It is Cherry Blossom time here in NJ, and they are just beautiful, last year I wrote a blog about these charming Cherry Blossom's.

The trees are so beautiful. We have flowering Hawthorn trees planted in the next town. I just love when they are all in bloom. They are bright lipstick pink and white and are so striking!
I wanted to go and just stand in the park with you and enjoy the sun and trees.

CPGEM: What a gorgeous video! I wish we had trees like that here. This may be a silly question..but are those trees ornamental..or will they have cherries on them in a couple months? I feel like a dope asking..but I'm curious.
I love riding with you in the car..it reminds me of the Sunday drives my family used to take when I was a kid. We would go to the most beautiful places..then end up at AW for rootbeer.

Thanks for the ride-a-long. As us kids we're born my parents planted an oak tree for each of us. Then my Mom decided she needed a tree and she chose a Cherry Blossom. It was planted just outside of my bedroom window and every spring it bloomed and GiGi the gramma who lived next door used to sit in her bedroom and gaze out at that tree as did my Mom from our patio. Good memories your little trip reminded me of.

I want to let you know that Jennifer gave birth last night to Georgina. She weighs 5lb 12oz & 18inches long. Jennifer had a bit of preeclampsia prior to birth, but ultimately every thing is fine. She was in labor quite a few hours, but once she started pushing she gave birth within about 40 min. Thank you to all of you who were so interested in her progress.
