What did everyone think about the Opening Ceremonies? Quite spectacular I thought. To be able to choreograph thousands of people all at once takes a lot of practise. Well done.

Dianne, That wasn't even funny! I thought you were going to be nice. They are playing the 49ers and I've been trying to switch back and forth between the Opening Ceremonies, but the Olympics are winning this battle.
I had to step away for a minute. My phone was ringing and scared me to death! Who would be calling at 11:30 p.m.? I always think it's something wrong with one of our parents when we get a late night phone call. Anyway, it was someone from my husband's work. He's on-call tonight and I didn't even know it.
Nope, Ronnie, I didn't get wet ...YET! I did get hit with a cream pie though.
No wonder your back hurts Shirley! You've been busy today! First, that fantastic breakfast and then you had all those water balloons to fill. AND you've been on guard all day with your super-soaker. Whew! Makes me tired just thinking about it!
It went well, Carol, thanks for asking. He is renting a house with four other young men and it's a 100 year old house. The floors, walls and ceilings are all hardwood. There's a fireplace in every room (non-working). I've never seen anything quite like it!
Carol and Mo, I guess. I didn't know quite what to say to him! He doesn't have a steady girlfriend so I said, "You should be doing that with someone you really care about, not with just any girl!"
CAROL...it was a small gift to give you. I wish I could have done more...you deserve the best and to have unlimited laughs and smiles! I am glad you had a wonderful birthday.
Mo so just reminded me of the time that I was out dancing at a night club with some friends of mine. Mind you this was some years back and I have mellowed since then. There was a condom dispenser in the ladies room that had different colors. I bought 3-4 and blew them up like balloons. I proceeded to walk out of the ladies room and back to our table with my beautiful collection of colored condom balloons. It just seemed like the thing to do at the time after having consumed peach Scnapps, Sex On The Beach,and a shot of tequilla. :0)
