NJ Housewives....what a mess, I can't believe these women agreed to doing this show, you have to wonder (beside the money) what they get out of it. I guess that's it, the money and then the quick and short fame they will get from it. Franklin Lakes (where most of them live) is a upscale town, with homes of a million or more, you have to wonder how they face their neighbors. Teresa's new home is in Montville, which is another upscale town. The communion I went to a couple of weeks ago was in Montville, the homes there are again a million or more. Montville is such a quiet peaceful town, just like Franklin Lakes, the stir that this show is making, must have these towns in a buzz.. They certainly can't be proud, can they?
As I watch this show, I just shake my head at these Italian Jersey Girls, because I know for fact its all true. Jersey Girls need to put on a show, their house has to better then the others, their hair, jewelry, husbands etc. all have to be noticed and better than the rest. The big hair, french manicures, boobies all come with being a Jersey Girl. And all that I have mentioned are fake, just as they are.
The restaurant that served as the "fight sight" is 15 minutes from where I live, I can't even believe they allowed that to go on there. But then again, the restaurant gets exposure as well, so in the end they benefit to.
I am so different from the Jersey Girls portrayed, and thank goodness for that. Yes I am a Jersey Girl, but so not fake. I am real and proud of it. However on a side note, I can be loud at times and have been know to
throw a punch or two.. lol
Geez, this show gets my irritation level to the highest!

Carol I have watched all of the housewives shows except Atlanta. I even toyed with a blog because these shows are so over the top. HOUSEWIVES my ass!!!! I think I have seen two of them cook and none of them clean!!!
OH and those CA housewives don't get them to close to the bbq or they would melt faster than the wicked witch around water!

I have to say I had a stereotyping moment when Teresa paid 120,000 cash for the furniture to go in her new house. My eyebrows shot up and I mumbled Mafioso! Who the hell pays 120,000 CASH like that?? She just pulled out of her purse like it was an everyday thing, like buying groceries. YIKES
Oh and Carolines kid that wants to start a car wash strip club, OY! LMAO Mommy just wants him to have a strip club she can be proud of???? Lord!
These shows are like watching a train wreck. I just can't stop, it is mesmerizing in a voyueristic way.
How come all the housewives I know wear jeans and sweat shirts and cook and clean? Not only do they clean this one gal I know has a hazmat kit for her car!

Carol, I have never watched any of the "housewives" shows. I did try to tune into the NJ one a couple weekends ago, but even tho it was listed, there was another show instead.
My sister in law is a Jersey Girl, I can't stand her. She is nothing like you describe, although she is proud to tell everyone she is a Jersey Girl.
She is a bitch, probably the only thing remotely close to the housewives, besides being born there.
At their wedding reception she even had the Jersey Girl song played.
I will have to try watching again!

CAROL: I have never watched any of the Housewives reality shows. I am surprised I missed a reality show and now you have peaked my interest.
I have watched two episodes of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here...on the second one I ended up falling asleep. They try to compare themselves to Survivor and it is nothing like it. The other night (before I fell asleep) they had to postpone the challenge because it was raining!!! Now really..raining....Survivor would never do that plus they get better food and cots to sleep on! Terrible show in my opinion.
ZONA: All I can say is that I am glad I have the necklace BEFORE you do. I think TINA gets it after you...lucky TINA!!

J/L: I have a Blackberry Curve and I think Mary just recently got one too. I love it and thought I wouldn't. It took me awhile to learn things on it and I still don't know how to do some of the things. Are you going to get the internet on it? I guess that is what I like the most and I even taught Mary how to find and bookmark the nest on hers...amazing that I could teach someone on this phone. I also like the keyboard for texting. They will give you a CD to watch with the phone and then I went on line to Blackberry and they had a good video to watch on there too. It sounds like the price of free is a pretty good deal too.
The traveling necklace went to school today and was worn by "Ruth Handler" the woman that invented Barbie and Ken dolls. I will post pictures later. I need to think of some exciting things to wear this necklace too.
My husband and I had so many things to do after the school function that he suggested we stop at our favorite Mexican place to eat. You all know that I was so sad because I wanted to come home and whip up a meal....not!!! You don't have to ask me twice!

Justlin, I have had my BlkBerry Storm for over a month. I has taken some getting used to! I almost threw it in the river a million times! Now that I am not all thumbs I am doing better. The only thing they didn't tell me was that you have to keep it updated through your computer once in a while. I was having trouble with it constantly shutting down. I thought it was the battery. It turned out there was a new update since I bought it. I updated and all is well, well kinda lol! I have to make a call tomorrow on something else. I think they are still trying to get all the kinks out of it.
Zona, I would be lost without my "bare minerals" make up! I needed to cover up the little red spot that the zit left on my nose lol!
ZONA & TURTLE - Thanks for the well wishes for the boys. Tim got a solid 2 innings of pitching in...only gave up one hit. And he hit a triple and first to score on his team. It was not enough, because his team lost 5-3. Jake's team rallied, but they also lost tonight.
I am exhausted. Two games back to back. But hey...it was a gorgeous warm evening and I even got a little color!!

JUSTLIN: So Mary has a Storm and I have a Curve. I have had mine for about 1-1/2 years and I haven't had to update it on my computer unless I change my password. Posting on the nest is not texting it is just like sending an email. The biggest thing I don't like on it is remembering to delete emails as they stack up on the computer and the phone since any sent to your computer will go to your phone...which is what I like but I just am not good at deleting.
Diane, I delete as soon as I read the email. I only delete to my phone now because my trigger finger was deleting stuff I hadn't read lol!
Tinka, I feel your pain! It is cool and rainy here. My knee is giving me a hard time today. I will have to shut down early tonight because it hurts to sit too long. We went to a horse farm today where once again no one mates the natural way.
We saw 85 foals and they all came from surogant mothers.
They took the sperm and eggs from well breed top of the line horses and made embroys. Then they stuffed those embroys into mares that were only good for birthing.
A really well breed mare produces one foal every 11 months. But now due to technology she can produce like seven in a year with the help of surrogants.
Scrishy: Not yet... and not for several weeks! That was ONE of the ploys I mentioned after I made the initial purchase... to pay extra for a faster delivery, or not, and have to wait four to six weeks for it to arrive.
I kid you not. Four to six weeks. The whole thing was SUCH a scam!

I haven't read the blogs or the comments since I've been here, but I do want to thank everyone for all the prayers, good thoughts and wishes for Chad. I've been getting updates from MEK amd Zona. Chad and I both really appreciate all the love that you have shown. I swear I can feel it from here.
Chad is doing well except for a lot of swelling in his lower extremities. I swear his feet look like Flintstone feet, but the docs are giving him drugs that are designed to eliminate fluid. So far they haven't done too much. I still don't know exactly when he will get out of the hospital.
