A woman was helping her husband set up his computer, and at the appropriate point in the process, told him that he would now need to enter a password. Something he will use to log on. The husband was in a rather humorous mood and figured he would try for the shock effect to bring this to his wife's attention. So, when the computer asked him to enter his password, he made it plainly obvious to his wife what he was keying in. "P....E....N....I....S.." His wife fell off her chair laughing when the computer replied:

Well I have to get done on FB as I have a bunch of running around today.
I have to go figure something out to take to the family reunion tomorrow. My Dad pressured me this year to go. I was thinking about skipping.
Just a warning, you guys may have to have bail money ready. This is the wing nut side of the family and I am in no mood for fundy religious crap or anyone and I mean anyone saying that BP should not pay and shame on the government making them set up a clean up and repayment fund. If this happens I will completely lose it and someone will be wearing strawberry shortcake!!!! imjs

LynnD,Wow, 3 agencies! One is enough for me! I am fortunate that our family reunions leave the politics at home. The only religious part is the pre-eating prayer. And believe me they are all very religious! Most are open minded, so sometime I do take offense when people attack them thinking they know how they think or vote. Love them all, warts and all lol!!

DIANNE asked me to post an update. She got her cast off yesterday, and they gave her a boot. She thought she would be able to do "some" weight bearing with it, but NO!!! The only thing that is nice about it is that she can take it off to sleep and to shower. She will also be starting PT very soon.

I have the 3 berry short cake made and real whip cream ready. No really I decided after my post this morning to make short cake. Strawberry, black berry and blue berries. Nice and messy.
Mary I love my family too, but I don't always like them. I try not to do the politics or religion when I go. Really.
Last time I went I was accosted by my Dad's new wife. Telling me I needed to go to church, especially her church, one that I totally disagree with and then she informed me what news programs I should be watching. Pretty bold. For once in my life I politely told her that the news she watches is not allowed in my house and if I ever decide to go to church it would not be one that promotes fundamentalist ideals, which in my opinion promotes bigotry. No one is as good as them white people, and if your gay, well they kind of foam at the mouth if you even say gay.
If worse comes to worse I figure I will leave the food and head home this year.
I want to go farm but it is to damn hot! So I am signing off and will check in with you all in the morning. I will need a sanity check before I leave. :)
OMG.. I came here @ 9:49am and could not get back.. I was so very busy today..

I have been gone most of the day. I had my day all planned and poof, I was sidetracked! I was in Lansing shopping and decided to stop at my fave. fruit market. I barely got in the door and I heard my name being called. It was my Niece and ex SIL who I hadn't seen in years. They were just stopping for flowers. They live in Illinois . What a coincidence! , so of course we had to talk, which made me late getting home. Hubby & I were meeting friends for Karaoke & drinks. I get home and my other Niece was there to see the puppy lol! Hubby & I were a little late meeting friends but they were cool about it. All this on nothing but a fruit slush and one small pancake! Long story long... We were at a fancy dancy wine bar that only served fancy dancy cheese & crackers!
k, I wrote a novel, what do you expect on an empty tummy,3 wine slushes and a bud lite lol!!
Need to drunk farm and get to bed, busy day tomorrow....
I can't keep my eyes open, so sleepy.. I have a busy weekend.. need to get some sleep..
