It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)
It is not about a single person, it is about all the people on any given day blended together.....Goldie!

Oh and good luck finding a wire coat hanger these days. Somehow I just don't think plastic will work.
I do think you could get a piece of elastic bedazzle it and strap your phone to your head. Ohhhhh good Idea! Deedee I have the bedazzler I am starting production on bedazzled iphone bandies.

Well I'll give it anyway....I have been to buy one of the phones twice and the second time "Jeff" who was going to put one back for me....didn't come in til noon so they were sold out of the 16 gig and I am bot paying $100 more for 32 gig when the original iphone that I have is 8 gig and even with over 5000 pictures and tons of music and apps I have only used half the storage.
The antenna thing is a non issue for me because my phone will certainly be in a protective case......
I want to upgrade to this amazing phone but I won't be standing in a line to do it...although I am very excited to play with the new features......
I am curious, how much are these iphones? some tell me $200.. some say $300... and some say if you sign up for ATT service its cheaper.. for some reason just can't get a straight answer..
Thanks..with the contract I don't think that is a crazy amount of money, some of Verizion phones are that cost as well.. and I agree, I am sure noone would buy without a contract.. just one more question.. how long is the contract? (sorry for all the questions)..
DeeDee, hilarious vid! I feel like her when I am at my sisters. You can talk inside if you are near a certain wall or outside if there is no blizzard! Her internet is the same. Yesterday she told me she was doing FB out on her porch! My service isn't too bad. I do have a few wire hangers just in case lol!

Apple has a cute thing called a "Bumper" that fits the edge of the phone all the way around thus keeping skin from touching the antenna.....problem solved....if indeed there is a recetion problem.....
the bars drop down but its not dropping calls or internet so it could be a display issue.....or...
as Steve Jobs says.....the bars have never been correct in years....that its a non-issue...I think most of the people having a fit are those super high tech geeks that are going to bitch even if the phone transports them thru time and space.....lol
I don't see a problem and I will have one as soon as one is available to me.....
Well DeeDee for me it is a "non issue" too. But that's because I don't have an IPhone or even a cell phone. It was a very funny video though! Loved the antennas! Reminded me of when I didn't have cable (just had one channel), but if I hooked up some rabbit ears and let them touch the doorknob I could get some cable channels. They were snowy, but I could watch them for awhile. Ahhhh the good old days!!

I've not rad the comments yt, but this is precisely why I do not endorse Apple equipment. Steve Jobs and his cloak and daggar way of doing business, and the "holier-than than tho" mentality of the adoring fan-bois.
I am sure once the posturing is done and the engineers address a problem that technically doesn't exist, it'll be "okay", Meanwhile, my clients have actual work to do.
Purchasing an Apple product should come with a complimentary tattoo, "Sheep". Just my professional opinion, folks.
Oh, and for those who think you're safe from malware by using Apple products? You're not. Since January, there have been 3 attacks. Steve Jobs in usual fashion, denied these. User error. My conclusion? According to Jobs, Apple owners must be idiots. Not my words; his.

if purchased with a contract at AT&T the 16 gig is $199..... the 32 gig is $299....
without a contract they get more expensive...like $600 and $700....
although why anyone would buy without a contract is beyond me....and 16 gigs of storage is more than you would ever use......
so let me git this right...if you have it in a case...there's no problemo? what idiot wouldn't put it in a case? I'd be afraid of dropping it~

MR. EBJ and I both bought the 3g iphones last year.
I do like it, however I was just as happy with my old clunker that I used for years, not to mention my $21/month plan.
We pay about $140/month for our 2 phones.
No plan right now to buy the new phone, but you never know!
We are staying home tomorrow, bought some big, fat shrimp, and some nice salmon to bbq.
Hard to really go anywhere with MRs broken foot, he has to wear a huge boot and is on crutches.
We were invited out tonight to go to some July 4th festivities, bbq and fireworks but had to pass it up.
