Getting ready to go to the play Little House On The Prairie. Two of the people that usually go gave me their tickets to take my granddaughters so it should be fun...dinner and play.
I have to tell all of you another funny grandchild statement. My 11 yr old likes a boy and was getting him a little present and making a card. I kiddingly told her to put lipstick on and kiss the back of the envelope. She said, "nana, you are crazy. That's what they did in the 60's during the war." These kids think I am a very silly nana anyway but it made me laugh.
One other thing. I was on FB and saw a post from a boy in her class (5th grade) and it said something about liking G Spots. His aunt commented to him that it wasn't nice to post that and did he know what it was. He said he heard it in a song and he was quoting exactly what the song said. He then said he googled it and he would take it off. His Aunt told him she didn't think he knew and that would be good to not post that. Wow...what they hear in songs!

OMG, that was lame! But I couldn't help it... I'm so SCREWED too. I went to a Christmas party up in San Francisco last night rather than being sensible. Result: More than half my Christmas Cards aren't done, I just got finished wrapping presents, Huz kept me up more than half the night snoring, and when I finally got to sleep I had one of my horrible recurring dreams that something had gone wrong with my job in California and I was having to go back to teach at the University of Waterloo... yikes!!!!
