Belle has a burn along her gum line...I think maybe a sting or something that she has rubbed raw with her paw...and it is infected....so veterinarian gave us an antibiotic to take home....twice a day with syringe...a topical ointment...and recommended benadryl for her sneezing....she is going to hate me by the time this is over...
We have had sooo much wind that the dust alone is incredible....and everything is so dry....
I just gave her the anti-b and a benadryl....then she screamed I HATE YOU! as she ran from the room....
The vet said.."if she doesn't get better call me!"
I told her..."For $200 if she doesn't get better I may gather information on you and access your children under the guise of a sweet old lady!!!" ...in that sleazy way that I have!
J/L...thanks for you know what...and I have some nice shoes lined up and when I exhaust that supply....I'll just have to go back to the beautiful....because its you ladies that I was always sharing them with...and while I definitely have a shoe habit...the only selfish bones in my body are in my feet....

Michael - I am happy to hear that Belle will be fine. It's awful having to give medicine or anything like that that the "fur baby" doesn't like. I wish we could explain things to them.
Tango is fine as long as she takes her steroids. It is like lock jaw. When it first happened she would scream when she tried to open her mouth. It was scary. Apparently if left untreated eventually she would be unable to open her mouth and of course it would be fatal because she wouldn't be able to eat. I think it cost about $1000 but I have insurance on both of them and I only pay 20%.

Michael..your posts are killing me over here! I hope Belle is okay..poor baby. She'd like my bandit..he's still got his balls and everything... He doesn't know how to do it though. Chloe is not fixed either and he never did the deed with her to have puppies. . They are both registered and I was hoping at one time, but now they are getting too old.

Bebbi - I was having a great nap when suddenly I woke up coughing and choking. I don't have a cold but I don't know what that's about. It scared me for a while because I couldn't breathe. I am fine now but I "whistle" when I breathe. Anyone have that happen to them? Advice please.

Tina - Thank you for the beautiful card. I don't know what is wrong with our mail service. I got 3 cards today. One was mailed on April 18, one the 19th and one March 28th. I think the mail lady holds onto to them until she has enough to make the walk down our driveway worthwhile. Anyway I loved your homemade card. You are very talented.
Zona - Your April Fool card arrived today. I knew what it was but I enjoyed the joke anyway. It took 2 days less a month to arrive here. Remember we wondered who got it because we thought it had to be lost. Anyway thanks a heap.

Michael That's good news about Belle. I can't stay in the room when the Vet is doing anything that hurts my babies. I usually leave the building so I can't hear them cry.
