It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

That's what I wanted to ask you Mek. I have only seen a few shows but I thought Ned was a little boy. I also thought they only did that on soap operas. It was good though but it looks like everyone is going to bed so I have missed all the fun in that hour.
Bed is where I am heading in about 20 minutes. My clock is showing Eastern time. On that Ross blog it shows Pacific time for me. I wonder why the difference.

bon o - I am 5 foot one and a half inches. Don't forget that half an inch. I got rather large girls at the age of 15 and I was only 89 lbs. then. It came from my mother's side but my sister who was 5 ft 9 didn't get them. It wasn't quite fair.
Amicus - You might be slow but you are very accurate. I don't think I have ever seen you make a typo on the blog nor have you ever made a mistake in 'bold'.
Oh and I forgot Bon'o...I am not buying fans it is Green Bay Jodi. I am not even sure who I am cheering for since the Broncos were pushed out of the playoffs!!

yeah, Tink..Mom (5'6", 135 lbs tops) had the tiny boned long legged girly-girly figure & big boobs. Okie daddy had big bones & naturally curly hair...guess what I got?

Bonnie, My mom and her sisters got beautiful legs. I wasn't lucky enough to get them. My mom's legs are still quite beautiful, very slim ankles - not me.

When I don't think about the keys, I find myself typing without looking at the keyboard so my fingers have learned where the letters are, but I only use three fingers. :) In a chat situation though, I start getting nervous about not being able to keep up so it takes me even longer to type, because I'm thinking about more.
I regret not taking a typing class in high school. Everyone didn't have PC's back then so I didn't realize I would need typing skills. My guidance counselor failed to mention the typing requirement for term papers in college. My mom had typed my papers for me. I live and learn the hard way! ;)

Lynn D - We deleted some posts because we mentioned someone's name who doesn't use that name in cyberspace. Someone also quoted someone else from the Ross blog. She then deleted it because she didn't want to quote anyone without their permission. We weren't keeping anything secret.

Zona - cpgem8 will be putting up a new page soon. Then we will be in area 5l just like in the Ross blog. Yesterday Iteach and I were blogging on day l and people were already on day 2 and we didn't know it. She will soon put up day 3. Maybe she already has and I didn't look. I think maybe I will put up a picture today.
Zona - It depends on your computer. They were saying last night that you hold down 'control' and then hold down 'page up' or 'page down' and it's fast like an elevator instead of scrolling slowly up and down. With my Mac that doesn't work. I hold down the mouse and instantly can scroll to the top or bottom. If I use the scroll button it takes a long time.
Hi Everyone, Just popping in to see if Zona made it through!! Yippee, good for you Zona, Soemtimes I hit the page down button to scroll, but I usually have to hit the left mouse click to get it activated. That just might be on my own comp. though. And don't forget to use the refresh button for the most recent post. Soem of us have a security ?? box that pop's up after each post/refresh..my hubby said it's cause we have the security set high...I'm not sure about it. Some have found a way to make it got bye bye.. be sure to put this link in your favorites area.. hollar if ya have anymore ??? It get's easier as you go....

Zona - No you don't get left behind. Questions are sometimes answered a few posts after they are asked. Amicus told us last night she was a very slow typer but she got in every comment she wanted to write. It's not like the chat room where the comments scroll quickly by. I am a fast typist but I can't keep up in the chat room. It just frustrated me. Oh yes the little trash can by your comment is there so you can delete you comment after it is posted. I didn't know that last night and it caused me quite an upset stomach.
Birdee - Great minds think alike. I don't have a security thing so I don't know how to get rid of it. The first night I had a word verification thingy and I had to do it every time. With my eyes I was having trouble. cpgem8 got rid of it. She should be starting us a new day soon. Did anyone check.
Tinka, I have been sick since Monday. Thought it was my new bp meds and went to the doctor had a cough and other things going on. She took me off this perscription until next Wednesday to see if it was a reaction. It seems it is a cold and the flu!
I have been trying to rest all week but it just wants to hang in.
I have been on the computer more this week than any other time in my life! LOL

Lynn, it has the zinc in it and zinc gluconicum, not sure what that is..but I take the tabs, they dissolve in your mouth..just can't eat/drink 15 mins. before or after taking them..takes a bit of getting used too as far as the chalky taste..but really not bad..evrytime I've used them, they have really lessened the cold symptoms..
Lynn D, they make a cold med for people that have high bp..i've used that too..trying to think of the name..but hubby can ask pharmacist...they will help...it's cp...something..

When I don't think about the keys, I find myself typing without looking at the keyboard so my fingers have learned where the letters are, but I only use three fingers. :) In a chat situation though, I start getting nervous about not being able to keep up so it takes me even longer to type, because I'm thinking about more.
I regret not taking a typing class in high school. Everyone didn't have PC's back then so I didn't realize I would need typing skills. My guidance counselor failed to mention the typing requirement for term papers in college. My mom had typed my papers for me. I live and learn the hard way! ;)

Lynn D - We deleted some posts because we mentioned someone's name who doesn't use that name in cyberspace. Someone also quoted someone else from the Ross blog. She then deleted it because she didn't want to quote anyone without their permission. We weren't keeping anything secret.

Yesterday Iteach and I were blogging on day l and people were already on day 2 and we didn't know it. She will soon put up day 3. Maybe she already has and I didn't look. I think maybe I will put up a picture today.
Zona - It depends on your computer. They were saying last night that you hold down 'control' and then hold down 'page up' or 'page down' and it's fast like an elevator instead of scrolling slowly up and down. With my Mac that doesn't work. I hold down the mouse and instantly can scroll to the top or bottom. If I use the scroll button it takes a long time.
Zona - There is nothing wrong with your brain. We all had trouble getting here, except for a few techy people.
In other words if you don't type fast and scroll fast you will be left behind?

Yippee, good for you Zona, Soemtimes I hit the page down button to scroll, but I usually have to hit the left mouse click to get it activated. That just might be on my own comp. though. And don't forget to use the refresh button for the most recent post. Soem of us have a security ?? box that pop's up after each post/refresh..my hubby said it's cause we have the security set high...I'm not sure about it. Some have found a way to make it got bye bye.. be sure to put this link in your favorites area.. hollar if ya have anymore ??? It get's easier as you go....

Zona - No you don't get left behind. Questions are sometimes answered a few posts after they are asked. Amicus told us last night she was a very slow typer but she got in every comment she wanted to write. It's not like the chat room where the comments scroll quickly by. I am a fast typist but I can't keep up in the chat room. It just frustrated me. Oh yes the little trash can by your comment is there so you can delete you comment after it is posted. I didn't know that last night and it caused me quite an upset stomach.
Oh boy Zona, Wish I could remember who said they figured it out...

Also, if you see a little trash can below your post, that means you can delete your comments...

I don't have a security thing so I don't know how to get rid of it. The first night I had a word verification thingy and I had to do it every time. With my eyes I was having trouble. cpgem8 got rid of it. She should be starting us a new day soon. Did anyone check.
Tinka, I have been sick since Monday. Thought it was my new bp meds and went to the doctor had a cough and other things going on. She took me off this perscription until next Wednesday to see if it was a reaction. It seems it is a cold and the flu!
I have been trying to rest all week but it just wants to hang in.
I have been on the computer more this week than any other time in my life! LOL

Birdee, Not taking much. I am so confused as to what I can take that does not raise bp. Mostly Tylenol and keeping hydrated.
Though I am sending Mr. Lynn D out to get some mucinex. The cough is dry but also in my lungs right now. No head cold thank goodness!

Lynn, it has the zinc in it and zinc gluconicum, not sure what that is..but I take the tabs, they dissolve in your mouth..just can't eat/drink 15 mins. before or after taking them..takes a bit of getting used too as far as the chalky taste..but really not bad..evrytime I've used them, they have really lessened the cold symptoms..
Lynn D, they make a cold med for people that have high bp..i've used that too..trying to think of the name..but hubby can ask pharmacist...they will help...it's cp...something..
don't think the zinc in zicam will raise bp...
I'll have him read the box and have him get some when he goes out.

Remember a while back - he went into chat and BEGGED people to let everyone know that they MUST comment cuz his numbers were down - he gets "extra credit" from NBC for "so many comments" - and now, he's asked us to NOT post - he just can NOT have it both ways...
Zona - You can stay on here and still answer your e-mail. It doesn't throw you off the site. If you go to Ross' blog or any where else on the web you have to log on to this site again. I stayed on here and kept e-mailing you back and forth and it didn't affect this page.
