The last time we were in Hawaii, I was driving along with my family, and Kgrl called. She asked where we were on the island. I wasn't sure, so I looked around and saw an island not too far out, checked the map, and proudly announced that we were by Cinnamon's Hat.
There was silence on the other end.......then laughter. She asked, "Do you mean Chinaman's Hat?"
Chinaman.......Cinnamon.....same thing!~ :D (I should have taken the hint right then and there that I needed glasses!)
Since then, my whole family has called it Cinnamon's Hat. It's by my daughter's favorite beach. The water is calm and warm and although there are many crabs running around, the beach is peaceful. No matter which way you turn, the scenery is breathtaking.

Love the vids from Hawaii so peaceful and beautiful. I like Cinnamon's Hat better. I imagine a beautiful girl named Cinnamon wearing a wonderful hat who lost her love in that spot and so it was named.

Iteach I have a routine every morning and feel out of sorts if I don't follow it. Get up between 4 am and 6 am have coffee read the nest and check the news farm and then house work or errands. Boring but it keeps me grounded.
Morning Lynndeeee....I have a not so funny story for you...We donated a bunch of my mom's things to "Lorraine's Kitchen" which is a combination food bank/emergency help center. We had 7 huge heavy duty bags that SO took down there. He went in to tell them we had stuff in the van and the women said she would send someone out to unload. When the guy came out, SO was already unloading. The guy took one look and said "I have to carry all THAT?" I wanted to put the stuff back in the van and turn around and go home...Sheesh

Hi Lynn!
I've been working in the flu clinic the past couple days, it has been absolutely insane. We got the H1N1 vaccine on Monday, they are limiting it at this time (the state of Calif. has guidelines, not just our facility making the rules).
Anyway it has been very exhasperating trying to deal with all the people who want it and can't get it.

Good afternoon everyone! I had a funeral service to attend this morning, My ex SIL. I almost fell over dead myself when I saw my ex husband(SIL brother) there. He lives 3 miles from her and never visited, not even when she was hospitalized!
On a good note, I got to see my son and and my wonderful Grandchildren!
When I returned home the dry wall guy was here and gone, dang! I hard he was cute too! I have missed him twice! He comes back tomorrow to finish up. :)
I love how everything is going so smoothly (knock-on-wood!).
BBL I have to farm and order one more kitchen cabinet (over frig).

J/L- so far so good. The phones have been so quiet today I actually had to pick them up to make sure they worked! So, I'm getting lots of computer work done, reports ran and things that don't require me to interact with the idiots of the world...:)
