It is a fun place, we don't bash and we have fun being "tedious"!
We offer advice, give love, lots of free food and an open forum which can be about anything that is important, thought provoking or just plain silly.
And sometimes we just March (some to different drummers, but all together). :)

I am so off to get the grey out of my hair today. It is snowing and supposed to snow all day. So far not quite as much as they have predicted. I got so sick of hearing about it on TV last night and a special news/snow report this AM...do they think we live in Hawaii....for crap sake...it's Colorado and we are supposed to get snow..(I think I have said this a dozen times). The line just for gas last night was like it was rationing and the grocery store was like a hurricane was coming soon and now the roads are only wet so far. It still could and might get worse but for the love of.......
Ok...whew....sorry about that...it just gets on my nerves in case you couldn't tell!

Off to shower (sorry I didn't do it before I blogged) and to become that young looking chick and then to babysit and go to granddaughters first volleyball game (inside). Hey MARY, my daughter is in Vegas for a conference now until Sunday. She is at the MGM...could you go by and give her a hug for me? Thank you.
BEBBI: We were typing at the same time. Our minds must be thinking alike because I said cheese curds yesterday to JODI too and mine went through....I think.
Oh yea...I have to tell you guys one more thing. Yesterday I was eating a piece of licorice and felt something crunchy in it. I took it out and there was a crown for a back tooth on yet the OTHER side of my mouth. I couldn't believe it and all I can see is $$$$ signs. I haven't finished paying for my root canals and bridge yet (hopefully that will change after MARY wins my money and doesn't let MR Mary keep it). The dentist took me in with mylittle tooth in a baggie and were able to cement it back for the "time being". He said my teeth were just having wear and tear and of course I haven't been able to eat on the other side for 7 weeks now. I have always had such good dental care and teeth and this last nine months....I get my final bridge on the other side of those two teeth on Tuesday. I asked the dentist for a job there to pay off my bill.. Hell, I can pull teeth and charge too. Everyone knows me so well there...hmmmm, I wonder why?
lol you guys~ I wrote this on Monday night....I had just picked up the hubby...we came home and I checked the blog while he was unpacking...there were no blogs....I about pooped a brick and wrote this...and while I was writing it, Carol posted the blogs she had received.....we both laughed but decided to post this one anyway...well the hubby was back for all of two days and left again....right now he's trying to get home from Reno. The goofball flew standby....I tole him to buy a ticket!!! ugh!!! MEN!!!! Hopefully he'll be home tonight! :D

It is snowing hard here now. I just got over to the kids and the roads or more reality is the traffic is horrible. It is slushy and white-outs around different areas. It is so weird how the weather can be so different in a block or two.

My GD still has her indoor volleyball game tonight. I keep wishing they would cancel. We just received the email that soccer is off for tomorrow...good since that is outdoor!! Think I will take them to Olive Garden after the game tonight for some yummy hot soup and dinner.

I did not stop by yesterday, so I want to thank you for your blog.. I get my taxes done by a corp accountant as my company is incorporated. They do my office, me and Sal's.. It costs me about 1200.00 but its worth it.. I would not know where to start.. when in business ya gotta do what ya gotta do.. even tho I hate paying that bill!!!
I received several blogs from owls over these last few days.. I sent you each a e-mail to let you know when they will posted.. I want to thank you all.. They are all good, and I (and Tina) appreciate it.. and the good news is Tina, gets to spend lots of time with her hubby.. and me, well I will just farm longer..

Prior to my divorce, I'd been taking my kids to a counselor to deal with the violence at home. I followed her advice and did what she told me to keep the kids safe. Let's call her Fanita.
During my divorce, my ex hired Fanita to testify against me. I hired a stenographer to document the hearings. My lawyer asked Fanita if she'd ever seen the kids prior to the divorce and she answered, "No".
I let the insurance company know about this, even provided the steno notes from the case. They took an interest because they'd been billed by Fanita (and paid her) for services she testified under oath that she never provided. Fanita was charged with insurance fraud and her license to practice was yanked.
Fanita recounted, and admitted that she had indded, seen the kids during the time in question. The insurance fraud charges were dropped.
Then I let the court know of these goings-on. Perjury is a felony. Since it was a domestic violence case, it's a special circumstance. Child endangerment is also a felony. Sweet Fanita was convicted of 2 felony counts and sent to prison.
Then I had a delightful conversation with the local IRS office, which became very interested in Fanita's tax history.
I do believe she's burning in Hell right now. Or wishing she was, anyway.
