How about the USS New York, amazing huh.. Steel was used from the Trade Center to build it.. It will be at South Street Seaport (NY) I think for the month of Nov. If the weather is nice on Sunday, we are going into NY to see it..
And what about the Oasis of the Seas Royal Caribbean's new ship. She looks beautiful, I was invited on it for a Travel Agent site inspection in Dec, but I am not going.. could not find anyone to go with me, and I did not want to go alone.. She is one big amazing ship..

Carol...I really liked your blog today!!!! I'm not sure who you were refering to, but it struck a cord with me. I guess 'cuz it kinda describes my Mom. Sorry I haven't been commenting, I somehow fell into this depression kinda thing. It actually kinda scared me as I didn't get out of bed for a couple of days and I've NEVER done that. I finally figured out that looking for a house in CA and sorting through stuff to get ready to move was keeping me distracted and when I no longer had that to do I had too much time to remember the awful parts of taking care of Mom. Plus I gave up a dream I had for years. Not a good combination.

I've devoted a lot of time and energy to not feeling things. Not letting others know I'm feeling them, at least. It's an asset at work, but screws with my personal life.

I know Christie's stance on same sex marriage. You know I am for same sex marriage. However NJ taxes are one of the highest, and the taxes just keep going up. Christie has some good plans for reducing taxes, and I agree with them. NJ taxes are wasted and he has stated he will try his hardest to clean up the tax issue. For me the tax issue is a big one, so I need to put my vote to use, and go with what I believe in.
I am also a practicing Catholic (as you know) in the Catholic religion same sex marriage is not recognized. It is not my belief, but I cherish my religion.
We have to make choices sometimes and take the good with bad.
