Round and Round

i am extremely burnt out, i feel
as if i am going round and round
with no straight lines ahead of me
wherever i start i go around, only
to go back around

make sense?

there is just to much to do, life
is just so demanding, and in between
all this i have my parents to take
care of, not the physical being of
them, its the mental part, that
requires me to be there for them

after i long day at work, using all my
mental capabilities i have to then
make sure all dad's paperwork, banking
doctors appt's etc are all done and in order

it is so strange how many years ago
they both took so good care of me, they
gave me the tools to be who i am, and
now as it always happens in life the
tables have turned, and i now have
to take care of them

i love them dearly, and will do what needs
to be done for as long as it takes, i would never
leave them at this point, as the need for me
to be here is just to strong

so i go on my "merry go round" daily
only to wake the next day, and start all
over again!

some say life is a good ole
"merry go round" i used to chuckle
at that statement, and now i know
exactly what they meant

i am making myself dizzy :O)

EBJ, IBB, JustLin, MEK, Tinka, Zona, Dreama, Carol, and Iteach: Thanks for your comments about my story! I'm hoping Miss BT (cute name, Zona) is curled up in a comfy bed tonight having sweet dreams about her exciting adventure this morning. :) She was loving, plump, and looked healthy plus she had on a harness and tags so I'm guessing she got out of the yard or house by accident since she was well cared for.

Tinka: I had a similar incident happen with my dogs, but it was the garbage man who left my gate open. Fortunately, a kind neighbor let me know my dogs were running loose. It scared the tar out of me and taught me valuable lesson about always checking my gate. I'm glad Tango was safe too.

Goodnight Owls!

Oh...I look silly !!!

ZonaBaby - I am going to take your advice and go to bed and watch a movie. I am getting so little accomplished tonight.

Tinkatia said...

Ibebold - I erased my comment as soon as I saw I was #107. I swear it said 200 when I posted. Maybe I am losing it.

ibebold said...

No.. tinka.. it goes that fast in a march!!!

ibebold said...

it said 196 when I got 200...

Amicus - It makes me feel better that you had the same experience with an open gate because I consider you the perfect dog owner.
I have never told that story before because I was so ashamed of being so stupid as to assume the man locked the gate just because he brought me the key. I too learned a valuable lesson.

Tinkatia said...

Ibebold - Thanks I will stay out of marches from now on. It's for the young I think.

Ibebold, Amicus, ZonaBaby and any other owls still posting.
Good Night again. Have fun.

Night TINKA!!! Sweet dreams!!

TINKA: We almost lost our dog Max because the lawn guy said he had closed the gate..thing is he hadn't latched it. We chased Max all over the neighborhood..and he was NOT listening. He finally found a bassett hound he liked and stopped long enough for us to catch him. It was definately a scary experience!

{{HUGS}} and many sweet dreams to you!! Keep warm! SWAK!!

Taking a short break from dialing.

I have dialed NON-STOP for the first hour and only got THREE busy signals - I am dialing the middle number!!

IBB - congrats on 200!!!

OH - and did anyone notice how many times the judges said AMAZING tonite!! LOL

back to dialing!!

Good nite to all the owls that have gone to slumber land!!

West coast is dialing now - these last 12 minutes - I have only gotten thru once!!

:-)

Tinka: Thanks for the kind words, but I don't think anyone is a perfect pet owner. Accidents can happen despite trying our best to protect our pets. The same is true of kids.

I could tell you several pet-related stories that have taught me valuable lessons, like not leaving medicine on the counter or making sure no wooden parts that look like cat food fall on the floor while assembling a coat rack, etc. :)

AMICUS: Or the one where your sister says.."don't worry, he won't run out.." and then opens the door all the way... ;)

OK my friends, West Coast dialing!!!!

I only have a few comments before I start my dialing.

WHY do they complain about WRONG SONG CHOICE, when the poor kids DON"T even pick them the judges and producers do???? It's not their fault if it is out of "their age, genre, or whatever". That is the only thing that really pissed me off tonight!!!!

I thought each person did an amazing job, and only one though stood out as best. And that person is the one I will be voting for.

I know, I said earlier in the day that I wanted Little David to win for various reasons. I have changed my mind, although I am kind of nervous for him if he doesn't win. What will his father do????

Naomi Judd even said on the Today Show what a horrible "Stage Father" he was several years ago when the poor kid was only about 12!!!!

Anyway gotta go and rev up the old dialing fingers and thumb for the redial!!!

Have a wonderful evening everyone.

So glad you are home Dianne. Keep taking those meds. The last thing you need is a relapse!!!

And for everyone taking care of others, may you have a blessed evening and a wonderful tomorrow.

Peace and Love, DonnaJean and Laurie Elizabeth

I watched Oprah today. I liked Dr. Oz's take on it. I wonder what Wabbear would say?

Good night owls. I did all my voting for David C. tonight. I thought he was awesome.

IBB Congrats on 200.

I thought the Oprah show was very interesting. I did have issue with the manner that the pyschiatrist conducted the hypnosis. It's important to not make suggestions to the subject. He did that on a couple of occasions, like when he asked "What kind of plane is it, a war plane?" He shouldn't have suggested the type of plane. My husband was trained as a forensic hypnotist so I know a little about it.

Anyway, I'm signing off now. See you all tomorrow.
