Its so depressing what goes on all around us. Our emotions run a mock, scared, angry, confused, these emotions all surface, and we have no idea what to do with them.
So I have decided to have a non thinking weekend. I am just going to go in my own world and block out everything else. No watching or reading the news, No confrontations, No drama. Its just going to me be with the rest just shut out.
I guess its like a cleansing, (and boy do I need that) push it all out, breath deep, and live in make believe. Monday I can then be myself again and take on the world. But for now, non thinking is the way I am going to go.
Will you join me? And just think if you do join me, we can be princess's, (even whabby), or a billionaire, or a top paid actress, or a juggler in a circus, or even Yoda. The sky is the limit in make believe land. I am so ready for it.

I do notice that Mr. B is alway's the one using the riding mower while I brake my back raking!????

Carol, I have actually had a non thinking year if you can believe that. Up until New Years I was a newsaholic. I watched CNN almost constantly. I was aware of which child was missing and which one was found dead and where. I watched Nancy Grace every night and knew the details of each case. This year for different reasons I don't watch any of them. I get the main idea of what is going on from the computer. I feel happier not knowing who is being shot and where. Maybe I am now an ostrich with her head in the sand but a much happier bird than ever before. I will be thinking of you during your "non thinking" weekend. Have a great time everyone.
Bonachichi I would take you with me. That way you'd be able to figure out how to get us off the island!

Carol you are so singing my tune, but unfortunately. I have to much to do to pretend all weekend. I am thinking alone time weekend get away is sounding really good right now.
There are way to many people crowding my brain.
It's been a clear and crips autumn day here on the coast. After going out for a waffle and bacon, I picked up some items at the pharmacy, then got some tomatoes and asparagus at the gross-ry store, then went to the animal hospital and worked for a little while. When I returned, the hummingbirds were in a dither because both feeders were empy in spite of the fact that I filled them both last night at sunset. They were so thrilled to have them filled again, that two of them started feeding while I was still holding the feeder. I love being able to see them so close like that. Yesterday, I saw that there is a huge pile of dove feathers in my yard. That means one of the hawks was here again. :(
Actually, I think it's been more of a crisp day rather than a crips day. LOL

Bear LMAO! My mom and I drove up there once and saw the building that was used as the school. We imagined all the kids running and the birds attacking them. We laughed a lot during that trip but one of the funniest moments for me was that I had to pull over on the way there so Mom could get out and throw up. LOL The winding road got to her. We still laugh about our trip to Bodega Bay.
