I usually wait to watch Idol when they are all back in Hollywood. This season I've been watching since Day 1 with my hubby and kids. Wednesday night I watched to see if I could spot DeeDee at the Dallas audition. No such luck...unless that was her in the blue sequined dress at the beginning! :D
When Todrick took his turn in front of the judges and said he had written a special song for them, I thought.....uh-oh! It could go either way~ Here's the song he sang for them:
I thought he was so cute and the song was cheesy, but fun. What did you think and who is your favorite so far?

It's too early for me to pick anyone and I can't remember their names anyway. I sometimes wonder if my sound is working right on my TV, cause the judges put threw people who I thought were terrible. Not sure if I'm hearing people the same way the judges are.

Tina, we won't be able to see the vid, but I'm sure many saw it the first time. I surfed upon Idol recently and saw an Adam Lambert wannabe. I will give the young man credit for trying.

Shirley- I agree with everything you said, can't remember names yet and I always wonder if the judges and I are listening to the same people!
Happy Friday to you all and I need a major favor. Please say a prayer for my nephew. He is only 11- he has multiple mental health issues and is currently in the hospital. This is just breaking my heart for him, my sister and brother-in-law and his sister and brother. thanks.

American Idol will yank a video quickly....they have it all nailed down.
I have never watched from the beginning but its interesting to see the rejects......what I want to know is who encouraged the people who can't sing to pursue it to the point of worldwide humiliation...
And interestingly....it was pointed out...that is a contestant can't take the heat that panel can dish out...that they would never make it in the biz.....
I think for the first time last year that they hit on someone who embodies what they are truly looking for in Adam Lambert....and that won't happen again...possibly ever.
But of this list of winners....its interesting to look to see how many we still hear about.....

Bonach I've kind of been watching Idol while I do other things. It's much more interesting to me when they get to Hollywood and have pared it down to those that really have a shot.

Tina Although the vid is not available, I do remember the singer and his song. It could have gone horribly wrong, but the lyrics were actually clever and he had a decent voice, too. It worked!

The vid is the most I've seen of AI in about 2 years. I thought the guy was good, but what do I know? I'd heard something about "pants down" but I assume since the kid was fully clothed, he had nothing to do with it?

Afternoon Glories!
Well everybody must be out flying today.
I have been gone since the butt crack of dawn and just changed out of my good clothes and put on my sweats ratty Tshirt and polar fleece. Long day!
Went to a rally at our state capital representing the WA Hunger coalition advocating for food banks and food programs in the state. Trying to convince our elected officials to hold off on any cuts to our programs. Since we are already doing less and feeding 100 percent more families just at our food bank I really thought I needed to be there.
One in four families in the state of WA are now using food banks. Can I say depressing? I don't know if it did any good but I did meet two more legislators and two state senators. So maybe, just maybe they listened to the middle aged homely lady from podunk hollow. We shall see.
Tina don't watch AI never could get past the first season. I just always feel sorry for those that really think they have talent and well you know..... It makes me squirm to watch.

TINA - I don't watch AI, but I thought the song was quite clever.
LYNN - Making one's voice heard always accomplishes positive action. Hopefully the politicians are listening. Just as important everyone who saw you and the others out there are being reminded to contribute something to their fellow human beings. You just reminded me that it has been too long since I contacted our recourse center.
GOLDIE - I just said a prayer for your nephew and the family. It is heartbreaking to see a child in such trouble.
What a quiet day today! What has everyone been doing? I went to work for a few hours and I will be returning again this evening. It's raining softly here but was coming down pretty a few hours ago. Now that I've had dinner, I feel more like nodding off than going back to work.

That should have been "coming down pretty heavy". I seem to just skip whole words periodically. What's with that? I guess my fingers just can't keep up with my brain. At least I don't speak that way. LOL

I had a long and trying day.. so much happen, in one day.. I can't even think straight.. my business partner got into a little fender bender which ended the day just as it began, crappy. He is fine, I think just his pride is hurt.. He need a new tire and his car has to go to the body shop for some fixin.. I did not get home till 9:30.. Why does everything happen in one day.. I wish these crappy things would spread out..
It seems my business is up, I have been going crazy, but the problem is I can't keep up.. ppl are coming out of the woodwork.. I would have to say ppl are spending money on travel again which is a good thing..
My business partner has been ill, he has been trying to come in and help but its hard for him..
Can't wait for tomorrow..

Carol I loved the dancing to YMCA! Your mom was having a ball up there with all the stallions! So cute! I wanted to dance with them, too.
J/L.. I know, it was so fun.. I was LMAO when it was happening, and then when I uploaded it, I laughed even more.. Italian Stallion # 3 seems to have the spotlight and he is loving every minute of it. When I asked him why he was dancing his ass off, he replied.. "I was in the Zone" lol
Italian Stallion #2 jumped off the stage and did a crazy ass move, but we missed it.. My SIL sister was taking the vid, it was her first time with the flip, so I think she was nervous and kinda just kept it in one place..
When I find the time I will upload the vid of Italian Stallion #1 walking in and everyone yelling surprise.. its over 10 min so I have to shorten it for you tube processing.. I just have to find the time..
