BARB - Bwahahaha!!! Made me of the scene in A Christmas Story when they are eating in the Chinese restaurant and the staff is trying to sing them a song. "Deck the halls with balls of farry....Fa ra ra ra ra" ;)

Never did lay back down after going in to re-teach the finer things in bookkeeping to Miss Know-it-All ;) Stayed up to go out for breakfast with my men folk before they head off to Minneapolis. French toast, bacon and green tea....mmmmmmm!!!

GOOD GRIEF....Made me THINK of the scene!!

Maybe I SHOULD go lay down.

Last night I went to Target to get gift cards to send up to Minneapolis for the name drawing gifts. Picked up a couple of movies. Dark Shadows and Sparkle. Love me some Johnny Depp, and wanted to see Whitney in her last performance.

I'm thinking of hooking up the DVD player in the basement. That is where our wood burning stove is. I caught a chill this morning and just can't get warm.

HOdi Good morning, Beautiful! I, too, have had some days recently where I just couldn't seem to get warm enough. I thought it might be my old age but obviously not if it is happening to you, too. Some days are just like that, I guess.

SacBarb LMAO! Good one! Speaking of books, my daughter got me a Kindle Fire for Christmas. That was a total surprise to me. As soon as I finish the book I'm currently reading, I will have to really learn how to use the Kindle. There will be a learning curve, I'm sure.

Jodi, a warm cozy fire in the basement sounds really good. It will put a glow on those beautiful cheeks. Congratz on being the prettiest one today.

J/L, the learning curve will be a very short one. I am NOT a techy and I got it quickly. Of course I only have the basic Kindle and not the Fire. What a great gift. I hear it does everything but cook your dinner.

Well, that was short and sweet LOL! Too funny Barb!

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
I spent most of the day helping at our friends funeral dinner. at the VFW. While I was doing that, my Niece in Texas was saying goodbye to her son.
At least I heard good news about my sister. She is doing much better. She has to stay in the hospital a while while the conduct more test and check the 3 leaking heart valves. Growing old shouldn't be so cruel eh?

I think I overdosed on sugar while serving. Someone brought homemade pb & chocolate fudge!!! There was also a wonderful margarita cake! Gah! I am heading to the treadmill!!!

Hodi, I am glad you got some rest, too bad it was interrupted by a training session!

JustLin, my girlfriend has the Kindle Fire and loves it! I have the "Nook Book". So far I just use it to read. Let me know how you like yours.

BARB: Well..ok..but I'll thank you anyway..LOL.. :D

JODI: I hope you were able to get some rest today and are feeling better in the morning.

J/LIN: I seem to have just the opposite problem! I've been waking up with a headache because it's too warm in the house. Randy likes the heat set on 67..too hot for me! So we compromised..I turned it down and gave him another blanket.. ;)

MARY: I'm glad your sister is doing better! I od'd on sugar today too..Bottlecaps..I'm addicted. Santa..ahem..put them in my stocking and I can't stop eating them..I have no self control! ;)

Gonna call it a night..Randy's vacation is wearing me out..I can barely keep my eyes open..

Good night everyone..sweet dreams!
