Do you ever feel like you're invisible? Have you ever written something on the blog, and no one, I mean NO ONE, responds to you? My favorite is when you think you've written an extremely clever comment, and nothing! Zilch! Nada! Or better yet, you've been gone for a while and no one notices. I think this has happened to all of us at least once.
When I went to see Zona for the first time, we told very few people because I didn't want to have to explain everything if I didn't make the flight. After I arrived at her house, we went on the blog to tell everyone we were together and no one said anything. Here we were all excited, and nothing! I remember telling Zona that no one knew I was flying to AZ and what I wrote on the blog was a little bit cryptic if you didn't already know what was going on. So we went on our merry way and came back to the blog later and a couple of people had actually figured out what I had tried to say.
I've learned in the last year that just because you don't get a response, it doesn't mean that no one read it or no one liked it or it didn't make anyone laugh. I've had days where I can't get to the blog until late in the day and I will read something so freaking hilarious at the beginning, but by the time I catch up on the comments, I forget the first couple of things and only remember the funny ones at the end. It doesn't mean you haven't touched me with your comments/wit/troubles. I've also learned that I can't take anything personally. If I want to be "seen", I need to jump in and comment......more than once. I no longer worry about how many comments my blogs get. Some days there are a lot and some days, not so many. Does it really matter? No, it doesn't. There are days we are just too busy to be commenting or aren't in the mood. We sure do make up for it though, on other days!
So don't ever think you are invisible, because you're not. And don't forget.....we have lurkers. We have a duty to them as well. Hopefully they are learning from our fabulous friendships and wonderful words of wisdom! :)~ So get out there and be seen! I see you~

It was 120 math questions. The math questions were equilvant to someone who has had 32 hours of math in college.
Hubby has been out of college for 18 years, so he is a bit nervous about how he did.

Di, we had a plumber over on Friday. The bill was $188, $14 for parts and the rest was labor.
Oh, it was 1 1/2 hours of labor and he has to come back.
Goldie, so glad little Haley did well through surgery. How scary for a child and parents.
K-GIRL AND MO: What smart little owls you both are..I got the word charing out of the MO dictionary where she found the word cheaqt!! I think it might be a special book just for the owls.

Now we are getting an alarm for $245 more on the pump. Wonder where MrD thinks all this is coming from? It's too wet for me to get out on the streets tonight so hope he has a stash somewhere>
Time to go and eat the pizza I just picked up...I mean made..and watch DWTS while the husband keeps chatting with the plumber. MO, he is downstairs and pretty cute and young and thin so doubt there is a plumbers crack. I will ask my husband when he leaves...like he would know...NOT!!!
Well, Hooters... It looks like I'll be enjoying Mexico for a little while longer. There seems to be a problem getting a plane to come down here and get us. I've heard talk of a quarantine, but none of us are sick. Hung over or drunk, but not sick. Can any of you travel peeps give some advice? We usually use Jetwork Charter for private flights. Any other options? I really want out of this place.

Tina, other powers have been at work... A pilot has agreed to come get us in the morning (we just got the call). We have to pass some sort of health inspection. This is the sort of thing that happens to me all the time!! An innocent trip, to do some honest work, and I'm in the middle of a health crisis.
The last time I was this frustrated was when a plane carrying our cars landed in the wrong country. At least when I lose my car, I can remember which country I lost it in!
I am up for a little while. Tomorrow I know I will be better. Thank God for antibiotics.

Tomorrow (it is today already here) is the 2 year anniversary of the day my cousin Leah was killed by the drunk driver. If you think of it, please say a prayer for her family. They are still suffering so deeply.

It's been a busy day and I haven't had a chance to write here today but just wanted to say late in the blog's day......
Tina...OMG, I love the blogs you write! You often write what I've been thinking but are afraid to say out loud! Amazing woman, you are! I have felt invisible. Have written that as my MS status. Have gone away for awhile and believed myself to be invisible and unnoticed. But I have learned during my last extended blog break that one has to make themselves visible to be visible. That not participating or just once in awhile creates invisibility. And so now I am making myself more visible and I am visible again. And everyone's comments on my recent return to visibility made my heart sing. And I also know that I need to work hard at ensuring that others are visible as well - by looking in the trees for Owls when they have disappeared and by responding to their comments. Visibility requires one to be seen and one to see - thanks for reminding me of that!
K-grl, It's been all over the news that Swine flu was confirmed for that 7th grader. She and her family went to Mexico for Spring break. She goes to a Catholic School and they have closed it for the week and scrubbed down the whole school. They are testing some of her classmates who have also become ill. They also said her case was mild and she is doing well.

Mo...Well, Senor Ameba and the lovely continuing side effects got thought about in terms of typhoid, syphillis (barking up the wrong tree with that one!!!!!!!) bed bugs, diverticulits...never swine flu...and it turned out to be just a good old-fashioned parasite and then allerigc reactions to the poison to get rid of him!
