My best gift is a day that I get to relax and play on my farms! Wohoo. Just have to get stuffing made in a little while and the rest of the day is coasting. That was my gift from my family! The best one ever!

Just got back from Dad's. Eric made the roast beef and I made cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole and spice cake with peanut butter frosting for dessert!!

Hi everyone and Merry Christmas even if it is a little bit late and actually 2 minutes after Christmas here. We just got home and unpacked the car. Bags are all around and I seriously doubt I will empty them tonight. It was a great two days with my kids, uncles, grandkids, brother, sil, ex-husband and wife and cousins. It was a great family day and my DIL fixed a wonderful dinner with some leftovers to bring home. We all brought something to contribute.
CAROL: I am always with my ex and his wife (we call her my ex=wife) for the last 35 years. I don't mind either as I am always reminded as why I am not married to him and glad that she is instead. It works fine with the kids, etc. Your SSO sounds like a keeper and great shopper.
TINA: Glad you arrived safe and how scary that all that bomb stuff was on any plane but especially your airline.
I am also glad you are enjoying that whiny singer Jennifer on Sugarland. It was hard to buy the Sugarland CD and Sarah Palin book (for my brother) all at one time for me...my hard earned money!!
MO AND ZONA: I bought the frozen monkey bread for breakfast today at my daughters and it was really good.
It has been snowing lightly tonight and very cold out. I am glad to be home and be in my own bed tonight. My 11 yr old granddaughter slept with me last night and I thought she would never stop talking. At 2:30AM I finally had to pretend that I was asleep. I told her that her sister would be pretty disappointed in the AM to find Santa didn't come because she didn't go to sleep.
I hope everyone had a nice day and can relax over the weekend. I like that Christmas is on a Friday and now there is the weekend ahead of us.
Dianne I'm glad I have the weekend to relax, too. I am absolutely exhausted from Christmas. LOL

I can't sleep. It's almost 3:00am. I feel bad that this is the first time that I had a chance to wish you all a Merry Christmas. We honestly never stopped for three days and I kept going as fast as my sore legs would let me. We had the immediate family here Christmas eve for food and presents. We were at Cara's by 10:00 am Christmas morning for more food and presents. At four the extended family started arriving, (about 20). We had dinner at six and more presesnts. We were in bed by midnight but now my legs are hurting so much I can't sleep. Christmas is wonderful but I think next year we may just hibernate at the trout farm with our fur babies.
