DEE DEE...with that haircut and make-up it is easy to see why you aren't getting any. Ooops, that isn't what you said!

We're having a tropical heatwave today...30*

DeeDee said...

ohhh...I feel a song coming on!!!

We're havin a heat wave
A tropical heat wave
The temperatures rising, it isn't suprising
She certainly can, can can!

She started a heatwave
By letting her seat wave,
in such a way that the customers say
that she certainly can, can-can!

Gee, Gee!
Her anatomy
Makes the mercury
Rise!
to ninety three

We're havin' a heat wave
A tropical heat wave
The way that she moves
The thermometor grooves
that she certainly can!

"What's your name honey?"
"Pablo."
Certianly can
"Chico"
Certainly can
"Miguelito."

"Pablo, Chico, Miguelito"
OOOH! Can Can

"Pablo, it say here under 'weather report'
It's saying, a friendly warm air is
moving in from..."

"WHERE?"

"Jamaica- moderatly high air pressure will cover the north east and.."

"WHERE ELSE?"

"The deep south..
small danger of..."

"WHAT?"

"Fruit frost!
Hot and Humid nights can be expected!"

"Vincent 95, Guadeloupe 97, Santo Domingo 99. Pardon me? 105?"

We're having a heat wave
A tropical heat wave
The tempurature's rising
it isn't suprising, I certainly can- can!

I started this heatwave in such a way
that the customers say that I certainly can (can-can)

The man who need
Makes the mercury rise to 93
We're having a heatwave, a tropical, a tropical heatwave
the way that I move, that thermometer grooves

She certainly certainly certainly can

I certainly certainly certainly can can-can

Happy Saturday, Tina, 'weenie, and the fabulous DeeDee!

I love snowmen, especially as depicted in cartoons!

Well, home sweet home after a week long business trip to Houston, where I was treated to below freezing temperatures, the hotel bathroom from hell (plugged up toilet, water handle in the shower that locked up, no WiFi in the room) and endless 10 hour workdays.

SO good to be home!

DeeDee said...

OMG! You got to stay in one of the Space Shuttles!!??

Had I known you were in Houston we could have choppered you back and forth from the manse...

TINA: I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes! My fave cartoon here is 'Eggplant casserole tonight?'. I actually have a couple of the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip books. Next to Bloom County..one of my very favorites. Thanks for the smiles this morning!

Oh and TINA..lovely moaning today!

DEEDEE: I have to go look up the video! :D

..I hope you moved me from the top shelf to a lower one..you know, just in case something I say makes my voodoo doll accidentally fall..easier recovery from a lower shelf! ;D

MO: We are too..it's 75 right now!! I hope you had a good time today! :)

BEAR: Welcome home! Now relax and enjoy your weekend! :)

And out the door I go..Have a great day everyone!!!

Good evening feathered friends!

Saw Gnomeo and Juliet today...too freaking cute! The animation was incredible and the music of Sir Elton John. Go see it if you can.

Then I spent the rest of the afternoon going from store to store looking for protective underpants for Joanne! They only have S/M in the stores and they are too big on her. What are these poor sick little old ladies to do?
I might have to call in some favors from one of the medical supply companies I work with.

Hmmm,TMI? LOL!

Hi to WHABBY and ZONA

Good Afternoon Everyone and a special Good MOANING to TINA...first again!~!

TINA: Very cute cartoons. I like the one with the water bottle....funny!

DEEDEE: Have someone at the mansion explain the jokes to you and then you will get a chuckle.

BEAR: All the way to Houston and no meals with the infamous DEEDEE. I thought she might have her driver pick you up and let cook....cook for you. Hmmm...what happened to the Texas charm?

MO: What are you doing that is so fun today? We have 55 weather and I won't leave the house with my black eyes, etc.

DEEDEE (AGAIN): I loved your singing. I always liked that song and was almost able to sing along with you except for a verse or two.

SHIRLEY: Where are you? You aren't working weekends too , are youZ? Miss you....

Dianne/Denver said...

Well MO...I guess if I would finish reading before I comment I would have known what you were doing. I mentioned taking my grandkids to that movie but they "think" they are too old for cartoon movies. They want to see Justin Bieber and NOT with me!! Glad you had a good day and loved the movie. I would have gone with you.

ZONA: Out doing your shopping? Glad to hear MrZ's knees are doing better. You must be a good little nurse. Have a nice day in that beautiful weather...before you know it you will be jumping in that pool!

Hi BEBBI: What are you up to this weekend? Are you behaving? Hope not....:)

Dianne/Denver said...

TINA: Is it true? My MSN says "NASCAR GETS UNDERWAY TONIGHT?"

Maureen said...

DIANNE...We went to the matinee and I would say that 90% of the audience was older adults. THere was a little girl sitting behind us and when Gnomeo and Juliet kissed she yelled "ICK"!! The whole theatre burst out laughing!

BEBBI...good evening!

What was that Horrible Noise?? Oh. DeeDee singing again. I thought someone had parked their car on a dozen cats' tails.

Tina, cute cartoons. Those annihilated snowmen; That might just be a Freudian slip. For you, I mean. Snowman murderess.

I went whale watching in a kayak today. It's nice getting there and seeing the whales, but then you realize you've got to kayak 2 miles back. Bummer.

Happy Saturday Owls...or Sunday for the East Coast Owls.

I have been cleaning out the back room which I have been putting off for far too long. I started at noon and I'm still not done. I just kept putting stuff back there to get it out of sight and now I can't believe how it piled up. So now I'm trying to figure out what to do with all this s*%t. I think it's time to take a load to Goodwill.

Tina, You were moaning early this morning. I love Calvin and Hobbs. These are strange but really cute.

Mo, Sharon and I are going to see that movie next week. We love the 'kids' movies. We also want to see the one with Johnny Depp, I can't remember the name but I think he plays a lizard.

DeeDee, you're in great voice today.

Bear, Welcome home.

Zona, Did you get it all done?

Di, Why don't you borrow some of Dee's make-up and no one will notice your black eye.

Mary, Been thinking 'bout ya. ((HUGS)).

Waving to all the other Owls. Going to bed early so I can get an early start tomorrow. Sweet dreams Owls, and you lurkers too.

Thanks, everybody, for your welcome home wishes! Zona, I wish I could enjoy the weekend, but I've got a seminar to prepare for Tuesday, so I had to work today and tomorrow morning too. No rest for the wicked!

Barb: Sorry about that shitload! One of the jobs that just seemed to never end in connection with my remodel was going through the 14 years worth of accumulated crap, sorting it into "this should be kept" and "this should be tossed" categories. Yuck. No wonder you put it off!

Tina: You little sweetheart, you! Thanks so much for the Valentine's Day card!
