I felt guilty after Bonachichi said that no one sent her eggs! I feel like I haven't been on facebook in FOREVER!!!! I've signed in, but usually for 10 minutes in the morning and about 30-45 minutes before I go to bed. I can't even harvest and plant on FarmTown (my favorite) in the same night. I'm too tired and it takes too much time. My Hatchlings have all been caught by the pet police, or whatever they are called. Shoot! I used to collect 100 eggs every night! That was my goal last quarter. I don't go into Farmville anymore.....never liked it anyway. I can't keep up with Island Paradise. I seem to be doing well on Tiki Resort, mostly because it takes so little time. I don't read updates, unless they are at the top when I sign in. On my way home from work today, I asked myself why~
I started working my 5am shift. I have Thursday's and Friday's off and work on the weekends now. It seems that all my free time is taken up on the lacrosse field. My senior is on the Varsity team, my freshman boy is on the Freshman/Sophomore team and occasionally plays on the JV team, and my freshman girl is all three teams' manager. It's really exciting (not!) when one of the boys has a double header. We are at the field at least 2-3 times a week, rain or shine (mostly rain....and some snow). AND....I can't even be at all the games because I'm at work!
After that wonderful volcano erupted, and honestly, before that, work has been offering overtime AND double time. So I have worked every day since last Friday (I worked for Janice) until today (I'm working for Hollie), that's seven days in a row, and on top of that, I've worked 16 hours of overtime. I was fine until yesterday. It's finally catching up (as you can tell by my writing)! I'm exhausted! AND...on top of that, Bebbi is making me nervous about Chicago! I wasn't before. I've gained all my weight back, I have nothing to wear, I sure as hell am NOT getting my nails done, I'm bringing my Aunt Flo with me, I snore like a banshee (sorry Di!), and makeup? You gotta be kidding me! You can ask anyone who has met me.....I usually just come right up to you and hug you and smile! What you see, is what you get! There....I feel better now! Bebbi, I just might walk up to you and smack you! :)~
Getting back to my pitty party, I go to bed between 8pm and 9pm so I'm asleep by 9pm. I've been getting home so late this week, that it's been creeping closer to 10pm by the time I get to sleep! HEY!!!! Maybe that's why I'm so exhausted! I used to talk to Di almost every day. I didn't talk to her for over a week! And you know what I miss the most? Talking to DeeDee every night! I have no idea how I've managed to sleep without one good insult for each of us every night!
So there ya have it, Bonachichi~ That's my "why I haven't been sending you eggs!" I hope you forgive me~ :D

omg, Tina~ you made me so tired reading that!!! I sure hope Bonachichi forgives you~ :)~
Well I never!!! I practically had to threaten you to get IP Easter eggs and then I only got 2!!!!
And that was way pre-Easter....way before Mt. Kerfruegendergoober shot its wad!!
Well...its all water under the bridge.....with the end of time fast approaching (2012) all these things seem so petty......
And petty...as though they may be....if I ask for something...I WANT IT!! YESTERDAY!!
Bonachichi, you're a good egg. I'm sorry Tina has treated you this way. The truth is, she isn't sending you eggs because her freakin' shell is cracked. Tina is way too scambled to handle a simple request, never mind the fact that she is just a rotten egg and doesn't really give a quack about anyone but herself.
I mean really, that is so tacky...haha..Ms. pretty lady tina..and hello even prettier DeeDee and Lois.
Tina: Why am I making you nervous?
*looking at my checklist*
1. hotel directions
2. selecting clothes
3. Getting my gray gone.
4. Getting nails done.
5. Getting restaurants together that I must go and eat.
6. working out every day at least 15,000 steps
7. Keeping in my healthy eating choices (until I get to Chicago)...haha
8. Lose 20 lbs.
9. Find out everyone's flight times and phone numbers..check.
10. Give details to family in case I never return.
Nervous? I mean really think about it, we will be FACE TO FACE soon. How odd is that...coming out of our little woman caves and actually sitting down to have a coffee or diet coke. Running around enjoying the city..gosh, it's going to be so WEIRD.
OH, and Aunt Flo is staying this week so next week I will be very happy and the one week I am skinny and not a PMSing beeotch. So, you all are very blessed.
Morning Glories!
Tina you look radiant this morning! Now that said, I need some freaking Chocolate Liquor sent to me in FT pronto! Just squeeze it in between the laundry and exhaustion sex. K?
I too looked at my nails and said manicure? Not going to happen I do need to address my ingrown toenail that is forming but I will take care of that myself. The clothes thing is driving me crazy because I can't decide what the hell to wear because of weather issues oh and I need some good walking shoes. Trying to squeeze all of my travel crap in between food bank and getting things caught up at home.
Mr. Lynn D feels he might need some clean clothes and underwear before I leave. Sheeesh I am thinking about investing in a bag of depends for him. He gets clean undies and I won't have laundry when I get home. Win Win!
Tina you need a vacation. I heard about this trip where some lovely people are converging on Chicago and all you need is a smile and a welcome hug.
PS You Do need to brush your teeth more! There an insult for the day. :)
Oh and everyone please when you meet me just try to ignore the fact that my damn face is breaking out like a felon and wrinkle f@#$ing creams do not work!
Good Morning Hooters!!!!!!!!1
tina you pretty thing, you need a vaca. Perhaps a trip to Chicago will do it??
Lordy- how the hell am I going to lose 30 pounds by next week???
No manicure, pedicure or any other 'cure' happening here either. You all are going to have to take what you get.
Hope everyone has a good day today~~ I for one am at work, so not likely. ;(
Happy Thong Thursday Owls. I, for one, will not be wearing a thong, but for those of you who will, I hope you are comfortable.
Tina, your blog made me think of the years when I first started working at the Governor's Office and all my kids were in sports. It made me instantly tired. I hope this hectic schedule eases up for you soon. You certainly need more free time for all your virtual duties, which you are sorely neglecting.
I am going to see Little House on the Prairie with Melissa Gilbert playing the part of the Mom. It should be interesting.
Waving a wing to DeeDee, Lois, Bebbi, Lynn, Goldie, Carol (I hope your partner is doing well), and all the other Owls. BBL
LynnD: You are making me laugh!
I made much too much of an issue over those dang Easter Eggs. Tina, I know what it's like to be away from the draw of FB. I'm through with my hissy fit; no harm, no foul. We've all got other lives to lead.
Speaking of that, I want to send a thumb drive to Chicago for you all to copy and/or use on your OCs. I've got to do it by tomorrow at the latest. I need an address and/or keeper of the drive to send it to. I've written instructions and after running these programs, your PCs should humm!! Where/who can I send this package to?
So other Owls not attending Chi-Town also want a copy. Please let me know where I should send these additional drives to. Time's getting short, so ppls help me out.
TINA: I was wondering why I wasn't getting any "I need lots and lots of fuel" requests from you lately! I've been sending it anyway so you're all set when you get back to the farm. ;)
I don't know how you do it..work as much as you have been and still end up prettiest every morning. I can just imagine how you'll dazzle us when you've gotten enough rest!! :D
I have a feeling Chicago is going to be like a little slice of heaven to you..you'll be able to relax, laugh and the last thing you'll think about is work! Can that trip get here fast enough? I don't think it can.. :)
Loved your exhausted blog today TINA..you write so well, even with only one eye open.. :D
DEEDEE: I'll bet you have!! :D
BEBBI: If TINA smacks you when she sees you, just remember..it's a good thing.. :D
LYNN: LOL!!
GOLDIE: You don't need any 'cure' anyway.. :)
BARB: It's Earth Day..are you at least wearing something recyclable? ;) Enjoy the play..it sounds like it's going to be really good!
BONACHI: It's frustrating when you are only one egg away..all of us farmers understand that..lol.
LOIS: You're a goof! :D
I don't know if I will survive until then! I have camping this weekend, walking a runway on Monday, walking in a parade on Thursday, working in between, and then getting on the plane on Friday. If something happens to me before Friday, please think of me..haha.
Tina. I'm exhausted, too, but not from working but because I have a chest cold WHICH I BETTER BE DONE WITH BY NEXT WEEK and because I now have two old cats living in my bedroom and waking me up numerous times every night! Have I whined enough! Pass the tissues please.
I'm glad I'm not farming; too much freakin' pressure!
I have in my possession a copy of a letter complimenting Tina on the job she does....
She will prolly hurt me but I am going to post it..

Hi Cathy,
I just wanted to send a compliment on Tina’s ‘Above & Beyond’ service this morning. One of my Director’s, Derek, got a phone call this morning that his sister had suffered a massive coronary and he was trying to get to SEA. The only flight available on delta.com was the flight that departed ATL @ 9:45 pm and would get him into SEA after midnight.
I checked the earlier flights in travel net and one was showing availability, however, I couldn’t book it on delta.com. I called the executive desk and was lucky enough to get Tina on the phone. I explained the situation and she was able to get the last seat for Derek on the 6:45 pm flight. She had the flight booked in no time and also said she would try to keep an eye on the 4:20 flight and if a seat opened up, she would grab it for him. I was going to do that to, but it always nice to have an extra set of eyes.
At the same time, my SVP was standing in front of me and told me to check connections through MSP. I went on delta.com and while it was there, when I tried to book it, I kept getting a message that the fare was sold out. Once again I called the executive desk and spoke w/Tina. She still had Derek’s information and was able to book the reservation quickly, at the same time, apologizing (when there was no need to) for not thinking about a connection.
Needless to say, Derek was extremely grateful that he was able to get a reservation that would get him into SEA at 4:00 pm instead of 12:04 am.
I just really appreciated Tina’s compassion and willingness to at least attempt (I know how busy it can be in Res, since I used to work in Res, many years ago) to get him on an earlier flight.
Tina exemplifies the spirit that makes Delta stand out from the competition and her actions eased Derek’s stress level a great deal.
Kind Regards,
Laura
DeeDee. That was great! Thanks for posting it.
Tina. Kudos to you! And please don't hurt DeeDee.
"Tina exemplifies the spirit that makes Delta stand out from the competition"....
I posted this because she makes me proud...not just for this...but for being Tina...she is a bright light in my life and I love her so.....
excuse me now...I think I am going to wretch...
Btw, I'll be packing all my spackle and lacquor. My days of going without makeup in public are far behind me.
DeeDee. LOL
TINA: What a great letter about you and thank you for posting and sharing it DEEDEE. It always helps to be recognized for something you do and even more when you are stressed and tired...so kudos to you TINA!!!
Your blog made me tired. I know you have been working so much. I hesitate to even call you for fear of your cell being left on and waking you up. If only I could stay awake until 4:30AM and then we could talk more. Just think of all things we will have to talk about in Chicago.
Well, just had an interesting call from TINA and told her how much I liked the letter about her. She was puzzled and didn't think she had sent it to me....DEEDEE, she was thrilled (well it was a scream anyway) when I told her it was posted on the blog!! Be ready ....be very ready....
CAROL: Congratulations to your parents for their 58 years together...that is wonderful.
I have some comments on yesterdays blog:
MO: I am up for going for Chicago pizza after all they hype over the years and remember Leno said Chicago has the best Italian sandwiches.
J/L: I don't know about you but sweaters sound too warm for a 64 degrees and there is always some humidity to go with it there. I don't layer as I have enough layers of my skin without layering clothes too. I am just wearing my everyday pants, pull over tops and bringing a light jacket.
TINA: I was thinking of you today as I was driving my cart around Walmart shopping...and yes, I really do this as I just simply cannot walk that whole store.
BEBBI: Good news for me as the hotel called and my ax/chain saw has arrived. They told me my "package" was waiting for me. None of you thought to mail it ahead....so>>>>>>
BEBBI: I have a funny thing to tell you. I am going to visit (as previously mentioned) my cousins in Texas the end of May and I told them about that sandwich place you told me to go. Well, my oldest cousin is having a party for us with family and lots of friends of theirs I have met over the years and she told me to invite my friend. I had no idea who she was talking about and when I asked....it was you !! She thought you had moved across town so if you want to come to Houston around the 22.,come on down!
SACBARB: I am going to see Mama Loved Diesels tonight. I did see the show you are going to with Melissa and we loved it and she did a great job in it so I think you will like it. We also took my two granddaughters and they really liked it too. The oldest GD was reading it in school. Hope you like it too....let me know.
I was in and out all day yesterday and today as well. I need to go and do a few things before I have to leave so hope all of you are doing great today.
TINA - I feel for you and your schedule. I work retail and for over 6 years I worked prolly 99 % of the weekends. 3 years ago I fought for and finally got every other weekend. I really don't mind, cuz it gives me the best of both worlds. On the weekends that I work I have the Friday and Monday off around it, so I usually don't have to work more than 4 in a row. Although I have been in the situation of switching weekends and then it puts me on 8-10 days in a row. Not fun!!!
Can't wait for Chicago. I soooooooo need a girls weekend!!! As for me....take me as I am, although I ALWAYS fluff & spackle!!! And now that the weather is nicer, I best get the mower out and shave. Let the grooming begin!!! ;)
Dianne: I could probably come down to Houston around the 22nd. Did your friend know about Antones?
Oh, where do they live in Houston? I have friends in Deer Park.
Also, glad to hear you thought of mailing ahead. I do hope you used UPS. They are the most reliable and have the HUNKIEST drivers.
DeeDee: I wish I had a cheering section like Tina has in you. That is so sweet of you to post her complimentary letter. :) WTG Tina!
DEE DEE - Thanks for sharing the letter. TINA you truly are a gem!!!
P.S. TINA....I thought there was something up when I went zinging past u in Hatchlings....ijs!!!
BARB - Enjoy the show. I wish I would've gone when it played in Madison. I loved Little House!!!
Waving a wing @ LOIS, BEBBI, LYNN, GOLDIE, BONACHICHI, ZONA, and SLIN!!!
FROM AREA 51:
CAROL - What a sweet blog about your parents!! I can always see the love. My parents were married for 35 1/2 years when my Mom died. We threw them a 35th Anniversary party and I'm so glad we did!! One of my favorite memories is watching my Mom & Dad dance. They moved like they were one person....just made for each other. ♥
Good grief.....DIANNE....waving at you, too!!!
Tina you need sex...and lots of it! That will fix you up! (I was going to say "or knock you up" but I didn't think that would be appropriate for the blog). That's all I have to say about that!
Shirley! Hi!
DeeDee that's was an awesome letter. Thanks for posting it. When you work with the public it's always nice when you know you've done a good job for someone and they appreciate it. Well done Tina!!!!!
Hi Bebbi!
Afternoon all!
Deedee what a nice letter about Tina. It is always a marvel when someone recognizes good work and takes the time to write to someone about it! See Tina I always knew you had a sweet side.
Still working on the ingrown toe nail. Did have time to give myself a chocolate facial. No really a face mask that has chocolate it it. I smell like a damn Hershey Bar!
Dug some things out of my closet I won't be bringing. Decided to send them to the thrift store but still have no clue on the shoes. I may have to go very Northwest on you all and wear my Romeos. So don't be surprised!
SHIRLEY - lmao.....!!! Waving @ you!!
LYNN - Whatever you wear will be fine!!! Go for the crocs....TINA'S favortie!!!
that would be TINA's favorite!!!
Jodi are you drinking again?
Lynn it doesn't matter what you wear as long as the "special" parts are covered!
Bebbi do you like my avatar? It's a deep dish pizza from Lou Malnatis that K-girl recommended to you on FB.
Carol congrats to your parents on surviving 58 years of marriage without committing homicide! Happy Anniversary from Nova Scotia!!
SHIRLEY - I'm not drinking....r u?!!?
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!
left, left, left, right, left!!!

I best get going....gotta go feed the rugrats!!
I hope everyone has a great night ♥

SHIRLEY - I think YOU need to shave....ijs!!!
Shirley: It looks like flowers when I click on it.
Its not flowers Bebbi!!! Its me being defaced!!
Shirley is defacing me again!!
Wow, you are right DeeDee...haha. Looks like you are a chinaman now...hehe. :) Good job Shirley!
I am gonna change my pic.
how does this one look?
I'm usually in jeans but are we dressing up a bit for dinner on Sat.night?
I don't know why Shirley singles me out...sniff...sniff....
I have always thought she was so sweet....
TINA: What a great letter..and well deserved. I remember hearing about many incidents like this where you were able to help someone get a flight when it didn't look possible. This is why you won a Customer Service recognition award last year..and will almost certainly get one again!
JODI: Seeing you march again warmed my cockles..ijs.. :D
Waving HI to DIANNE, SHIRLEY and J/LIN!
I had to spellcheck cockles..you'd think I'd know how to spell that.. ;)
Have a good night everyone!
J/L: That is a good question.
Oh No SHE DInDt

DeeDee who would you like me to target now?
DeeDee honey~ ur the naughtiest and sweetest old woman I know~ I love you too....and I don't even have to puke!!~ :D
Thanks everyone for the comments today~ I'm so pooped! Forgot to call my mom on my way home from work...she was shocked when I called her while I was making dinner....1. because I wasn't driving and 2. because I was cooking!!!! AND THEN...all three of my kids came home to say they had to turn around and leave to go to the spring concert at school for extra credit!!!!! So hubby and I had dinner (made for 6) just the two of us! I will announce this now and just get it over with....when all my children are gone off to college, I don't think he and I will last 2 minutes w/o killing each other!!!! omg!!!!~
oh......and I know everyone is busy, but can anyone write a blog or two? It would be nice to have them set to go for a week so we don't have to worry about them while we're in Chicago~ :D pretty please.....with deep dish on them~ :)~
Oh gosh, I don't have anything to say...what would I blog about? I am so boring.
Shirley......get Bebbi....

These 2 Chicago eateries made the 10th and 11th place on the list of the Top 100 Independent Restaurants in the country...
This list is based on revenue for the year and both these places did approx. $20 million each last year.....
Go to their websites or google them for reviews.....the bars are Chicago meeting places and they both sound fantastic!!
And both are on the magnificent mile.....
TINA...I am exhausted just reading your blog! And what a GREAT letter! As someone who trained employees in Customer Service, I can attest you are the epitome of a C.S professional. KUDOS TO U!
And, I don't care that you gained back any weight or if you have zits that need theri own zip code or if you really DO look like your avatar...can't wait to meet you!
ZONA...how's the knee? Mine is better (knock on wood!)
DIANNE...Pizza it is!
JUST LIN...I am probably only bringing jeans. I am taking the cas route! Outback isn't a fancy place, so jeans will be fine. As long as TINA doesn't wear her crocs, we will be ok!
BEBBI...if you lose 20 pounds you will be WAYYYYY too skinny.
OMG...I just noticed...2 QOTD's on the same page! Thanks DEE DEE and JUST LIN!
Bebbi said...

Thanks DeeDee..I am adding them to my list...it's getting kind of long for three days though.
Mo: I need to lose 20 lbs just to make it to my goal weight! But, thank you that was sweet of you to say. :)
Point taken, DeeDee.
TV UPDATE...
It works!! It also has a DVD player in it and that worked so I figured the TV was ok. I checked the converter box and a cable had come lose! I have it on now!! YAY!!
I have had Chicago Uno (I think that is the right name) pizza and it was really good. And filling. 1 pc was more then adequate. I hear that Lou Malnato's is the best. From more people then K-Girl!
Bebbi...darling....
When DeeDee gives you a recommendation....it goes at the top of your list....
of course if its a "dining disappointment" you want go with your little list.....if you wish to have the quintessential Chicago dining EXPERIENCE!!"....take heed....I don't make recommendations everyday....ijs...
Here you are DeeDee. I can't get the picture any bigger. Hope you like it. Nighty night!!
TINA and CAROL...you have email
Wow DeeDee both of those places look really good! But, Joe's had Calf Liver...and well, that is something I would not order if I went there..lol. I would probably do the Lobster Tempura.
Shirley! I look like a green haired bozo the clown! haha.
I've just put a thumb drive (instructions included) in an envelope bound for Tina. I've plenty more ready to go for those not going to Chicago. Tina will share with everyone in Chi-Town, but if you need your own, pls let me know. I've not read comments or mail yet, but if you've not already asked, pls do it quickly. I'm hitting the post office tomorrow (Friday).
Bebbi, if I were going to Chicago, we could have some midnight fun as roomies. Our imagination would be our only limit! How fun that would be!
Since everyone is worried about what to wear, I propose a dress code. Nekkid!
Bonachichi: I am good. I got my son who does all that for me. ..bless his little heart. :) But thank you so much!! :)
I know! Now I will be in that big ole room all by myself.
I have a horrible headache tonight. :( I hate my period.

Good night all and sweet dreams.
TINKA...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TINKA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! I hope you have just the lovliest of days.
Tina..
That is a great letter and very well deserved.. Kudos to you.. Thanks Dee for posting it..
So sorry you are so tired.. so much going on and just not enough time in the day. And that damn Volcano, it totally grounded the country, what a mess.. I know it must me hard to keep up with everything, but you do such a great job as being a mom, with all the crap that occurs, you still continue to be with your family..
Ok.. enough of the accolades.. :O)
Thanks for all the anniversary wishes for my parents..
I had a long a crappy day, so I am going to sleep in hopes tomorrow will be better..
hope everyones day was not crappy :O)
BEBBI - What's a period?!!? :P
HODI...a period is a punctuation mark indicating the end of a sentence. Or it is the indication of the beginning of a week long sentence to cramping, bloating and generalized bitchiness!
I like that explanation Mo..perfect. And, mine is the latter.
MO - It's just that I haven't had one in over 11 years!!!
