Geez, I have missed blogging, my days have been crazy, I truly don't know where this week went. I wonder at times, how I get thru this craziness we call life. My business has def picked up, which I must say, must mean the economy is hopefully on a upswing. I, however, forgot how to work busy, so many months have passed of my business being slow, that now when the phones are ringing and the door is swinging open, I get lost. Literally lost in a swirl of toilet water. And I truly have to swim back up to the surface with all that rotten spew that we see so often in our toilet. Kicking and screaming I resurface, trying hard to hold my breath, and once up, I release a sign of relief and spit out a few unmentionables.
It is good to splash around in toilet water every now and again, as it def brings you back to reality. Coming back up, leaves the toilet rim a distance memory, and the lost seem more manageable.
Have I mentioned how much I miss blogging....

Is it because I am getting older that time is moving so fast. It's two months tomorrow since we celebrated the new year. It is so trite yet so unbelievable.

Zona - Thanks for the kind wishes. Hope all your car needs is an oil change. I have a theory that as soon as one gets a few dollars saved something jumps in and needs to be repaired. Ever since I sold my mom's house there have been more repairs needed to use up the money.

Iteach - A dull life is good once in a while but I miss those busy days that you are now experiencing - little kids messing up and house and always needing something. I remember when I would wish for days when I had absolutely nothing to do. It's too bad we can't magically take some of the free time we have when we are older and our children have left the nest and place it back in the busy years. I think I am babbling here. I had better eat some breakfast. As soon as I got off the computer last time a second call came, this time it was a relative in Halifax. I guess it's my day for the long distance calls.

Well I'm cleaning the picnic mess up in the livingroom.
We put a big blanket down in the livingroom and the kids filled up the picnic basket. We ate our lunch on the livingroom pretending we were on a picnic outside.
It was a lot of fun!
