Yesterday I was walking around the grounds of the Owl's Nest Estate and I was following a beautiful red cardinal flitter from tree to tree. It led down a new path that I had not visited. At the end of the path was a spa, OUR spa.
I boldly went inside and talked to the receptionist. She said that she has been waiting for us. I told her that we have only been here for a year and we are still discovering all the unique features of our nest. She was very understanding and kind.
Owls, you are just going to love this place. I have always dreamed of going to a spa for a day and I'm so excited that we have one here. They have all the services that I dreamed of spa having and more!

HI...I am home and in my jammies all ready for bed. We have no plans for the weekend and I am so ready to be here. My husband just told me he did the laundry today...nice surprise. I guess I am tired from the spa with TINK AND BEAR today! I love the lotion they use for those massages and the calm music, etc. I am drifting myself off to sleep just thinking about all these pamper items.
JOEY AND BEBBI: You two are having quite a party tonight..popping, marching, cooking, napping!! You both have a lot of energy for a Friday night.
EBJ: I can't remember what the size of the earthquake was but it was on our news. I kind of just caught the end of it and they said there wasn't anyone hurt. You must be too used to them to feel them.

I went to the flea market last Sunday with my Mom, daughter, and friends. I saw an ornament that was an old Hallmark ornament of an Owl. I think I am going to go back and get it. That will be my One Year Blog-A-Versary present to myself.

Sorry guys, I was MIA on my own blog day.
I was consumed with guilt last night and it trickled into the morning.
However, as the day progressed I started to feel better.
Last night was not my finest moment of motherhood. I became frustrated with my son during homework time. He saw my frustration and he cried. I felt awful that I wasn't more patient. I will try very hard not to do that again. I don't think he will be on Oprah about it, but I still feel bad.
Tomorrow I promise to read all the comments. I can't wait to do it.
We went shopping tonight, because I love January's sales. I think I have said before that I get all my kids clothes for the next year. I got all kinds of shirts at JcPenny's for 6 dollars and pants for $8. I love finding deals.
I also bought a pair of KEDS at JCPenny's for $5. That was my best deal.
