How can you tell my hands are feeling better today? I had better tell Little Brown Owl to take a rest. I had the most wonderful birthday. It was so much fun having the whole family together for my birthday dinner. We went to "Pescatorie's - a lovely restaurant where we were on New Year's Eve.

I am so sorry about Paula, I know how special she was to you and Mr EBJ..
That building was a Nursing Home at one time, it also housed mental challenged ppl. It is owned by the county, they shut it down several years ago, cause the funds were not there to keep it going. It is now rented out, my a research firm, who does extensive research on cancer.
It is quite beautiful, and they take very good care of it. The lawn is so well maintained..
I was in there once many yrs ago to visit my Aunt, it was sad at the time tho, so I can't say the inside was amazing. It has not been renovated at all, so the inside is still the same as when it was built.. (not sure when that ones tho)..

Carol - Thanks for the game and the history of the building. Our Catholic cathedral rectory was used as a New York house in the re-making of "Little Women". Boy they sure go to a lot of work to duplicate a situation. The whole street was covered with dirt, for example, just to make it look like 1905.
