This week Mr. Z and I are celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We have been through a lot together. There have been both good times and bad, but we held on and our love for each other is amazingly strong. We have our arguments, as every couple does. I don't think there is any way to bring two people from completely different families together and NOT have disagreements occur. It's always gonna happen, but we never go to bed mad at each other. One of us always apologizes. It's kind of a rule around here. We do have one other ritual. No, Tina, it doesn't involve porn. Every time Mr. Z leaves the house to go to work or we are going to be separated from each other for a while, we say "Love you...forever." Every single time. I once asked him, when he called me from work, if he was ever embarrassed to say this over the phone with all those people around. He said no, he wasn't, because it was too important to him to let me know how he felt just in case something happened and he didn't get home that day. On the face of it, it may seem silly, but it does have deep meaning for us. I am always sure he knows that I love him...he's always certain I know how much he loves me.
Mr. Z and I both love this song by Ne-Yo. We both believe it has an important, but simple message. Let those you love, know how much they really mean to you. Never, EVER, miss the chance to tell them "Love you...forever."

BONACCI...So far, so good. I know we have a shortage of clinicians. We need docs, nurses, PTs, OTs, ST's, RD's and MSW's.
Family doc's or GP's are rare, as most med students go into specialties since the pay is higher and it is easier to pay back school loans. There is a new med school in FLA that just announced they will enroll 40 students for free tuition if they go into family medicine. It's a start. And hopefully with the increase in the need for medical professionals there will be a need for the increase (or stabilization) for support staff like me.
I know in my head and my heart I made the right move getting into this field. Keeping it positive!

MO - many, many years ago - the mortgage company that I worked for shut down and I found myself looking for work. The mortgage industry was crashing (kinda like now) and noone was hiring.-
the medical field found me and I never looked back. I LOVED every minute of my job!!

Zona, my parents never said I love you by their words, but by their actions. It didn't really occur to me at the time, so I don't think it damaged me much lol! I believe that is why all 6 of my siblings always tell each other we love them when ever on the phone or in person. Many of us live far apart. We know how precarious life can be.
I always tell my sons I love them and how proud I am of them. Hugs are big here too.

I think it is important to tell people you love them as long as you mean it. My children grew up with hearing it from me but not from their father. It makes me sad when my daughter told me recently that her dad told her "he loved her" and then she knew he was worried about her health! I am very fortunate to be married to a very loving husband BUT I do go to bed pissed sometimes. Ok-ok ZONA, I will try not to anymore but I can't promise.
