Join me, in the snow!
I have always said I love living in NJ, as the seasons are what they should be, however I never said I loved the snow, well actually as I child I did, but as a adult it is really a hindrance. From driving in it, to shoveling, to walking carefully, it is a def a issue. I also have to worry about clients stuck at airports because of canceled flights and such. So snow is not my favorite. I wonder tho, if I lived in a warmer year round climate would I miss the snow? And I think I would, so I guess I just have to deal with it, and do as I always do.

Congrats on 1st Bebbi.
The minute I saw this blog I thought of 2 things. First, that was a light dusting of snow. Second- MEK. I KNOW she misses the snow.
I like the snow until about Christmas. Then I am so over it. I hate the gray snow, the cold that goes with it. I could easily live somewhere warm and just visit at Christmas!
Since my grandchildren are based in MN. that is never gonna happen. Mr. Goldie wants to MOVE there within the next 10 years. OY-

Yep snow used to love it to, until I became an adult and now I loathe it. The first day is ok and then all of the issues you listed come to mind. Here in WA when the snow hits western WA the area becomes paralyzed as we really don't know how to drive in it. That does not surprise me, what does is the people who can't drive in rain. Hello we live in an area that gets so much rain we have a freaking rain forest here.

I have lived in the snow, I miss it only at Christmas time.
We can drive a few hours to Lake Tahoe and get our fill of snow, then leave it behind.
We are supposed to be in for another rainy day, but right now the sun is out. Sooo we will see.

I had a dentist appt this morning and everyone there was talking about Jason! It seems most people have the same opinion of him! I don't have a problem with him being honest and saying he made a mistake, but to jump from crying to making out with Molly was just too much. He made himself look so incredibly stupid. Carol That was fun to see where you stop for cawfee on your way to work. I have never lived in the snow and wouldn't know how. I was in Reno once, when there was snow on the ground. :) I always enjoy your flip videos. I hope you do more.
I'm not as angry with Jason as the rest of you seem to be. You could tell by the way Jason and Melissa greeted each other, that things hadn't been going well. Once the glamour and romantic locations were behind them, they had to deal with real life. I think it would be easy to get convinced there is chemistry when you are basically on a glorious vacation. Once you're home is when the real work begins. They probably both had been carried away with the fairy tale of it all.

CAROL: Fun video and blog today. I am kind of missing the snow we usually have SO remind me of that in the next two months when I am wishing the snow away. It melts so fast here that it really isn't much of a problem...now the mtns are a whole other story. MEK: I am sure you miss the seasons although, it sure was beautiful when I was there in january!
JUST/LIN: I am like you. I am not mad at Jason and I almost feel sorry for him...(hey, I feel those shoes being tossed at me). I am a true glutton for punishment as I watched Jimmy Kimmel last night. Jimmy is so funny but Jason was pretty serious. He said that Melissa knew what was going to be on TV and that they all sign a contract that everything needs to be on TV. He said he is not engaged and just taking it slow with Molly. I agree with you JUST?LIN, I could probably fall in love pretty easy on helicopter trips, mansions, wearing diamonds, etc. Well, I could at least fall in love for six weeks! :)

Well it is crazy how pissed everyone is at Jason. The talk radio here in WA has been crucifying (sp?) this guy! You know he is from Seattle and I think they might try to run him out on a rail.

My class was obsessed with Ian's pimple. He talked nonstop about the pimple on his nose and how it hurt. Then he told in detail how his grandma put cream on it. However, he wants to pop it, but grandma said no. Blah, Blah, Blah....

I spent part of the day at the hospital. My Niece Raquel, has been very sick on & off for the last two months. She has had so many tests! She had heart palpitations today and was told to go to emergency. The last test they took said she had Mono & Epstein-Barr. Her being a student, you would think that would have been on top of their test list! Because she has had it for so long they said she has passed the contagious stage, but needs steroids for a week to heal her spleen. She was flying pretty high from all the meds. when I left her.
She is so sweet. I am glad she is going to be alright.
By the time I got done reading the posts in area 51 last night, everyone had left lol!
I hope it doesn't take me that long tonight! BBL

lol Carol~ It was religion class. He was talking about how people see you and how God see's you. Under his coat he had a torn up shirt, holes in his socks, and under his pants, a pair of ripped up shorts (long shorts...NOT underwear!). AND....it was my kid's father....they were so embarrassed because they really thought he was taking his clothes off. He was making a point that no matter how you look on the outside, you are all the same on the inside to God! I love that lesson. Every time he gives it, a parent comes to his office to verify that he really didn't take his clothes off!

MEK: Cutler has decided to go and talk to the coach. My friend went to dinner for their anniversary at Elways restaurant on Saturday night and he came in with his fiancee and daughter and her friends. They were having dinner and going to the Rascal Flats Concert. My friend told him it was their 28th wedding anniversary and she said he was so nice and congratulated them and signed her Anniversary card. This is one of the couples I went with to Elway going to the Hall of Fame so they were extra excited. He was sitting right next to them. I wish I could have been with them...sigh.

MO,Diane/Den,thanks for your thoughts on Raquel. I just noticed she wrote me a sweet note on myspace thanking me for being there today. She mentioned how fuzzy she was at the time. She must have slept off the meds.
Jaimie is on her way back by train from Was. D.C. She was there with class mates on a protesting march. I think it had to do with environmental issues, as she is heavy into that. She placed some pictures on facebook from her trip.
Some one stole her coat while she was using the restroom, OY VEY! You just can't trust anyone!

One more thing for Bachelor watchers: It was funny as Jimmy Kimmel asked Jason if his arm was tired from handing out roses and then taking them back. He also asked him if he had sex with 9 of them and then ended the interview by telling him good luck but most people will not like him anymore and he probably won't get married to Molly either!
