewing machines a couple of years ago and we decided there are some things about the machine we don't know, so a friend is coming over to show us. BBL

OK, I cleared my computer history and was able to see the video. All I can say is WOW! That was amazing and it looked like fun. Thanks again Tina.

SacBarb You are looking especially pretty in first on this fine Saturday morning.

I used to sew but now I don't even own a sewing machine. They are much more complicated now than the days when I was sewing on my old Singer.

Tina Well, that was fun to watch. Surely, it is one more thing I would never do but it looks like quite an adrenalin rush.

Wow..that was quite a video. I wouldn't do it either but it does look fun.

Barb, awwww....look how pretty you are this morning at first. I was up early today but couldn't be first because my hair was a mess. I met my friend (45 min from here) at 9am for breakfast. Now that's an early morning for me.

Tonight we are going to dinner and to see Side Effects with Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's had good reviews so we shall see. Early movie and then dinner.

JL, have you caught up on your Hawaii lost sleep yet? Did you buy anything fun there?

Not much else going on to write about....

Afternoon Asters~

Tina that was pretty cool. Richard watched it with me and says he is going to do that. :)

I have just been catching chores up at home today and just hanging out in my sweats.

Waving a wing at everyone.

Dianne Gee, you were up early to make that breakfast date. I don't think I'm totally caught up on sleep yet but at least I was up by 10:00 today. I was up until 3:00 last night making a bunch of little heart-shaped cookies. Today I took myself out to lunch and read my book while eating. After that, I went to work for a short while. Doing laundry now. Finally got all the way unpacked today and got the luggage put away again until next time.

I hope you enjoy the movie.

LynnD I bet Richard thought that really looked like fun. I did, too, but I'm too chicken to have done it even when I was younger. Plus, I'm really not much of a water person.

The movie was really good. Quite a surprise ending and lots of good people in it. All four of us enjoyed it.

We had a nice dinner afterwards and now already home.

Dianne It sounds like you had a very nice evening. How's your knee?

Well, I did learn how to use the button hole foot and the foot that sews on a button. Very cool. I may even sew something now. I used to sew a lot when the kids were young. I really liked to make tee shirts when the stretch-n-sew craze was in. I could usually find fabric remnants at my favorite yardage shop for under a dollar and I could often get two tees out of it. I also made tank tops for my Hubby and the two younger boys out of the same material once and the kids loved it, my hubby not so much.

One Christmas I made a bunch of doll clothes for my nieces' Barbies. That was fun.

Sharon and I went to an early dinner at Applebee's then I went to Church. Tomorrow we are ushering for the Youth production of Pippin. The Sacramento Theatre Company has a wonderful program for elementary and high school kids to learn all aspects of producing a show, from acting to behind the scene. This show is the culmination of their efforts for this year.

Lynn, Love the pic of the kitty sewing you put on my FB page. Made me LOL.

J/L, Might as well leave your luggage out 'cause you'll be needing it again soon. I'm getting excited about going to PS and Sedona.

Dianne, I want to see that movie. I'm glad you gave it a good review.

Good night and sweet dreams everyone. Have a good Sunday.

Jo, my knee is pretty good. They both hurt when I'm going to a standing position from sitting but otherwise I think I'm doing okay. Thanks for asking. How did your shoulder and hip do on vacation?
