I have never been much of a Keith Urban fan. It's not that I don't like his music. I've just never really listened to it. Mr Z, on the other hand, has always loved his songs. A while back he came home with the CD "Defying Gravity" and asked me if I would sit with him and listen to one the songs. He told me he always thought of me when he heard it. What could I say? I sat down and listened. Right from the opening chords, I was hooked. Not only did I love the melody, but the words almost made me cry. I think this is an absolutely beautiful song...and one that is perfect for today. I hope you agree. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Even though I have never met Mr. Z I am sure I would like him very much. What a beautiful song! Please give him an extra hug from me. ((HUGS))
Another long and stressful week over. Next week doesn't look any better. Some days I feel like I'm drowning but this blog is always there as my lifeline. I see life is rough on some other owls as well. I guess we will all just have to stick together. Maybe some of us need a Mr. Z in our lives. Are you willing to share Zona?
I've made some heart shaped toasted bacon and egg sandwiches in the kitchen if anyone wants them. Some have cheese and some don't. There are some heart shaped pancakes too.

Funny I was distracted by watching the crowd shots when listening to this and it always amazes me how worked up people get. I watch these women intensly staring the poor guy down with hunger in their eyes and I think creepy. One step away from crazy obsessed stalking.
Am I weird I have just never felt that crazy about any musician, actor actress etc... I mean I can always admire their talent but have never felt like I would want to be so close that I am moved to tears, faint or want to wear their skin. LMAO
Ok have to finish on FB as Mr. Lynn D and I are going out for lunch later and some shopping at Costco. How romantic....:)

If you liked the song today..you have to check out the album it came from.."Defying Gravity" it really is a terrific album. Every song on it is a winner. I said in the blog I was never a big Keith Urban fan..but that has all changed. I always thought he had a killer smile and gorgeous eyes..but now I love his music as well. Thank goodness Mr Z has all his CDs!

I have to tell you this..it is so funny. I told Mr Z not to spend a lot of money on flowers or candy for Valentine's Day. With all the medical bills I know are coming, I just thought we should try to save some money. He walks in the other day with this huge smile on his face and says "Close your eyes..I have something for you.." oh my. He tells me to put out my hands..my mind is kinda racing at this point..but I do it. Then he hands me something heavy..and glass. Huh? I open my eyes and in my hands is a vase filled with a red roses! Attached to it was a balloon. I was stunned "I told you not to do this!" He grinned from ear to ear.."I wasn't going to..but I won this in a raffle at work!!" He was so proud of himself..I just laughed and laughed. He's such a goof.
ZONA..You and Mr.Z are just too cute for words! I swear, you guys should write a marriage manual!

I am enjoying watching the Olympics at night. I love the ice skating and it is so exciting watching someone get the medal (especially if it is us). Our news has been featuring a story on different people too and that is interesting to know about them when you hear their names.
We went with my daughter and family today to see Valentine's Day and early dinner. I think the movie was cute except I dozed off once...I don't usually do that either. It sure has a lot of good people in it but lots of different stories with each person. ZONA, you would love it as McDreamy and McSteamy are both in it.
I didn't have to play any games at that baby shower yesterday because there were so many people and tons of presents to be opened. Yea..because I saw those baby food jars there to be passed around again!! So sad I have to miss the third baby shower next week since I will be on a ship!!!

CAROL AND JENNIFER: Hmmmm....stealing from a little child!!! (for you non FB people) I was trying to pass on a couple of one time gifts to my GD and we had it all planned out and here came CAROL getting the fountain and then stated that she didn't even know what it was!!! I guess in her defense she would have had no idea that I was trying to give them to GD. whew...we almost had a wrestling match~~lol
