i wanna be carefree, i don't wanna
have to worry what other people
are thinking, i don't what to try
and rack my brain why someone
did this and why someone did that
i just wanna be able to turn my
cheek and not wonder wtf
it is in my being to be a caring person
i over extend myself to all, which is not
a struggle for me, it comes naturally
however, if someone does something
that somewhat affects me, it bothers me
even tho i know i have no control over
their feelings, its like i want to fix it
but just don't have the tools
this feeling has been with me always
i really don't think i can change it
in different aspects of my personality
i like to change things or work on them
and with time usually i succeed
with this, i don't think i can, it is
something i will have to deal with
i can't shuffle the cards on the deal
they are handed to me and i must
accept them, it is just the way it is
so my brain will work overtime
as it always does, and i will just
wonder why and wtf?

I read your blog on Myspace. I didn't address it here but I did put your brother in my prayers and I am glad that it was prostate cancer and not pancreatic cancer. Prostate is much easier to cure since it progresses slowly.
It has been very difficult for me to keep up with so many illnesses on line because I've been trying to help a life long friend of mine deal with her Mom's stage 4 cancer and two of my friends who have Moms with progressing Alzheimers. Also my boss's Mother has no bone mass left and now her skin is so thin that her blood vessels keep bursting and she's bled out twice.
Thanks MEK. It's on now and I got my dialin' finger ready (No not THAT one).

David Archuleta was my favorite at the beginning of the season, but his performances have become boring to me for the same reason you mentioned. He has the vocal talent, but I think he just needs more time to mature and find his own identity as a performer. He doesn't seem comfortable playing the role of Teen Idol to a bunch of screaming girls. :)
Amicus I agree. I think I'll like little David more in a couple of years.

Just Lin and SacBarb - I got thru the WHOLE first hour with NO busy signals - the busy started when the west coast started their dialing - I found last week that after about 10 minutes it calmed down and I could get thru..

I was watching Dancing with The Stars so I didn't see American Idol,, what dumb thing did Paula do tonight? And why is she still on the show?
MEK what a weird ending eh? I'm sure they will be bringing him back (R.Williams).
Want - it was classic - the judges were only going to "judge" after both songs, but Ryan asked them to say REAL quick how the first round went - and Paula started with Jason's "first song" and then started about his "second" which he hadn't even sung yet - she said it was TOO confusing having to take notes..... at the end - Simon said that it was the strangest show they have ever had!!! LOL
AND - my area - voting is over - SO, I did my deed - WEST COAST - keep it up!!!
Mary - SVU was JUST over - YES, bizarre - and I am SURE we have NOT seen the last of him.. too intense episodes in a row - don't know how many more of these "edge of the seat" things I can sit thru!!!
