my favorite show is coming back
tonight, i have missed it so much
i love all the characters and the
meaning behind them all
their faults out way all that they
are and i love watching them grow
i route for mcdreamy and meredith
in each and every episode, i just feel
they need to be together
it seems to me that almost every
episode is just so true to life
the struggles, the happiness, the loss
when izzie fell in love with denny
as he lay in bed dying, my heart
was saddened for her, as you really
felt the love, when her friends surround
her and carry her off, you know if it
were you, friends would be needed
and they would be there
i don't remember a show ever having
a affect on me like grey's does, i feel
like i know all of them, and sometimes
i can even predict what will happen next
i remember the episode when mcdreamy
had to pick between his wife and meredith
and meredith just looked at him and said
"pick me" as the tears streamed down
my face, i knew he would pick his wife
which he did
i adore that meredith is cristina's
"person" cristina seems so strong
yet, she so needs meredith
i am excited about tonight, i can't wait
to see where all the characters are going
and were they have all been
this is a special show for me, for some
reason it just gives me the hope that
one can love, whether they are together
or apart, the love is there, raw and real

I feel so out of the loop for not having seen "Grey's Anatomy". Vig and a few others have convinced me to see season one. That is what I am going to do as soon as we get into the Month of May.
cpgem - I have NEVER watched Grey's - I think when it started - I thought - I was addicted to too many shows and just didn't start!!

CPGEM: Oh man! I share your excitement over the return of Grey's Anatomy!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!
I don't know if I have ever been so emotionally invested in any other TV show, like I am with this one. I laugh, cry...and get mad all in the course of one hour. It can truly wear me out.
I am so mad at McDreamy for taking up with Nurse Hatchet..sorry that's what I call her...among other things (right VIG??). I want Meredith and him to live happily ever after. I don't want him to look at anyone else, and boy do I get mad when he does. And why does he? Because she's afraid? Oh puh-leez!! Grrrr.
I felt awful for George and Izzie..wanted that to work out so badly. And when Christina walked into the empty apartment? Bring on the kleenex.
My favorite scenes?? The night of the prom of course. Denny and Izzie. Derrick and Meredith...such a good episode.
I will be parked in front of the TV tonight too. I love this show.

As for Pizza Slut pasta- sorry about your experience. We tried it a couple of weeks ago- the chicken alfredo one, and it was sooo good!
I knew I could make a better marinara one, so opted for the 11.99 alfredo with breadsticks.
The babies are coming! I'm on the countdown to grandbabies. The should be at my house in about 20 hours. They are driving thru the night and should get to me about 6 am. You know what that means, I will lay awake and not sleep one minute tonight while I worry and wait for them to get here safe and sound.
I was very surprised by the Idol boot last night. Survivor tonight!!!

My fav episode, or double episode, were the ones with Baby Bomb Squad Guy. That's how Katie and I refer to it. What's his name, Kyle Chandler I think. But when Baby Bomb Squad Guy walks out bomb in hand and Meredith is behind him and all of a sudden he blows up......cried my freak'n eyes out! Bawled like a baby.

One of my Favs was the train wreck episode and the woman and man that had the metal pole speared through them. I cried like crazy on that one and the acting was so good!

Yeah Zona: Our local soap lady covers the night time shows too. She announced last week that since her spin off was not renewed the rumors were that Addison was coming back to Grey's.

I think a favourite for me has to be the classic...the last show of season two (I think it was season two!)...wtih Denny and the hospital prom and Alex lifting Izzie away from Denny on the bed and holding hew while she cried and the song! Vig: Yes it is Cindy on NW afternoon. Sometimes she drives me crazy but occasionally she gets some scoop that makes me check in to see if she knows anything. She has been on that show for 20 years knows and alot of the soap stars and she will get some info on the sly. She even got a telephone interview with Tony Geary from GH a couple of weeks ago and he rarely does interviews.
Ok another fav episode of Grey's when Meredith helped the little boy trick or treat for ears. Loved that one!
IBB: Funny about the Sopranos..when it first started, I didn't realize it was going to be a series. I watched the first episode and my mom asked me how it was. I said "Good..but they kinda left it hanging.." LOL!

The plans are to go to Mom's house tomorrow with a uhaul and the kids are loading up somethings they are getting from my mom to take back home. Dining set, etc.
Having my Bro and family up on sunday for dinner with them and my mom is coming Saturday and staying the night.
The only other plans are too PLAY with my grandbabies. Apparently I am the fav "mommy heidi" right now because I bought them sidwalk chalk! Everynight they get home they have to go outside and use the chalk. I guess Brynn insists- Gavin just tries to eat it. LOL

Earlier I was searching Playlist.com for 'Blue' by Leeann Rimes to add to my playlist (have the cd, but the IDOL discussion of the idea of Kristy Lee singing it made me go searching). Didn't find it, but while searching I saw a listing for 'blue/gershwin' just hiding there in lower case at the bottom of a page. Hmmmmmmmm. My first Playlist.com search had been for my all-time favorite piece of music, 'Rhapsody in Blue' done by Leonard Bernstein & the NY Philharmonic. Couldn't find it, so had to settle for a lesser version. It just wasn't the same :--( . Clicked on this little number and OMG, THAT'S IT!!!!!! Sixteen & a half minutes of musical bliss! I'm SUCH a happy girl. It's a GOOD day.

She's not loyal to any alliance she makes so I'm baffled as to why other tribe members keep trusting her. She blindsided Yau-Man and Ozzy, my 2 favorites, so I would love to see the same thing happen to her. I doubt it will happen tonight, but I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed. :)
BON - I love Rhapsody in Blue....and you're right the Gershwin one is the best!!! I'm listening to it right now. Thanks for finding it and sharing!! Although a close second favorite of this piece of music is when the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corp performed it as part of their show (good grief I think back in 1986 or 1987?). I am also a HUGE Grey's fan. I hadn't heard about Addison's return. Maybe it will make Meredith finally realize what she is missing...other then pyschological help!
I also love ER, and JODI, I agree that it lost something when Noah Wylie left. I hear that they are trying to bring a lot of the old cast members back next season for appearances, since it is the last season.
I wish I could stay and play tonight, but I am leaving for out of town tomorrow from work, so I have to pack and get a lot of shit done tonight...and try to sleep earlier!
Maybe if there is wireless in the room tomorrow, I can spend some time here after I get settled in.

Zona...okay, I think you are leaving it up to me to spill the beans on McStiffy. When Zona and I first started chatting back and forth on MS, we talked alot about Grey's. We were still on the other blog and I was scrolling down quickly and saw the name MysticTiffy which got changed in my brain to McStiffy! I was convinced that was what I had read and had to check it out to see that my brain was playing tricks. I e-mailed Zona and told her about this..and we decided that McStiffy on Grey's could definitely be assigned to that horndog Alex Karev. So Alex is the infamous McStiffy!

Hi...I also love GA...I completely agree with you AMICUS...Merideth needs to quit messing around. I didn't want Izzie to go with George as I feel sorry for Callie! ZONA, did you watch McSteamy on Leno last night? He is promoting his new movie Maid Of Honor. Did you see him in Enchanted? My favorite GA show was the one when Izzie was in bed with Denny when he died. Boy, that brought tears.
Yesterday I went to see the movie Stop-Loss. I think it is a true story and very good. It is with Ryan whatever that was married to Reese Witherspoon.

Lynn: Before the writer's strike, my aunt told me she thought Dr. Hahn and Callie were going to become romantically involved. I didn't agree with her at the time, but it was just mentioned during the preview for next week. That could be the shocking kiss. Also, you were right about Addison. If you're on Internet Explorer:
1. Go to 'Tools' on IE
2. Click on 'Security'
3. Select "Custom Level"
4. Scroll down to 'Miscellaneous'
5. Within Miscellaneous, find subsection for 'Display Mixed Content'
(this is for Secure/Unsecure, i.e. text AND photos, etc.)
6. Set 'Display Mixed Content' radio button to 'ENABLE'
(default is 'Prompt', which is what causes the lockbox to come up every time)
7. Click on 'Apply' at the bottom of that IE controls window.
8. Close Internet Explorer to get the change to 'take'.
9. Reopen Internet Explorer, sign back into the blog, & you'll no longer get the lockbox, and will be able to see profile photos, etc.
