An Irish man walks into a pub. The bartender asks him, "what'll you have?" The man says, "Give me three pints of Guinness please."
So the bartender brings him three pints and the man proceeds to alternately sip one, then the other, then the third until they're gone. He then orders three more.
The bartender says, "Sir, I know you like them cold. You don't have to order three at a time. I can keep an eye on it and when you get low I'll bring you a fresh cold one."
The man says, "You don't understand. I have two brothers, one in Australia and one in the States. We made a vow to each other that every Saturday night we'd still drink together. So right now, my brothers have three Guinness Stouts too, and we're drinking together.
The bartender thought that was a wonderful tradition.
Every week the man came in and ordered three beers. Then one week he came in and ordered only two. He drank them and then ordered two more.
The bartender said to him, "I know what your tradition is, and I'd just like to say that I'm sorry that one of your brothers died."
The man said, "Oh, me brothers are fine - I just quit drinking."

I am a corned beef and cabbage virgin no more!! My local meat market had take out, and oh my heck it was delicious!! I split an order and ate with my Dad and brought another home for my hubby. Let the fart games begin ;)

Good evening Hooters!'It was warm and beautiful here in Michi today.
I had a 2:30 optometrist appt today. I finaly saw my Dr @ 4:30! He is a cute & sweet man. He smiled and shook my hand as usual and asked how I was. In my sweetest Mary voice I said, "not bad except for waiting 2 hrs to see you". I couldn't believe how quick that smile turned into a frown! He started writing something in his notes and mumbled "some patients take longer than others". I don't usually say anything when they are running behind, but he never apologized in advance. I wonder if I should have kept my mouth shut lol!!

Aunt Mary, I think you did fine telling him. I use to work for a clinic that housed 40 doctors and so many of them had a "Almighty complex" and saw patients when they were "ready too".

Just got back from our Lacrosse games..we played the other Catholic high school..the JV team killed the other guys and the Varsity team won, but it was a close game and fabulous~ Now we're home watching the Zags play....winning there too (so far!)

Mornin' everyone. It is 4:10AM in my part of the country and St Patty's Day is all over for another year. I went to lunch and they gave us green ice tea....and to top it off it was a Mexican restaurant.
SACBARB: Went to theater tonight to see Traces, have you heard of it? I didn't think I would like it but I ended up enjoying the show.
