Love Actually is one of my favorite movies and this song has become one of my favorite Christmas songs~ I've been thinking about posting it for a while now. Every time someone asks me what I want for Christmas, I think....I just want my family. I want them happy and healthy, and in the case of my kids, working hard at school. I don't need any material things......well, except for maybe the Gypsy which may be purchased online, or at Robert's Crafts, or at Michael's. :D Mostly, though......all I want for Christmas is you....and you...and you....~
So then I was reading my emails and Zona sent me two videos. I about wet my pants....I called her immediately.....it was like she was reading my mind! Here are two alternate versions of the same song, sung by Mariah Carey instead....I don't care for her, but I really liked the videos~ :)~

Tina I love this movie and the music. Thank you for this video this morning. What is it about these Brit men? I just can't seem to get enough of them.
Not a whole lot I want either just everyone to happy and healthy,... oh wait and the damn temps to get above thirty here and hold! There that is it. I would even take a lump of coal as I could burn it out back in the burning barrel for warmth.

I almost missed that I am very sleep deprived. Watched the grandsons last night and Mr. Lynn D and I got home at 3:30 am and I have not been to bed. I did nap on the daughters couch for two hours, but really that is just not enough sleep! LOL

TINA: LOL! I was looking for the version of this video with Hugh Grant the other night when I stumbled on the ones of your husband and your boyfriend and had to send them to you. I'm glad you were able to find the video you used today though..I mean GC and JBJ are hot..but they're no Hugh Grant..ijs.. ;)
Love the movie "Love Actually" and this version of the song the best..I'm not a big Mariah Carey fan either..great choice today TINA..thank you!

Well..our shopping trip was pretty successful yesterday..we didn't get home until after dark..and boy was I tired. I actually fell asleep in the chair without even changing my clothes. Mr Z finally woke me up so I could go to bed..and I slept until just a little while ago. It's cold and overcast here..just the kind of day that makes you want to stay curled up under the covers...but there are places to go and people to see..wait that's not until tomorrow..maybe I will crawl back into bed... ;)

I know I haven't posted on here for a while, but we know that my Mom does have Cancer, its called Small Cell Lung Cancer, She has two masses in her lung one is the a little bigger than a golf ball the other one is about the size of a baseball and thats in the middle of her RT Lung and connected to her mediastinum, the mediastinum contains the tube for the blood flow to the lungs and heart, (I think), it also contains the windpipe (trachea) and her esophagus. She has Spots on her Spine, and on her Liver he said many.
We seen the oncologist on Friday, Dec. 4. My mom asked how long does she have and he answered her ummm 6-12 months with Chemo. 2-4 with no Chemo. 6-12 months also contains radiation treatsments which she cannot have, because the doctor told us that with the amount of radiation she would need would kill her faster than the Cancer. She chose to go for Chemotherapy. She starts tomorrow, and goes Tues and Wed. Then shes done for 21 days and goes for another 3 days, After the second round they will give her a scan and see how the Chemo is working. If its going good she will go for another 2 rounds and then shes done.
I'm asking you for your prayers, we are all very scared and nervous. I have my cousin with me because shes been thru this with her husband and he passed in 2003 I feel comfortable with her here, because I scared that I won't be able to handle it or I'll freak out if something happens.

Shirley & Renee: I am so sorry for your situations right now. I do take to heart all you are saying even if I don't always comment. Sometimes, I read it late and don't want to bring it up again, but you guys are always in my thoughts.
My aunt who's birthday is one day before mine was told that she had lung cancer, 99% sure. Well, she found out a few days ago that the tumor is on the OUTSIDE of her lung and it is NOT cancer!! We were all so happy to hear it!

OMG<> I had the best find today! I was dreading putting up the big old christmas tree and totally forgot that I bought a smaller pre-lit one after Christmas last year. SO, I put it up..lickity split. So sweet!

Finally my password worked today.
Tina - I tried a few times this morning and when it wouldn't work I gave up. I wanted to say how much I love that movie and that song. I have a bear that sings it (it's her voice). Everytime I pass by it I squeeze its hand to make it sing to me. I love the George C. one too.. Great choice for a Sunday, thanks.

Tina Sorry about your windshield. What caused it? Do you know?
I had a nice time at the Christmas dinner/party. It was hosted by the veterinary clinic and held at a local restaurant. I had a couple of very spicy and good Bloody Marys. The food was buffet style and quite good but the only dessert was fruit. When I left, I asked the restaurant's Maitre d'/Host for a slice of chocolate cake to take home. He gave it to me at no charge, which I thought was very nice. He's always been very nice to me.
