My Day!
Its Saturday, my most favorite day of the week. I get to close out Mon thru Fri, and concentrate on nothing but the silliness of life. It is odd Saturday for me, for I become a different person, no longer in work mode, I can breath and enjoy the 24hrs I have. I don't know if many can understand the relief of the "non owner" for just one day. It is a feeling that totally releases me, and also allows me to reflect on what is around me. Saturday's will always be mine to be me, no matter what I am doing.

Carol I so get having one day, just one, to do what you want or not. Go get pampered or just see a movie, or even to hang out in your PJ's all day and read or watch TV. It is a relief to have these days. It clears the mind. I call them my lazy days.

I need to get some things done here and then I am out and about today. Some of the volunteer ladies are taking me out to lunch for my birthday after food bank. I am really touched by this. See you all later today.

Hello everybody, on this, Carol's Saturday! We're down in Palm Springs this weekend for Jim's brother's 60th birthday. Hope everybody has a great day (sounds like Carol will!)

If you get a chance...could you run over to Betty Fords house and get the case of scotch she has for me....you can have it and oh! if she doesn't answer the door just go on in....she may be "sleeping".....possibly sprawled on the living room floor...just step over her....

Well... not really.. :O)
Well.. this day did not turn out as planned.. Got up late.. and then had to rush around as it was my young cousins b'day so I had to get him a gift and be at my cousins by 3p.. that did not work, got there at 3:30p. and just got home a bit ago..
And then.. My mother reminded me that we have a b'day party to attend tomorrow @ 12noon.. I had forgotten all about it.. so my Sunday will be spent with many young tots.. so hope they all don't scream at once..
My weekend so far has been a bust!
