Pregnant on the Bus

by Dianne

ACTUAL AUSTRALIAN COURTDOCKET12659
      ---
A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus.
She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her.
She immediately moved to another seat.
This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again.
      The man seemed more amused.
When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing,

She complained to the driver and he had the man arrested.
The case came up in court.
The judge asked the man (about 20 years old)
What he had to say for himself.
      The man replied,
'Well your Honor, it was like this:
When the lady got on the bus,
I couldn't help but notice her condition.
She sat down under a sign that said,
'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I grinned.
Then she moved and sat under a sign that said,
'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling,' and I had to smile.
Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said,
'William's Big Stick Did the Trick,' and I could hardly contain myself.
But, Your Honor, when she moved the fourth time
And sat under a sign that said,
'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident!'
      ... I just lost it.'

      'CASE DISMISSED!!'

Tina Good moaning or good afternoon, whichever you prefer. What happened to everybody? Are they having a party and didn't invite us?

Hi Everyone. I'm feeling great and hung out with my Wednesday friend. Thanks for the comments today. I did think this was pretty funny!!

Lynn: sorry your not feeling well today. Hope it's just today and you will be much better tomorrow or even tonight. how is Eva feeling?

JL: no colds allowed this time of year--only in the winter so go get some VitC and maybe a shot or two would help too I think there might be some old jello shots in the refrig. Get well please.

Zona: it was in the 90's today and then a small storm came through and dropped it to the 60's. Perfect!!!

Hi Tina: how are things in your house with everyone back in school now? You must be resting now.

Boring TV on as usual. I seem to just play on my iPad every night or read my important newspaper---The Globe. See ya all later

Zona: have you recovered from your birthday yet?

Good evening feathered friends!

Sorry I have been MIA,just too much going on. I have barely been home, spending a lot of time with Sharon. And last night I just zonked out.

Thank you for you sweet condolences. They meant a lot to me. I took you on the long journey of Joanne's illness. It was rather amazing she survived as long as she did. She was so sick the last few weeks. As sad as I am at her passing, I am relieved that she will never have to suffer anymore.

In the next few weeks ahead I will be helping Sharon dispose of Joanne's things. Then probably helping her to get ready to look for a new apartment and the potential move ahead for her.

It has been a whirlwind.

I'm sorry I have missed so much here, and I really dont think I can catch up!

I hope everyone is doing ok and if you've been under the weather, feel better soon.

My heartfelt thanks and love to you all.
