Back to today's vid:
I like the Black Eyed Peas and this tune is definitely a feel good, catchy tune. However, I really wish the vid didn't equate casual sex with having a good time. Let's face it, the girls walking on the sidewalk looked like hookers. I was waiting for a car to pull up so they could do business. I am by no means a prude and, to be honest, I've had more than my share of meaningless sex, but I would never suggest to a young person that it's a really fun time to be that way. Truth be told, it wasn't particularly fun at all. The real fun happened with partners that I had a real relationship with.
OK. Too preachy this Sunday morning?

J/L, Thanks for the kind words about Chad. He is doing very well, but his return to work has been delayed. He started cardio physical therapy the week before I left and the therapist said it would probably be another 2-3 weeks before he could go back to work. Now that he is feeling so much better, he is getting very antsy to get back to his regular life.
I want to thank EVEYONE for their prayers and positive thoughts for Chad.
SacBarb I'm sure Chad is anxious to get back to his normal life. He was out of commission for quite a while, though, and it's bound to take some time to build his strength back up. I think boys (men) have a harder time being patient with themselves than girls do.
J/L, You are SO right about that. As far as Chad is concerned, patience (patients) is for doctors only.
SacBarb LOL @ you and Sharon playing with your new BBQ and not knowing what you're doing. I'm the same way. When I had the new deck built last year, I got rid of the BBQ that my husband loved to grill on. It was huge and it was his father's so it was old, too. I don't BBQ, never have, so had the thing taken away. Now I'm thinking I should get one, not so big, and learn how to use it. Or at least have one hear so my brother or son can BBQ on it when they are visiting. So many other things I should do or buy for the house right now that a BBQ just isn't my priority.
I do know the difference between "here" and "hear" but apparently my fingers don't. :(
Damn! Although I LOVE this song and blast it in my car whenever it comes on....I can't wait for J/L's blog on her meaningless sex~ ijs~ :)~

J/L: Still stepping, yeppers! I only got 10,268 today. My lowest day in a long time. I took my "little" to the water park. She asked me if I was going to wear it in the water..haha. I told her yes, that it was waterproof. And, then told her I was just kidding. :) She's such a sweet kid, but my goodness, she does not have an off button. She can talk more than any child I have ever met.
She did promise me this weekend that someday she would be on Big Brother for me.
Tina, oh no, I am fine. The only thing I hate is that everybody here talks to each other on the phone and no one has ever asked me for my phone number.

Sorry my sister just called and they are in the emergency room. My niece fell down the stairs, broke her leg and they had to take the back door off her house to get her out of the basement.

Bebbi Some Owls have developed more personal relationships, visiting each other, etc. I don't spend a lot of time on the phone, generally speaking. Lani and I were already friends so I talk to her almost daily. Jodi and I have an occasional conversation, usually very late at night. I'm getting ready for bed and she's getting ready for work. I've talked to a couple of others a time or two but by no means are we talking on a regular basis. If you want to talk sometime, I think that would be fun. MS me your phone number.
And, Dianne, that was not a mean thing to ask at all. :) I hear ya..takes two and all that jazz.

J/L: Thanks. I would. And, I didn't mean to sound like I thought everyone talked everyday or anything. I don't presume to even know that, just that it has never been brought up with me at all. Hi to everyone. I have mostly been home since my husband slid down the stairs on thurs and has a bad sprain and foot is in a splint. He is getting better today
It sounds like she's in a lot of pain, my sister had to go because my neice's boyfriend was coming out to tell her what was going on. I have to call my Mom but I am not sure if I should wake her or not. I guess my sister will do it.
Dianne I didn't know about your husband's fall. Gee, I'm sorry to hear that. I understand that sprains can take a while to heal. I hope he's getting around okay.
